Reborn Divine Doctor: The Abandoned Girl's Legend

Chapter 587: Chapter 456: He Who Harms Others Ultimately Harms Himself

Outside the privy, everyone was dumbfounded.

Princess Qing Bi was still oblivious to everything, kept company by Hong Fang.

”Princess!”

Only upon hearing a scream did she reluctantly open her intoxicated eyes. With one glance, Princess Qing Bi shrieked and pushed Hong Fang off her.

”Beast!”

Cong Lv could no longer stand by and watch. He rushed forward and kicked Hong Fang away.

”Ah!!”

Princess Qing Bi finally came to her senses. Upon examining herself, she found her body crawling with disgusting insects, and there were various small wounds left by insect bites.

Xue Pianran and Little Yu hurriedly took some clothes and covered Princess Qing Bi.

”How on earth did this happen, Xiahou Qi!” Cong Lv was too angry to speak.

Princess Qing Bi had only gone to the privy, and she had been ruined... and in front of so many people. Emperor Beiqing, once informed, would surely not let this go.

The princess herself would never act so frivolously, but her behavior just moments ago was...

Drunk as she had been, Princess Qing Bi soberly put on the clothes and looked disheveled. She looked again at Xiahou Qi, who wouldn’t even glance at her.

Her heart stung painfully; everything was ruined.

In a frenzy, Princess Qing Bi rushed up to Cong Lv, seized his sword, and chopped at the restrained Hong Fang.

At this moment, Hong Fang’s pupils dilated, still immersed in the aftertaste.

The sword in Cong Lv’s hand, a gift from Emperor Qing, was an earth-level top-grade spiritual treasure. With one slash, blood spurted.

With one, two, three cuts, Princess Qing Bi chopped wildly like a madwoman.

Her crazy demeanor caught the eyes of Empress Dowager Liu and the Grand Empress Dowager, wild as a crazed beast.

Xiahou Qi’s look towards her grew even colder.

Covered in blood, the princess dropped the sword and couldn’t hold back any longer, sobbing loudly.

”Princess, please stop crying. What exactly happened? Think about who might want to harm you,” said Xue Pianran, seeing the bloodied mess. She frowned imperceptibly and approached Princess Qing Bi with a gentle face, softly questioning her.

Yet, there was a subtle slyness in her eyes.

Hearing Xue Pianran put it that way.

Princess Qing Bi stopped crying. She had been very confused while intoxicated.

But she remembered that a man, more terrifying than a ghost, had told her not to provoke Ye Lingyue.

It was that man who had forcefully brought her to the privy, where she was violated.

She wouldn’t let this go if Ye Lingyue wanted to have peace either!

”It’s Ye Lingyue, she did this to me, she had someone coerce me, she ruined my purity!” Princess Qing Bi hysterically shouted.

”Princess, is this true? Was it really Ye Lingyue who harmed you?” Xue Pianran’s face showed a hint of joy upon hearing this.

”Yes, that man must have been under Ye Lingyue’s command. He heard me planning to harm...” Princess Qing Bi said, her voice faltering as she felt guilty, and she didn’t continue.

”Princess Qing Bi, you can’t talk nonsense; you claim I harmed you, but is there any evidence?”

The crowd dispersed, and Ye Lingyue and Ye Huangyu walked over.

Ye Lingyue had been worried all day about her mother not eating, so she went to bring some food, only to find something unusual in the air upon entering the bedroom.

Although Yun Sheng had cleaned the bridal room, there was still a wisp of seductive scent lingering.

While Ye Lingyue was pondering this, she heard commotion outside, stating that Princess Qing Bi of Beiqing was missing.

Given the special status of Princess Qing Bi, if something happened to her within the Ye Residence, it would certainly be related to her.

Thus, Ye Lingyue walked out with her mother, only to hear Princess Qing Bi accusing her.

”It was you, that man was your servant, he heard that I was going to... I was going to...” stuttered Princess Qing Bi.

”Little Yu, speak up, what exactly happened?” Cong Lv barked with a stern face.

The one called Little Yu was terrified, knelt on the ground, glanced at Princess Qing Bi, then at Cong Lv, and stuttered.

”If you fail to protect the princess and keep hiding things, I will have you killed here tonight,” Cong Lv gritted his teeth, the sword slipping from its sheath.

”Spare me, Lord Cong, the princess... the princess was railing against the Yue Marquis at that time, and she even said... she said that she obtained an infertility pill from the court alchemist, intending to make Yue Marquis ingest it, so she would never become Princess Consort Feng,” Little Yu blurted out, terrified by Cong Lv’s glare.

Everyone gasped in shock at this revelation.

What exactly is an infertility pill?

That was something only used in the brothels, devised by madams to prevent their courtesans from getting pregnant, forcing others to ingest it.

Initially, people had some sympathy for Princess Qing Bi because of her plight, but hearing that such a young lady resorted to using such an extremely malevolent method like the infertility pill revealed her true nature, far from virtuous.

Both the Grand Empress Dowager and Empress Dowager Liu’s expressions drastically changed, realizing that simply because she didn’t like Yue Marquis, she used the infertility pill.

If this woman were to become Empress of Daxia and truly control the harem, wouldn’t she become another Noble Princess Consort Luo.

Thinking this, the hearts of the Grand Empress Dowager and Empress Dowager Liu grew cold.

At that moment, Cong Lv found himself in a difficult position, initially only wanting to uncover the mastermind but had unexpectedly exposed the matter of the infertility pill.

He wanted to inquire further, but as he looked up, he saw Prince Feng standing among the crowd.

Prince Feng’s face was grim, and looking at Princess Qing Bi, a chilling light flickered in his eyes.

Cong Lv felt a chill in his heart, knowing that Princess Qing Bi had completely offended Prince Feng because of this incident.

”Little Yu, you dare elaborate, the princess was just drunk and joking around, not really intending to harm Yue Marquis; who allowed you to spread rumors,” Xue Pianran sharply glanced at Little Yu, casually commented.

Hearing this, Little Yu quickly came to a realization.

”I am to blame, the princess has always been kind-hearted, and it was just drunken rambling at that time, how could she truly act on it. But, the kidnapping of the princess at the Ye Residence is absolutely true, and I beg Emperor Xia and Lord Cong to seek justice for the princess.”

The two women cleverly deflected all the blame.
