Falling For My Alpha Stepsister (GL)

April

Before Becca could even make it to the edge of Angel’s patio umbrella, my legs moved on their own. I crossed the short distance, turning and dropping right down onto Angel’s lap, wrapping both my arms tightly around her shoulders.

My uniform, my manager, my shift, I completely forgot I was on duty. All I knew was that I was sitting on her, holding her close, and marking my territory right in front of everyone.

In front of her past flings..

”Angel, it has been such a long time since your last visit, baby I miss your touch.....” Becca said the second her heels came to a stop beside our table.

I turned my head slightly to scan her appearance, taking in every single detail. What she was wearing was definitely not her usual casual clothing.

And since when did she start walking around in high heels?

She was clearly trying to seduce my bae right here in broad daylight.

Not on my watch...

I wasn’t about to let Angel even get a glimpse of her.

I reached up with one hand, slapping my palm over Angel’s eyes to block her vision completely. Angel tried to resist, her head shifting as she attempted to pull away, but I pressed my hand down firmer, locking her view in total darkness.

My eyes flashed over to the twins, who were sitting across from us with their hands slapped over their mouths, doing a terrible job of hiding their sudden laughter.

”What kind of visit are you talking about?” I demanded, my voice turning sharp as I stared Becca down.

Becca rolled her eyes, completely ignoring my question as she tried to force her way into Angel’s attention. She lifted a hand and knocked her long fingernails hard against the tabletop.

”Baby, what is happening right now, and why is this bitch sitting on your lap?”

”Umm, Becca, you should really go...” Angel’s muffled voice came from beneath my hand.

I hadn’t moved my palm off her face for a single second.

”What do you mean I should leave?” Becca raised her voice, her knuckles going white as she gripped the back of a chair. ”Angel, I’m fucking talking to you!”

”Girl, I am sure you are not deaf,” I said, glaring straight into her eyes without flinching. ”She told you to leave. Fuck off...”

”Ohhhhhhhhh... Abigail should really be here to see this... This is a soap opera...” Carlos muttered from the side.

I caught the metallic glare of his phone screen out of the corner of my eye. He was actively recording the whole entire scene.

Becca took a step closer, her face twisting in pure disgust. ”Are you not even ashamed of yourself? Playing around the district with the Master’s daughter... and she’s your step-sister. You are absolute trash. You are disgusting.”

Angel shifted beneath me, her jaw working as if she was going to say something to shut her up, but I beat her to it.

”Do you really want to see disgusting?” I asked, my voice dropping low.

Right in front of that stupid bitch, I leaned down and brought my lips straight onto Angel’s.

I kissed her deeply, giving her a front-row show of what she wanted to call disgusting.

From day one, that whole step-sister label was never meant for me and Angel. She never accepted me as a sibling in the first place, no matter how hard I had tried back then to see her as one.

But what can I really say now? The universe clearly had completely different plans for the two of us.

Our parents might be married to each other, but there isn’t a drop of shared blood running through our veins.

We are not related.

So fuck it. I have already accepted every single harsh word my mom is going to throw at my head when she finds out.

I don’t even know what Angel’s mother is going to say when the truth breaks out either. But honestly, I don’t give a single fuck anymore.

Angel is not my step-sister. She is my lover, the person I am falling deeper for every single day.

”Angel and April, sitting on the chair, K-I-S-S-I-N-G...” the twins started chanting in unison, clapping their hands together softly like two energetic little kids.

They were always finding fun in literally everything.

I wish I could have seen the hoe’s face right at that moment while I was kissing Angel, but my whole mind was way too focused on the press of her soft lips to even bother looking away.

A sudden, violent bang echoed across the patio as Becca slammed her hand down onto the table hard enough to shake the glasses.

”You bitch!” she spat, her voice shaking with rage as she pointed a finger right at my face. ”You think this is over? Angel always comes running back to me. She will be back! This won’t even last! Only I know what Angel really needs, and I have it right here. Angel, baby... if you need it, you already know where I stay. You can come and get it anytime you want.... Arghh! You, April... I fucking hate you!”

With those last bitter words spitting out of her mouth, she turned on her heel and finally stormed off down the sidewalk, her high heels clicking loudly against the concrete until she disappeared around the corner.

I slowly pulled my face away from Angel’s, my pulse racing fast against my ribs. I stared down into her wide crimson eyes, my breath coming out heavy and hot between us.

”If you ever fucking go find her,” I whispered, my voice dripping with pure, dark poison, ”for any fucking weed or any of those craps... Angel Morningstar, I swear to God I will kill you, and then right after that, I will kill myself. Do you hear me?”

Angel stared up at me, her cheeks flushing red, and nodded her head repeatedly without saying a single word. She looked just like a frightened, obedient child caught doing something wrong.

Good... She should be...

I really, truly meant every single word I just said to her. I wasn’t capping at all. There are so many things I have never done for anyone else in my entire life, but I did them all for her.

Angel Morningstar belongs to me now.

If she is not mine and mine only, then absolutely no one else on this earth will ever have her.

SHE IS MINE.

I cleared my throat, smoothed down the front of my wrinkled work dress, and finally stood up off her lap.

”Okay,” I said, my voice returning to a calm, completely normal tone as I turned back toward the store glass door.

”I will go get your whipped cream coffee now.”
