Help! Five Beast Alphas Want To Breed Me!!(BL)

Elián;

I can still feel the weight of Rhydian’s stare on my back as I walk away.

My vision blurs, and I hate the fact that my tears have decided to embarrass me again.

People break things and scream when they’re angry, but I cry like a fucking idiot. I can’t let anyone see me like this. Especially not Bram.

I quickly wipe away my tears as the petals under my feet crush softly. I decide that I need to leave. Screw the whole welcome ceremony. I cannot be here.

I hurry down the dirt path behind the huts, and each step feels heavier than the last. The farther I get from people, the thicker the wall of tears in my eyes grows.

WHY THE FUCK AM I CRYING!??

I now know Rhydian is a fool. I should be glad that I realised that before falling fully for him, yet here I am, crying.

I wipe my face again with my sleeves as the laughter and music fade behind me, replaced by the heavy ache in my chest.

I just need to breathe.

I just need to get away.

My throat feels tight, and my fingers tremble as I grab onto my sleeve.

I round the corner of a hut, planning to take the back path that leads up to the castle, when a familiar voice calls my name, and I instantly pause.

”Elián!” I turn around and find Seun jogging towards me, with his arms holding little Anwil firmly to his chest. A small smile splits my face when I see the cute daisy crown tilted sideways on the baby’s tiny head.

”You’re leaving?” He asks as soon as he’s close enough.

”What’s wrong? The ceremony just started.” He adds, and I shake my head quickly.

”No... I’m fine,” I lie, while forcing a smile that hurts my face.

”I just... I need to go back to the castle. All the noise is... a lot...” I add, and he stares at me with worry bleeding into his eyes.

”Why? Are you sick?” He questions, as he places the back of his hand against my forehead, and I politely brush his hand off

”No...” I breathe, and he pulls his hand back with confusion now on his face.

I look back at the path that leads to the ceremony, and my heart feels heavy as I look away.

”I just... don’t want to stay here anymore,” I whisper, and Seun’s gaze softens. He studies me for a second with a look that tells me that he knows me more than I think he does, and he smiles softly at me.

A soft, bitter smile.

”Is that Bram boy around?” He questions, and my stomach twists at the mere mention of the name.

I had opened up to him about Bram during one of our many banters, but I didn’t expect him to remember or piece things together so sharply.

”Where is he? Did he say something to you?” Seun pushes further, and before I can answer, a voice interrupts us like a baby’s cry during mass.

”Bestie!! Were you seriously just about to sneak off without having a chat with me??”

Seun and I freeze, and I don’t need to look behind Seun to know who just spoke.

”Tell me that’s not him,” Seun whispers to me, but I only swallow in building infuriation.

Seun slowly turns around, and when I look behind him, I shut my eyes in annoyance.

Of course I was right! I’d recognise that screechy ass voice anywhere!

Bram waves at me with a smug, poisonous smile on his face as his eyes glint with something cruel.

The fake sweetness he wore earlier is gone, and all I can see now is the true ugliness of his nature.

He steps forward and doesn’t even acknowledge Suen as he speaks to me with his voice dripping venom.

”I should’ve known you couldn’t handle seeing me again. Still so fragile, aren’t you, Elián?” He mocks, and my jaw clenches. I don’t move. I don’t even blink.

Seun shifts slightly beside me, his arm tightening around Anwil, but Bram still doesn’t acknowledge Seun as he keeps walking closer, with his grin widening.

His eyes run over me like I’m something filthy, and I just glare at him.

Light knows it’s taking everything in me not to launch myself at him, but I’m getting married tonight. Getting into a fight this morning would be a bad look, and somehow, I feel that just might be what he wants from me.

”What?” he sneers, and I look over as Seun, who quietly grabs my wrist to keep me from doing something stupid.

”You think hiding behind Koda will make you worth something? Or is that your new trick? Sleeping your way into a title since you couldn’t get Rhydian to keep you?” He snarls, and his words hit me in ways I wish they didn’t.

”Bram.” My voice comes out in a low warning.

”Don’t...” I begin, but he cuts me off with a bright, cruel laugh.

”Oh, please! Anyone can see it. What you truly are. You were obsessed with him, Elián. Jealous every time anyone got close to even a hair on his head. You begged for his attention every waking moment you had, and when he didn’t want you, you ran to his brother. Classic.” He says, and I furiously bite the inside of my cheek, and I will everything in me to stop from crying.

”Let me at him!” Elien suddenly screams in my head, but I WILL NOT get into a fight with this motherfucker today!

Bram tilts his head mockingly as he speaks his next words.

”The circle continues. Everyone keeps rejecting you. First our world, then your parents... and now Rhydian.” He whispers, and my heart snaps to a stop.

My eyes widen at his words, and before I even react, Seun steps in front of me and holds Anwil out to me.

”Hold my baby,” he says calmly, and I blink at him.

”What?” I question, but he pushes the warm little bundle into my chest.

”Seun...” I begin, but he cuts me off in a tone that leaves no room for argument.

”Hold. My. Baby.”

I take Anwil and press the pure-eyed baby against my chest instinctively as Seun turns to face Bram.

”Oh, you made a new friend? Let me guess. He’s also a slut like you...” Bram begins with a laugh, but doesn’t get to finish. Seun moved so fast I almost dropped Anwil in shock.

His hand whipped across Bram’s face with a sharp crack that resounded through the space between us.

The sound rings in the air like a bell of divine justice, and Bram’s head snaps to the side, with his mouth falling open in shock.

For a second, everything freezes. And even the trees seem to hold their breath.

Seun’s voice then follows with so much calmness it’s terrifying.

”You don’t get to talk to him like that,” He says, and I look up at the young man standing in front of me.

”You shouldn’t even be breathing in his direction, you vile, half-baked parasite!” He adds, and Bram’s face goes red.

Fury, humiliation, and disbelief all twist his face into one ugly expression.

”You hit me...” He begins, but Seun cuts him off.

”And I’ll do it again!” He cuts in sharply, taking a step closer to Bram, and Bram flinches.

”You think just because you’ve got a wimpy face and are favoured by some noble, you can spit on people? That you can follow him just to tear him down? Bitch, think again!” Seun growls, and my eyes widen.

Did he just use the B word!? They use that here??? I mean.. a bitch is a female dog... So maybe that is like a slur to wolves?

Either way, I’m frozen in place, with Anwil pressed tight to my chest.

I stare at Seun with my throat thick with unshed tears.

No one’s ever stood up for me like this...

...Not with this kind of fire.

Yet he just... hit Bram... for me??
