Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 348: Chapter 361: The Feeling of a Date

Could it be that I have really fallen in love with Instructor Mu?

An Ran was startled by her own thoughts, quickly withdrawing her gaze to look out the window, ”Wasn’t Instructor Mu going to take me for a walk? I’ll follow your lead.”

Hearing An Ran’s response, Mu Xingfeng smiled, sat up straight, and started the car, ”Alright, then I’ll make the arrangements. Let’s go out for dinner first.”

Mu Xingfeng took An Ran to a renowned French restaurant in the Imperial City.

He had planned to bring An Ran here last time, but Commander Lin had a prior engagement. With days being so busy, he never had the chance to officially take this girl on a date. Today, he conveniently seized the opportunity to let her experience the feeling of a romantic outing.

This restaurant is located in a bustling district of the Imperial City, has a great location and high-class ambiance, and most importantly, the food here is authentic.

There are many diners visiting this place daily, and seats need to be booked in advance.

Mu Xingfeng had booked a table early in the morning.

He actually knew that today was Sun Wangbei company’s annual party, but ever since he saw this girl with sparkling eyes whenever Wang Han was mentioned, he decided not to take her to the party.

He originally thought if she was upset, he would make it up to her with a date. Surprisingly, after the incident, seeing her bruised legs and arms, he didn’t even want to take her out.

Nothing is safer than keeping her at home. If possible, he would tie her to the bed directly.

The restaurant is on the top floor of a commercial building. There’s an elevator outside that goes directly to the restaurant.

Mu Xingfeng didn’t book a private room but chose a spot by the window.

The biggest feature of this restaurant is its location on the 28th floor of this commercial building. Sitting by the bright floor-to-ceiling windows, you can take in the view of half the Imperial City.

The waiter respectfully handed over the menu. Mu Xingfeng took the menu and handed it to An Ran, ”See what you like to eat? The filet steak here is good.”

An Ran nodded with a smile, took the menu, glanced at it briefly, and thought the prices were really astonishing, but if Mu Xingfeng brought her here, he wouldn’t consider these.

”Filet steak, pasta, goose liver pâté, fruit salad, and a snack platter,” An Ran ordered and handed the menu back to Mu Xingfeng.

Mu Xingfeng took the menu casually, ”Is that all?”

”That’s plenty. If you keep feeding me like this, I’ll turn into a pig, Instructor Mu.”

Just because Doctor Yuan mentioned malnutrition last time, recently, Mu Xingfeng had Nanny Chen prepare nourishing soups every day, nutritious and delicious food for every meal. An Ran felt that Mu Xingfeng not only replenished the nutrients she lacked before, but she was almost over-nutritioned.

She had gained a kilogram.

”It’s okay, being plump feels better.” Mu Xingfeng handed the menu to the waiter, ”Make it two of each.”

He looked so serious as if the flirtatious words he just said weren’t from him.

”Alright,” the waiter took the menu and asked, ”Sir, would you like some wine? All our wines are from Petrus, Bordeaux, France. Would you like a bottle?”

”Sure, bring me a bottle of Petrus.”

”Yes,” the waiter responded and turned to leave.

”Instructor Mu, you’re going to drink?” An Ran couldn’t help but ask.

They came by car, and she didn’t know how to drive. Was Instructor Mu planning to drive drunk?

The distance from here to the villa wasn’t close. Wouldn’t drunk driving be dangerous?
