Chapter 1035: Do you think my mother is a joke?

”Mother I wanted to see you, yet you are here doing all the hard work by yourself,by the way Jasmine is also here, waiting for you in your personal room. Why don’t you go and see her? I will join you soon.” Yohan gently placed his hand on Alena’s shoulder. He could see the nervousness in Alena’s eyes seeing him all the way here to her manor.

The elders were taken aback and exchanged glances upon hearing Yohan’s words. They were simply here to see Alena, the matriarch of the Lin clan, and had no intention of getting involved with Yohan, they knew he is someone that they can’t handle.

”I think we should come back later...” one of the old men exclaimed in a nervous tone clearly wanted to leave the place as soon as possible.

”Indeed, Lady Alena should spend some time with Young Master Yohan,we will come back later!” another old man spoke up, forcing a smile onto his wrinkled face.

Alena was about to dismiss them. After all, there was no point in having any discussion with these old coots; they were simply pawns, controlled by the six Great Elders of the clan, they were simply here to look down on her.

”You guys are not going anywhere!.” Before Alena could dismiss them and those elders left the place, Yohan’s cold voice echoed inside the matriarchal hall, taking everyone by surprise. The elders’ faces turned pale and their bodies went stiff as they looked at Yohan in horror, they didn’t understand why this young master stopping them from leaving.

”Yohan...” Alena wanted to say something, but Yohan placed his palm over her lips, gently stopping her,she was taken aback with surprise even the elders watched with gawking expressions.

”Jasmine is waiting for you. And one more thing—I am going to eat dinner with you, so why don’t you make something good for me like old time?” Yohan said, looking at Alena with a gentle smile. Seeing that warmth yet gentle look in his eyes Alena turned silent, she understood there was no point in trying to stop him.

”Okay, I’ll see you at the dinner!” She lightly touched his cheek with a smile and the next moment she left the matriarchal hall. She didn’t pay any further attention to these old men’s; their fates were now entirely in Yohan’s hands. The elders watched Alena’s departing figure, all of them desperately wanted to call her out, but alas under Yohan’s piercing gaze, no one dared to make a sound. It was as if they had all lost their voices, unable to even move their limbs under the heavy pressure crushing down on them.

Once Alena left Yohan simply waved his hand, the heavy doors of the matriarchal hall slammed shut from the inside. The grand sofa where the elders had been sitting slid backward, stopping at the very edge of the hall. Only Yohan remained in the center, sitting with crossed legs, staring at the six figures standing before him. They looked as if they had seen a ghost, their faces completely dark with dread.

”You bastard, do you think my mother is a joke?” Yohan finally broke the silence. His eyes were cold, filled with an intense, suffocating killing intent directed to one of the elders.

The elders were taken aback, failing to grasp the true meaning behind his words. But the next moment, all of them fell to their knees in unison as a crushing force slammed down on their bodies. They looked up at Yohan in absolute horror.

”Young Master Yohan...what do you think you are doing?” one of the old men tried to speak, but before he could utter another word, his entire body exploded. He died instantly, leaving the others terrified. The sheer weight of the crushing force had obliterated him.

This was the very man who had tried to threaten Alena with his words, claiming that the six great factions holds great power inside the clan and they were displeased with Yohan’s doing,if she didn’t stopped his wrongdoing then they might have to take action against him.

The surviving elders immediately understood the reason behind their companion’s brutal demise. He was the representative of the administration faction, and Yohan had executed him on the spot for disrespecting the matriarch.

”You, old man. Tell me, do you think I am a joke to you?” Yohan asked again. This time, his gaze locked onto a bald elder who was sweating like a pig. The remaining four elders felt a temporary wave of relief in their hearts, glad that his terrifying attention was now focused entirely on the representative of the alchemy faction.

”Young Master... I wouldn’t dare...” the bald man spoke in a trembling voice. He was thoroughly horrified by the sudden death of his fellow elder, who had openly opposed Yohan’s official coronation as the next lord of the clan.

The bald elder inwardly cursed himself for getting involved in this situation. This was his first time seeing Yohan in person, and he feared it might be his last. How could he have forgotten who this man was? Yohan was the monster who had annihilated the Nichole clan and slaughtered the elder of the Xian clan in cold blood. The elders had grown cocky, assuming that because they belonged to the same clan, Yohan would never dare to harm his own people. They were dead wrong. The young master didn’t give a flying fuck whether they lived or died; it was written clearly in his cold eyes. He intended to kill them all.

”My Lord, please spare my life! I am merely a representative, a pawn controlled by the High Elder of the alchemy faction,” the bald man pleaded, begging Yohan for mercy.

Instead, his body was lifted into the air by an unseen force and pulled directly toward Yohan. Yohan reached out and grabbed the old man tightly by the neck.

”Don’t worry. After cleaning up the trash here, I intend to pay a personal visit to every single High Elder. From this very moment, the six great factions will cease to exist,” Yohan declared, staring directly into the old man’s terrified eyes.

The remaining elders gasped in disbelief. They couldn’t believe their ears. Not only was Yohan determined to execute the representatives in this room, but he intended to wipe out every single elder belonging to the six factions.

”Do you intend to destroy the very core of the Lin clan? How could you be so cold?” the bald elder choked out, his mind unable to process the sheer weight of Yohan’s words.

”I have no use for rotten trash inside this clan. Under my rule, I will establish a new order that follows my absolute will. From today onward, my partners are going to become the new core of this clan,” Yohan replied, a cold smile playing on his lips.

The old man gasped for air, terrified by Yohan’s grand, ruthless ambition. This young master was nothing like his predecessors. His grandfather, Elder Su Wan Lin, had been a kind ruler. His father, Su Lin, was an arrogant man, but even he would never go to such lengths to slaughter his own clansmen.

”You... demon...” the bald man cursed, realizing there was no hope of leaving this room alive.

”Indeed, I am no saint.”

With those final words, Yohan snapped the elder’s neck with a sharp crack, tossing his lifeless body onto the floor right in front of the remaining four.
