He’s on the Jonin list that flashed by in episode 34!!

Shimura Rō!

His surname is Shimura!!!

Danzo Shimura, I * * *!!!

Comment 1: I knew it was this * * * thing causing trouble! Ahhhhh I’m going to kill him!!

Comment 2: Help, did this guy wake up? Is he like a cockroach? How can he be so tenacious!

Comment 3: The moment I saw the image, my brain buzzed as if blood had rushed to my head...

Comment 4: I can attest, I showed this picture to a friend, and his face turned completely red within three seconds. [Image]

Comment 56: Latest news, Danzo Shimura has topped the list of most hated anime characters! Naraku’s fans are even paying to vote for him... (laughing and crying.jpg)

Comment 74: The very latest news! Some big shots collaborated and spent three days animating Naraku’s counter-kill of Danzo Shimura! Everyone go watch it! [Link]

... @ Drawing a Knife to Drown Sorrows, But Sorrows Flow On: I hope everyone doesn’t curse Danzo, after all, everything he did was for Konoha... So I suggest we just blow up Konoha!

Comment 1: When Hashirama established Konoha, did he ever think that in just a few decades, the entire great tree would rot?

Comment 2: If he knew all this, he would definitely kill Danzo. Do you think Hashirama is some kind of a saint?

Comment 23: Heavens, are there any good people left in Konoha’s higher-ups TAT...

Comment 24: I’d rather Sakumo had led the Uchiha to start anew back then. How can a Ninja Village thrive with such a group of insects!

... @ Yan Ruheyi: Naraku’s fan-made reaction compilation of streamers breaking down, [Link]. This playlist is getting more and more videos, all thanks to The Old Thief, good, good, hahahahahaha (maniacal laughter.jpg)

Comment 1: I don’t dare to watch it at all. Every video makes me cry with the streamer again. My eyes are almost blind.

Comment 2: It’ll be fine once you’re numb to crying.

Comment 3: I can’t sleep every night, and I shed tears whenever I think of Susanoo’s roar...

@ Cherry Anko: Sign-up for the team to assassinate The Old Thief → (Likes: 44,000)

Comment 1: I’ll go scout ahead first!

Comment 2: The forum’s rich kid is still offering a reward! He’s increased it to 100,000!

Comment 3: Does no one really know where The Old Thief lives? I’m quite short on money lately (´•ω•̥`)

Comment 4: +1

Comment 10: +10089

Many other comments made Naraku dizzy, but there wasn’t much time left. He couldn’t read them all one by one, so he opened the last episode, deciding to pretend to sleep after finishing it.

---

The setting sun was like blood.

A pair of muddy, worn-out shoes stepped through Konoha’s main gate.

The camera panned up, and the person gradually appeared in full view.

It was Might Duy.

However, his jumpsuit was tattered and covered in mud and dust, and he gazed with tired eyes towards the end of the road.

There stood the majestic Hokage Building, silently watched by the three Hokage Rock sculptures not far away, bathed in the orange-red glow of the evening sunset.

The last glimpse he had of Naraku flashed before his eyes again.

That corner of his clothing... stained with blood... The captain, who had survived the collapse, had already handed over the mission objective to the Yumoku Clan and returned to the village with Zuotang.

Only he stubbornly stayed there, searching for two days and two nights.

Even though he searched tirelessly, he only found the forehead protector, full of scars and blood, on a sharp rock at the bottom of the cliff.

-- Naraku...

-- If only... He involuntarily clutched the forehead protector, gritting his teeth and trying to calm himself down, continuing towards the Hokage Building.

[Uncle Dai did his best...]

[Is Naraku completely gone?]

[He’s definitely not dead. As long as there’s no body, he’s still alive, wuwuwuwu]

[Uncle Dai will never forget that look... a nightmare]

[Just a little bit, just a little bit! Ahhhhh!]

[Jiraiya’s words are still gaining weight]

The camera moved to the Hokage Office. Might Duy stood with his head bowed in front of the desk, and Hiruzen Sarutobi sat in his chair, puffing on his pipe.

”Is that truly the case?”

”Yes, Hokage-sama,” Might Duy tried to answer as smoothly as possible, but the painful emotions made him pause several times, ”Uchi... Uchiha Naraku, he was... severely wounded and fell off a cliff during a battle with the enemy... his body was never found.”

”Alright, I will arrange the rest of the matters.”

Hiruzen Sarutobi’s tone was sorrowful, whether genuine or feigned: ”Losing such an excellent junior is something no Konoha person wishes to see.”

”But as Ninja, we all anticipate that this day will come. Uchiha Naraku, he must have been prepared for it in his heart as well.”

”Don’t be too sad, Dai. Go back and rest for a few days. You’ve worked hard this time.”

Might Duy bowed slightly and turned to leave the office.

[Uncle really said it while enduring his heartache]

[If Hiruzen Sarutobi can’t see anything fishy, I’ll shave my head while standing on my head!]

[But according to Hiruzen’s personality, since things are already like this, he won’t deal with Danzo]

[I really want to drag Tobirama from the Second Ninja World War to see, this is the Hokage you chose!]

[Hashirama, please open your eyes and see what Konoha has become!]

As he reached the first-floor lobby, he bumped into a red-haired girl who seemed to have been waiting there for a long time, just to meet him.

”Are you Senior Dai?” The girl quickly stepped forward, her voice urgent. ”Senior, why didn’t Naraku come back? I heard he went on a mission with you before...”

-- It’s Naraku’s friend... Might Duy’s heart ached. He pulled out the carefully preserved keepsake from his bag and silently held it out.

The girl noticed his movement and instinctively lowered her head, seeing the forehead protector in his hand.

She froze in place, then suddenly gasped a few times as if struggling to breathe, looking up at Might Duy with an incredulous gaze, praying that his next words wouldn’t be what she feared.

Might Duy’s hoarse voice clearly contained a sob, and his other large hand rose to cover the upper half of his face.

”I’m sorry... I only found this.”

[Ahhhhhh Kana has been following Naraku’s news... o(╥﹏╥)o]

[Knowing Naraku is gone, how sad Kana must be!]

[The young man who cared for her and saved her from the abyss is gone forever.]

[Uncle cried, and I cried too, wuwuwuwu...]

[I can’t hold it in anymore, wuwuwuwu]

Kana numbly reached out and took it. The moment its weight fell into her palm, she almost couldn’t hold it, hurriedly using some strength to prevent it from slipping from her hand.

The damaged edge of the forehead protector was unusually sharp, cutting her fingertip and drawing a few drops of blood. It stained the cold metal, flowing into the grooves of the Konoha symbol, gradually soaking it a dark red.

[For Kana, the light that illuminated her darkness has vanished.]

[She didn’t even get to see Naraku one last time before he left, neither Kana nor Kakashi.]

[It makes me so incredibly sad...]

[I cried for a week, now it’s another week.]

[Konoha, watered by blood, how ironic.]
