Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 836: Chapter 846: That Kind of Thing Would Never Happen to Me

Instructor Mu calmly picked up a piece of bread, spread some jam on it, and handed it to An Ran.

An Ran couldn’t help but cover her face; was this guy showing off?

Discussing this topic at a breakfast table full of men, had they given any thought to her, the sister-in-law’s, feelings?

Lin Junyang’s face darkened, and he gritted his teeth, ”Me, be with her? Can she even be considered a woman? She doesn’t have an ounce of womanly grace.”

Just as Lin Junyang finished speaking, Xiao Xiao came hastily running down the stairs, ”thump, thump, thump.”

She seemed just to have woken up, her hair a bit messy, and she was still in yesterday’s dress, which was wrinkled. In her rush, she was barefoot.

After coming downstairs, Xiao Xiao went straight to Lin Junyang and said apologetically, ”Uh, Lin Junyang, I just woke up groggy. I’m sorry, I’m sorry.”

Xiao Xiao put her hands together and repeatedly apologized.

She was genuinely baffled; waking up in the morning to find a man lying next to her was quite a shock, even for her usually carefree self.

For heaven’s sake, her using her Shadowless Kick on a defenseless sleeping man was purely instinctive and an automatic reaction when half-awake.

But after kicking the guy onto the floor, she realized they were both fully clothed, even in what she wore yesterday.

It dawned on her that she was in Instructor Mu’s villa and vaguely remembered having too much to drink last night.

She figured this man must have brought her up and tucked her in tightly.

Thinking of it this way, Xiao Xiao felt quite guilty inside.

Lin Junyang, with his eyes downcast, fixated his gaze on Xiao Xiao’s feet.

Following his gaze, Xiao Xiao looked down only to realize she had rushed out without shoes in her hurry.

Was Lin Junyang staring at her remembering the kick from earlier?

At this thought, Xiao Xiao’s little feet awkwardly rubbed against each other; she wished she could cover them up, afraid the man in front of her might act impulsively and step on her with his foot as big as a fan.

Seeing the movement of her little feet, Lin Junyang’s throat gently rolled. When he looked up, his face was full of exasperation, ”Xiao Xiao, are you even a woman?”

Xiao Xiao swallowed a bit, feeling sheepish, ”Although the kick earlier was quite strong, as you can see, my feminine features are pretty obvious.”

Lin Junyang felt the vein on his forehead throb.

Pretty obvious feminine features? It’s rich of her to say; just look at those little feet, and you can tell she’s a woman. How could she not have any awareness of being one?

”I don’t think you’re a woman at all. What kind of woman runs around barefoot? It’s one thing to be coarse with words, but I didn’t expect your actions to be so unruly. Xiao Xiao, you’re a disgrace to the word ’woman’.

Even An Ran, who usually had a good temper, couldn’t help but feel a bit uneasy hearing Lin Junyang ridicule Xiao Xiao like that.

Xiao Xiao was her best friend; she brought her all the way to the Imperial City to have fun, not to be ridiculed by Lin Junyang.

Was it wrong for Xiao Xiao to like him? It was just a misunderstanding, but did he have to verbally assault her like this?

Watching Xiao Xiao’s face turn paler with Lin Junyang’s words, An Ran put down the bread she was holding and was about to stand up, but a big hand stopped her.

Looking up, she met Mu Xingfeng’s eyes, who gently shook his head, signaling her not to intervene.

Just then, Xiao Xiao got irritated, ”Lin Junyang, you keep saying I’m not a woman, so are you some kind of man?”
