My Silly, Sweet Wife

Shang Wen Dong prided himself on his endurance.

For nearly ten years, Shang Wen Dong had never shown his face, nor had he truly entered anyone’s sight.

He had been plotting a grand plan, but it had been ruined by Ye Guichen time and time again.

Even with the strongest resolve, Shang Wen Dong had now lost his patience.

Forcing himself to appear a bit more normal, Shang Wen Dong smiled and said, ”Son, do you admire that Ye Guichen so much?”

”Hehe, of course.” Shang Shufang said proudly, ”Dad, even though I’m young, I’m good at judging people. Although I don’t fully understand who Ye Guichen is, he’s definitely not simple, and following him will surely be a good choice.”

Seeing Shang Shufang’s eager expression, Shang Wen Dong’s eyes brimmed with killing intent.

Shang Shufang was his only son. If he really aligned himself with Ye Guichen, dealing with Ye Guichen would inevitably be troublesome.

Since that’s the case, Ye Guichen could not be allowed to live.

”Alright, rare for my son to have someone he admires. How about this, invite Ye Guichen over for dinner at our place tonight, what do you think?” Shang Wen Dong asked.

”Dinner?” Shang Shufang had never seen his father invite anyone over for dinner, and now with Rashamon hiding at home, if Ye Guichen discovered him, there might be trouble.

Shang Wen Dong seemed to notice Shang Shufang’s concerns and waved him off, ”Don’t worry, I’ll have Rashamon hide. We haven’t eaten together as a family in a long time. Tonight, I’ll get your mother too. No matter what, invite Ye Guichen over. How about it?”

”Alright, I’ll do my best.” Seeing his father’s insistence, Shang Shufang nodded in agreement, ”I’ll go find my brother now.”

”Go ahead.” Shang Wen Dong waved him off, and after Shang Shufang left, a deep gloom flashed in his eyes, ”Good, Ye Guichen, tonight is your death day.”

Shang Wen Dong didn’t want to wait anymore; tonight he would kill Ye Guichen.

Thinking for a moment, Shang Wen Dong took out his phone and first called Rashamon, ”I’m inviting Ye Guichen over for dinner tonight. It’s a perfect chance for you to get your revenge.”

Rashamon was silent for a moment, seemingly surprised that Shang Wen Dong would invite Ye Guichen over.

Last time, he had barely escaped Ye Guichen’s hands, and now, although his injuries had mostly healed, he was no match for Ye Guichen, ”Shang Wen Dong, what do you mean? Ye Guichen is not easy to deal with, I can’t beat him now.”

”Hehe, master, you’re a figure of renown. A small fry like him scares you?” Shang Wen Dong teased, ”Don’t worry, I’ll arrange men to ambush around us, and I’ll poison the dishes, ensuring he won’t return.”

”Will it work?” Upon hearing Shang Wen Dong’s plan, Rashamon was excited, ”Can you really invite him?”

”Absolutely.” Shang Wen Dong’s lips curled into a smile, ”Coincidentally, my son regards him as an elder brother. While this annoys me, it’s a golden opportunity. Just wait.”

After hanging up, he called Niu Lan, but the phone rang for a long time without any answer.

He called the landline, but still, there was no response.

Shang Wen Dong found it strange.

Since rescuing Rashamon and bringing him home, he hadn’t contacted Niu Lan.

Shang Wen Dong knew Niu Lan had been trying to exact revenge on Ye Guichen for Long Zhengkun.

But after all this time, not only was Ye Guichen living well, but he had also gotten close to his son.

This made Shang Wen Dong extremely upset!

”Useless woman!” Shang Wen Dong muttered, quickly leaving for Niu Lan’s residence.

Although he didn’t want to contact Niu Lan, tonight he needed to make the act convincing, so he had to bring Niu Lan along to present a loving family façade, making Ye Guichen drop his guard.

However, when Shang Wen Dong arrived at Niu Lan’s place, he found the iron gate locks had started to rust.

”Hmm?” Shang Wen Dong, being meticulous, immediately sensed something was wrong.

He knew Niu Lan well; although she didn’t dare leave the villa, she would sneak out for air.

And the household should have gone out for groceries; the gate shouldn’t be rusting.

”Could something have happened?” Shang Wen Dong slightly flexed his sleeves, looked at the wall, and with a light leap, flipped over it.

If anyone saw this, they would be stunned.

No one would expect someone as refined-looking as Shang Wen Dong to be so agile.

After leaping over, Shang Wen Dong stealthily walked into the villa.

A faint smell of blood lingered in the villa’s living room, and it was a mess as if it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time.

Knowing Niu Lan, she would never let the villa get this messy, nor would she let the courtyard grow weeds.

Looking closely, a few pieces of men’s clothing were casually thrown on the sofa, and on the coffee table, a smoking cigarette butt was left as if someone had just finished smoking.

”Damn, there’s a man?” Shang Wen Dong’s heart skipped a beat, his body tensed up, and just as he was about to walk inside, he felt a strong presence assault him.

Shang Wen Dong quickly dodged, jumped back two steps, and looked up to see a hideous-looking man with two prosthetic hands staring intently at him.

”White Wolf?” Seeing the scar on the opponent’s face and his prosthetic hands, Shang Wen Dong immediately identified him as the Yama Hall Killer, White Wolf.

”You know me?” White Wolf didn’t expect Shang Wen Dong to recognize him instantly, his face darkened, ”I go by Iron Hand now, who are you?”

”Iron Hand?” Shang Wen Dong sneered, ”I don’t care if you’re White Wolf or Iron Hand. Tell me, where is the villa’s original mistress?”

”You mean, where’s Niu Lan?” Iron Hand scoffed, ”She brought it on herself by offending the wrong person; she’s long gone to meet King Yan.”

”You killed her?” Shang Wen Dong hadn’t expected Niu Lan to be dead. Though their relationship was more nominal now, she had given him a son. He was momentarily shaken.

Iron Hand completely disregarded Shang Wen Dong, ”Yes! Since you know who I am, killing a person is simple for me. But now that you’ve come here yourself, you’ll join Niu Lan.”

Iron Hand had been hiding in the villa, not wanting to be discovered.

Now that Shang Wen Dong had come, Iron Hand felt no need to let him live.

Without another word, Iron Hand attacked.

His hands had been crippled, but the iron prosthetics still gave him formidable combat power.

Swish!

The iron hands, sharper than blades, aimed straight for Shang Wen Dong.

Shang Wen Dong’s face darkened, but instead of retreating, he sneered, ”A mere third-rate peak assassin dares to challenge me?”

With that, Shang Wen Dong flicked his right hand, and three small knives flew out from his sleeve.

The knives were extremely sharp; the middle one clashed with Iron Hand’s prosthetic, sparking.

To everyone’s shock, the knife impact was so strong that it forced Iron Hand several steps back.

In a flash, the other two knives struck close.

Iron Hand was alarmed, not expecting such skill; he quickly dodged one knife, but the other plunged into his shoulder.

Bang!

With the knife piercing him, Iron Hand crashed heavily into the coffee table, smashing it apart.
