Falling For My Alpha Stepsister (GL)

April

And I was completely, undeniably right.

I was just saying it to tease the devil, but then it turned out to be the absolute truth. Days went by in a flash, and Terror was visibly getting bigger around her middle with every single passing afternoon.

Eventually, Angel couldn’t deny the rounded shape anymore and took her directly to the vet.

The vet confirmed the obvious: Coco Terror Morningstar was officially pregnant.

And Someone did not take that piece of news lightly at all.

Angel immediately started looking and acting like some kind of hyper-overprotective, unhinged parent.

She did not go quiet about it either. She went on a complete rampage and literally summoned every single cat owner in the entire district to bring their male cat forward to the beach for an emergency inspection.

Honestly, the whole thing was childish beyond words, but Angel was dead serious about her investigation.

Sitting under a massive shade umbrella a short distance away happened to be Abigail, who did not care in the slightest about the chaotic scene unfolding out on the open sand.

She was far too busy making final preparations for the upcoming wedding anniversary of the district owner.

Katie was sitting right beside her, helping out with the paperwork while constantly stuffing her mouth with fresh slices of fruit.

And I just sat there on the lounge chair with them, watching Angel act like some kind of unhinged dictator ready to hunt down and execute the stray cat responsible for her precious pet’s condition.

”I still can’t believe she really summoned every single cat in the district,” I said, staring out at the bizarre lineup on the beach while shaking my head in pure disbelief.

”Angel is full of wonders, and that is definitely one of them, Awkward..” Sabrina said from where she was kneeling on the floor, gently massaging Katie’s bare feet. ”Can’t believe you actually settled for that.”

Seriously, someone who was part of making me fall for Angel more than I have...

Carlos was standing right behind Katie, his hands moving in slow, rhythmic circles across her shoulders.

We were all trying our best to ignore the loud commotion happening down on the warm sand, the young master versus an entire army of local felines.

And also..

”I have not settled,” I snapped back, adjusting my glasses on my nose. ”There is a massive difference.”

”It has been four months now, and you two still have zero definition for your relationship?” Abigail chimed in without raising her head.

She was busy checking off items on her long clipboard, running through the endless arrangements she had already made for the event.

”Well, I do call her my girlfriend inside my mind,” I mumbled, feeling a sudden warmth creeping up my neck. ”But I don’t know if she actually does.”

”Oh, yes, Angel definitely calls you her girl,” Sabrina muttered from the floor, a playful grin tugging at her mouth. ”Just not friend.”

I snapped my head down toward her, trying desperately to control the deep, burning heat flushing across my face. ”She does?”

The words rushed out of my mouth before I could even filter them.

”Many times,” Carlos chimed in from behind Katie, listing the quotes off his fingers with a smirk. ”’My girl is so juicy,’ ’My girl called me Papi last night,’ ’My girl is so amazing in bed,’ ’My girl is such a quick learner.’”

Okay, now I was going to completely blow up right where I sat.

It was either going to be from pure shame or absolute excitement.

Angel actually thought about me all the time, just like I spent every waking hour thinking about her. Hearing them casually list off the exact way Angel bragged about me to her friends was completely wild.

”Don’t forget the classic one,” Sabrina added with a low chuckle. ”’My girl is horny only for me.’”

”Oh my gosh, April,” Katie squealed, leaning forward to tease me with a wide grin. ”You really hit the jackpot with her.”

”And you too,” Abigail said, finally raising her eyes from her clipboard to look at Katie. ”You hit two jackpots.”

”Of course I am the luckiest Omega in this entire district,” Katie giggled happily, reaching up to press a quick kiss against Carlos’s hand on her shoulder before blowing a theatrical kiss over to Sabrina.

Sabrina caught the imaginary kiss mid-air with a smooth hand and dramatically slapped it over her heart.

”Oh, lucky you,” Abigail sighed out, leaning her head back against the cushion with a tired groan. ”Only if my husband put me first before his endless work, then maybe I would be getting a proper massage too. Or a nice bath together in the sauna.”

Seeing how exhausted she looked, I stood up from my lounge chair, walked over behind her, and gently rested my hands on her tensed shoulders, digging my thumbs in to massage the tight muscles.

”Don’t worry,” I said softly. ”Your friend here will massage your body.”

”Aww, thank you, April,” Abigail groaned lazily, letting her head drop forward as her eyes closed in relief. ”This is really what I needed right now. After spending long months trying to prepare a massive anniversary party for your parents, I just sincerely hope they actually return this month so I don’t have to change the entire schedule again.”

Poor girl had been completely stressed out lately. Despite being visibly pregnant, she was still putting so much energy into organizing an anniversary event that should have taken place four months ago.

Those two parents really loved making endless excuses for not showing up on time. But as for me, I secretly wished they would just stay away forever.

I liked the exact way my life was right now.

While we were all busy talking and relaxing, the devil herself suddenly barged into the shade of the umbrella, looking completely frustrated while clutching her bloated cat tight against her chest.

”I swear to God I’m going to fucking put a bullet in the cat who did this to my little baby girl!” Angel yelled, slamming herself down hard into one of the empty woven chairs, her lips pulled into an aggressive pout. ”How dare he!”

Katie paused her fruit-chewing and blinked at her. ”Oh, Angel, are you really going to kill a poor cat because of that?”

”Yes!” Angel snapped back, her crimson eyes flashing with absolute rage. ”I won’t just kill the cat, I’ll put a bullet through its owner as well for not teaching it proper manners!”

”So what if Coco happens to be the one who, you know, went after the cat first?” Sabrina asked from the floor, raising an eyebrow at her.

”My Coco is a pure virgin!” Angel shouted defensively, pulling the cat closer to her chin like a protective shield. ”She doesn’t go there! I have had her for more than five years now, and she has never done anything like that! She is a celibate cat! Some dirty stray took complete advantage of my poor baby’s innocence!”

”Angel, her name is Coco Terror, as in completely crazy,” I said, laying down the plain facts while keeping my hands moving on Abigail’s shoulders. ”I don’t think any normal cat in this entire world could ever match her level of craziness. She clearly found herself a mate.”

”Yep, April is totally right,” Carlos chimed in, nodding along. ”No male cat in this district would ever dare try to take advantage of her.”

”She was definitely the one who took advantage of the poor cat,” Sabrina added with a smirk.

”So your virgin cat is not nearly as holy as you like to think,” Abigail said smoothly, opening one eye to join in on the teasing.

They were all laying it on thick, teasing the Alpha from every angle.

I looked directly at Angel’s face, catching the sudden shift in her expression. It was pure, unadulterated horror paired with wide-eyed, absolute disbelief.

”No...” Angel whispered, her jaw dropping open as the reality crashed down on her. ”Nooooo...”
