Naruto: Naraku Grows Stronger as a Beautiful, Tragic Side Character

Chapter 271: Chapter 271: Jin: Want to know? Beg me~

After annihilating Hanzou and his Anbu, Nagato decisively dealt with several high-ranking officials and Ninja clans fiercely loyal to Hanzou, completing the purge before dawn.

At dawn, the Akatsuki Organization officially took over the entire Hidden Rain Village.

Anyone who dared to resist was firmly suppressed by the Six Paths of Pain. The tragic fates of several initial challengers greatly shocked the Hidden Rain Ninja.

Konan, as previously agreed, used her Paper Ninjutsu to distribute flyers and dispatched Akatsuki members into the streets and alleys to appease the ordinary residents as much as possible.

With this two-pronged approach, most Ninja and civilians, realizing the tide had turned, ceased resisting and temporarily accepted Akatsuki’s rule. Only a few remained dissatisfied, but they showed no outward signs, instead planning to secretly conspire and gather strength...

Nagato sat in his office, rapidly reading through piles of documents, occasionally summoning a subordinate to assign urgent tasks, too busy to even drink water.

If not for the Human Path having read the memories of Hanzou and the Hidden Rain Anbu commander, he would have struggled to take over these duties so quickly.

In particular, many of the documents contained encrypted codes; without knowing how to decipher them, they would be incomprehensible. Just those encrypted files alone would have been a headache for quite some time.

”Congratulations, Nagato~”

Jin appeared in the office, tilting his head to glance at the stack of documents nearly as tall as a person beside him, and said cheerfully, ”The Akatsuki’s survival problem has already taken its first step~”

Nagato slumped onto the pile of papers, covering his head with a file folder. ”Only the first step...?”

”That’s right, look~”

Jin ticked off points on his fingers, calculating the issues one by one, with a hint of schadenfreude.

”There are people in Hidden Rain Village secretly plotting to kill you, how Hidden Rain can survive in the cracks between the four great nations of Fire, Earth, Wind, and Lightning, and also the Akatsuki must expand its personnel...”

”Alright, Jin, I know.” Nagato quickly raised his hands in surrender, interrupting him, and sought help from his clearly more experienced guide: ”You must have a solution, right?”

”Well, I suppose so~?”

Jin walked lightly to the side of the desk, placing his right hand on Nagato’s shoulder to replenish his Chakra.

Soon, Nagato’s face, which had been gaunt and pale from summoning the Gedo Statue, became rosy and visibly plumped up, and his overall mental state was refreshed.

While Nagato was touching his face, marveling at the wonders of Medical Ninjutsu, Jin stood with his hands behind his back, playing hopscotch among the various document piles, and expounding on his thoughts as an ”experienced one.”

”The most important thing now is to eliminate the panic within Hidden Rain Village and maintain stability. So, you must tell everyone—the Akatsuki Organization is a true hero, and Hanzou has committed numerous atrocities over the years and should have been overthrown long ago.”

”Once Konan’s Paper Ninjutsu carries text and images, it will become the sharpest weapon. Confused people will learn from it what the truth is and what can be called justice.”

”Moving forward, whether Ninja or civilian, as long as they live better than they did under Hanzou, you need not worry about internal troubles.”

”As for the major nations, there’s no need to fear them. The intensity of this Ninja World War far surpasses previous ones, and all belligerents will surely be severely weakened, lacking the strength to deal with Amegakure for at least five years.”

”You can seize this opportunity to recuperate, secretly expand the organization, and then control the entire Land of Rain.”

”The entire Land of Rain?” Nagato frowned slightly. ”With the Daimyo obstructing, this step will take a lot of time.”

”What is a Daimyo? Kill him and make him a puppet.”

When mentioning the noble-blooded ruler, Jin showed no respect, instead scoffing at him.

”Nagato, do you think you need permission from others to reshape the Ninja World? If that’s truly the case, you might as well just slit your throat; don’t waste my time looking for the next Sage reincarnation.”

--That’s right, I’m going to be a god who suppresses the world, so what do I care about Daimyo or not?

--Just eliminate anyone who stands in my way.

Nagato felt as if a light bulb had gone off, and he suddenly felt enlightened: ”I understand.”

”That’s more like it.” Jin touched his mask with satisfaction, saying, ”I’ll be leaving for a while. Don’t die before I get back~”

...Black Zetsu moved swiftly underground, not understanding why Jin would abandon Nagato, who had just gotten on track, and have White Zetsu take him back to Konoha to see Uchiha Naraku.

Seeing that they were almost there, it simply gave up thinking.

In any case, it would be able to see firsthand what Jin intended to do to Uchiha Naraku.

It lurked in the corner, watching Jin detach from White Zetsu, seemingly in good spirits, walk up to Uchiha Naraku, and casually sweep aside the drafts that he had put so much effort into. The papers scattered with a rustle in the air, drifting down to cover the floor.

”Ah, I didn’t do it on purpose~”

Uchiha Naraku didn’t get angry, his lips slightly pale, he submissively bent down to pick them up, only for Jin to step on a paper he had just reached for on the ground.

”My apologies~ I originally intended to help you pick them up.”

Jin smiled, pressing down with his foot, leaving dusty, muddy shoe prints on the paper, and looked down at Naraku with a playful gaze. Finding that he still wasn’t angry, Jin rolled his eyes, feeling bored, and let out a sound of disdain.

”Tsk!”

Black Zetsu, eavesdropping from the side, was speechless.

--How much does this little brat hate his main personality?

--Could he have traveled all this way back just to bully Uchiha Naraku?

--Look, using the same face, how can he make such a cruel expression?

Jin mercifully stepped back a few paces, crossing his arms and looking down at his main personality, who continued to pick up the drafts, with a half-smile: ”You’re quite leisurely, Uchiha Naraku~? Unfortunately, Konoha will soon cease to exist.”

Upon hearing this, Naraku finally reacted, raising his head to meet Jin’s gaze.

Jin raised an eyebrow: ”Want to know what’s going on? Beg me~”

Naraku’s lips trembled and he froze in place. After a long hesitation, he finally succumbed to his sub-personality, lowering his head and speaking softly in a hoarse voice.

”I beg you, Jin, tell me.”

After an eerie silence, Jin smiled playfully, then turned and walked to the sofa by the wall, sitting down.

”It’s nothing, really~” He crossed his legs and draped his arm over the backrest. ”It’s just that Sunagakure’s vanguard is about to invade Konoha, that’s all. Who told these useless Konoha Ninja that their defenses weren’t strong enough~”

The draft papers in Naraku’s hand scattered again, but this time he didn’t pick them up; he had already vanished from the room before the first sheet hit the floor.

Black Zetsu slowly emerged from the corner, asking in confusion, ”Why tell him this specifically? It doesn’t benefit us.”

”Of course, it’s to watch Uchiha Naraku actively seek death.”

Jin flashed a malicious smile, looking at the hands of his clone: ”Once he’s dragged down by the bloodline limit sickness until his consciousness dissipates, that body will be completely mine.”
