Naruto: Naraku Grows Stronger as a Beautiful, Tragic Side Character

Chapter 150: Chapter 150 Every day, I am really worried

Night fell, and a mournful melody wrapped around Kana as she walked numbly, step by step, through the streets.

She held her forehead protector to her chest with both hands, but the cold, hard metal offered no comfort; instead, it made her realize the truth more clearly—this fragment was all that Naraku had left behind in this world.

There were no cries in the scene, or rather, she was using all her strength just to maintain consciousness at this moment, too exhausted to cry.

[How long must this journey be?]

[It’s too real; people don’t immediately cry when something sudden happens.]

[Does Kana now hallucinate herself, just like before, clinging to Naraku’s thin but resilient back?]

[Friend, are you going to kill me?]

Meanwhile, Uchiha Fugaku, the Uchiha Clan Head and The Police Force captain, had already received the notification of Naraku’s death from the Hokage Building; he stood at his doorstep for a long time, clutching the paper.

Several scenes flashed back in the picture: long silences after two late-night talks, arguing with every elder at the clan meeting, receipts for Hospital payments, a helpless yet relieved sigh after his wife threw out his luggage, and the cold expression at dinner that occasionally revealed a hint of care... Uchiha Fugaku had always thought highly of Naraku, everything about him—his talent, intelligence, and loyalty to the clan—he held infinite hopes for him.

Later, this hope gradually evolved into the care of an elder for a junior.

Even when he learned that Naraku had the bloodline limit sickness, he never thought of abandoning treatment; instead, he continuously provided medical expenses using clan funds.

If he hadn’t cared for Naraku and held expectations for his future recovery, how could a dignified Clan Head be so easily packed up and thrown out of his home by his wife?

Moreover, during the period after he was allowed to return home, the three of them were harmonious and truly felt like a complete family.

[Marararara, Mikoto is still pregnant; this is truly terrible news.]

[They should keep it a secret for now, right?]

[So Fugaku really did a lot; I’m crying.]

[The ancestral reserved personality; it seems every Uchiha has a bit of it.]

[Fugaku really liked Naraku, didn’t he? As an elder.]

[When he called off The Police Force’s pursuit, it was also out of necessity.]

[Perhaps Fugaku couldn’t withstand the pressure from Konoha’s higher-ups, but he was very good to Naraku; that’s undeniable.]

[Indeed.]

Fugaku took a deep breath, folded the paper, tucked it into his embrace, and turned to walk quickly back to the Uchiha Police Force building.

”Send Fūyō and Entō to my office.”

No one nearby responded, and his figure gradually receded, but the audience knew this order would soon reach the two of them.

[Man up, Fugaku!]

[Fugaku, how did you suddenly become so much more handsome!]

[Even if Fugaku’s intuition was bad, he’d at least sense something was wrong, right?]

[Danzo really treats people like fools.]

[Danzo doesn’t treat people like fools; he’s completely fearless, treating the Uchiha like clay figures to mold!]

[The Uchiha must find out the truth! They must have revenge!]

[No matter what the Uchiha do, we Naraku fans will definitely support them!]

Urgent, continuous, yet light footsteps entered the genkan, echoing all the way to the living room and storage room.

There were also hushed whispers from a man and woman, deliberately lowered as if afraid of disturbing someone.

The camera showed the man’s full face, and the audience recognized him as Uchiha Shisui’s father, Uchiha Entō.

He had just returned home from The Police Force building, and despite it being late at night, he immediately began to pack his gear, setting off that very night to complete the task assigned by the Clan Head.

His wife, Uchiha Shiun, was also awake, following him and helping, softly asking what had happened that couldn’t wait until after midnight.

Entō’s movements stiffened for a moment; he frowned and pondered for a few seconds before finally revealing everything to his wife.

”...But no body was found.”

”So the Clan Head ordered Fūyō and me to search that location; we might find some clues.”

”Moreover, as fellow Uchiha, we can see more clearly what exactly happened there.”

[Shisui’s father seems reliable.]

[You must find out the truth and let Naraku rest in peace, ahhh!]

[And Fūyō, too! We’re counting on you guys, boohoohoohoo!]

[Fūyō, do you know? Naraku truly didn’t give up on himself, but he was abandoned by Konoha.]

[I keep saying not to hide killer moves in the comments; I’ll just die on my own.]

Letting Shiun help tie his wristbands tightly, Entō leaned his head closer while his wife was busy, carefully telling her,

”Keep a close eye on Shisui these next two days. That kid is always saying ’Naraku-senpai, Naraku-senpai’; I’m afraid he won’t be able to handle it.”

”Mhm, okay, I understand.”

Shiun’s expression had been sorrowful since he began speaking, and now her eyes were filled with tears.

”That child isn’t even ten yet... I saw him from afar once; he really was a very good child.”

”Sigh...” Entō also looked pained. ”We’ll get everything sorted out.”

[Mom is so gentle, caring so much even after only meeting him once.]

[Naraku’s mother must have loved him very much too.]

[Now Naraku and his mother are reunited; they must have endless things to talk about.]

[Boohoohoohoohoohoo o(╥﹏╥)o]

Shiun wanted to say something more, but just as she was about to speak, a familiar Chakra fluctuation came from behind her.

Both husband and wife were Uchiha, and they were all too familiar with this type of fluctuation.

It was the spiritual tremor that only occurred when an Uchiha Clan member awakened their Sharingan.

”Shisui?!”

Entō quickly turned and pulled the door wide open, indeed finding his son behind it.

Tears streamed down his small face, and his normally lively and expressive eyes were now blood-red.

[Something’s happening!!]

[It’s over—]

[Holy crap!!! Holy crap!!!]

[Shisui awakened his Sharingan!!]

[Awakening his Sharingan from the news of his idol’s death will be a lifelong pain for Shisui.]

[Help me, I’m really going crazy.]

[Why are all the Uchiha so miserable, ahhh!]

—

Now Naraku understood why the animator gave Shisui two full episodes from his perspective; it was probably seeing this point that they decided to release Shisui and his interactions first.

This way, they could capitalize on his death and then naturally introduce a new genius Uchiha.

—Awakening his Sharingan at such a young age, Shisui wouldn’t also get the bloodline limit sickness, would he?

Naraku called the system, asking it to add another item to his memo, ”Things to Do When Returning to Konoha”: ”Check Uchiha Shisui’s body to prevent bloodline limit sickness.”

Every day, it was truly a lot to worry about.

Sigh...
