The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 898: Chapter 350: Screw Your Tragic Beauty (Part 20)

It would be better to bestow an empty title of nobility, which would not only highlight Emperor Tiantai’s deep affection and broad-mindedness but also leave such an auspicious symbol for Daqi.

Thus, after some discussion, the imperial court silently agreed with Emperor Tiantai’s decree.

The decree to appoint Ms. Hetian as Prince Pingliang was officially issued, and all the citizens of the Capital City learned of this peculiar story.

”Oh heavens, a prince with a different surname? And a woman at that?”

”I heard that this Prince Pingliang is remarkable, with innate divine strength, like a Heavenly Soldier and General sent by God to the Saint.”

”No way, a woman with great strength, how strong can she be?”

”That’s something you don’t know. My son works under the King of Chu, and he once saw it personally. When the army breached the city, they didn’t even need logs to batter down the gates; Prince Pingliang opened the tightly closed city gates with a single palm strike!”

”...so fierce?” It’s as if listening to a mythical tale.

”Of course, Prince Pingliang is a Heavenly General, with divine power, unimaginable for ordinary people.”

The people speculated variously, with amazement and admiration, and even some artistically embellished snippets arose.

Soon, many legendary stories about Prince Pingliang were circulating.

The fame was so great that even in the suburb of the capital, people humorously talked about Daqi’s first female prince with a different surname.

”...Dad, why do I feel that this Prince Pingliang seems a bit like my sister!”

The Tian Family obtained a farm tenant but did not cultivate it themselves.

Mr. Tian was advanced in years, and Tian Yaozong simply didn’t know how to farm and was unwilling to engage in hard labor.

Thus, Mr. Tian gritted his teeth and bought some Kunlun Slaves to do the farming and labor.

With slaves, Tian Yaozong, who already liked being lazy, now roamed around idly more openly.

As a result, he did manage to uncover some information.

This day, Tian Yaozong rushed back excitedly and upon seeing his father started shouting.

”What? Are you delirious with fever and talking nonsense?!”

Mr. Tian widened his eyes, looking at his foolish son as if he were a monster, ”Who is Prince Pingliang? She’s the Saint’s sworn sister, Daqi’s first female prince!”

A figure so high and distant, like a star in the sky, unreachable.

And Tian Daniu was just an ordinary peasant woman with a bit of strength.

During the famine, in defiance of her parents, she dared to hit the road with a child.

Humph, she drove a donkey cart filled with so much grain and Copper Coin, so conspicuous it would be robbed within two miles.

Initially, Mr. Tian wanted to pursue them and quickly find Tian Daniu and her child.

But after a few days of pursuit, with no news, Mr. Tian couldn’t help but suspect: Had they already been killed for their money?

Even if they escaped then, the subsequent days of fleeing were too hard to endure.

Mr. Tian calculated in every way; he still had some grain and Copper Coin but was forced to sell his daughter-in-law, abandon his little grandson, and finally even sell a worthless old woman.

A family of five ended up with only Mr. Tian and his son.

Thus, one can see the horrors of fleeing, war, and disease.

Mr. Tian felt that since the Tian Family was suffering so much, Tian Daniu, a woman with a child, would have likely perished somewhere long ago.

Fighting in a war, becoming a prince?

Ha, daydreaming!

”No, Dad, listen to me!”

Seeing Mr. Tian immediately dismiss him, Tian Yaozong grew anxious and hurried to explain: ”I remember my sister had extraordinary strength, she could even squeeze a solid copper lock into a ball.”

And Prince Pingliang possessed innate divine strength.

Thus, in terms of great strength, his own sister matched Prince Pingliang.

”Also, I investigated carefully. Prince Pingliang’s maiden family is surnamed Tian, and her husband’s family is He—”

Ms. Hetian, wasn’t that also his sister Ms. Hetian?

Though still unbelieving, Mr. Tian’s expression clearly softened a bit.

Seeing this, Tian Yaozong quickly pressed on, ”And most importantly, Prince Pingliang also has a son, fifteen years old this year!”

Doesn’t that match his convenient nephew, He Xiaobao?

If one is an accident, two are coincidences, but all three characteristics match, Tian Yaozong thought, that Prince Pingliang should be their elder sister!

Oh my, a Super Prince, Daqi’s first prince with a different surname, much better than some ridiculous Marquis Pingnan!

The key is that Ms. Hetian is his own sister, bound by blood, closely connected like bones and tendons.

In the past, his sister was fond of him; for his sake, she could even abandon her man and son.
