Chapter 577 Is he lady Evelynʼs disciple?

”Lady kana, I want to see lady Evelyn for one last time before leaving” Cathrine insisted as she looked at kana with a pleading gaze, she wanted to know why lady Evelyn stop in the middle of the Conversation when she was talking about her mother, it doesnʼt make any sense to her and that gesture left her in a daze.

Cathrine was barely teen when she lost her mother and in her last time when she was on her death bead her mother stopped talking or seeing anyone because of her mysterious a disease that could be dangerous to others if they expose to it, no one was allowed to talk or see her even her own children and Cathrine were not special as she also prohibited to see her own mother, only king and the court healer are allowed to see the queen in her last time and even after her death she canʼt able to see the face of her mother, her mother left her vulnerable afterall she was everything to her.

But hearing that her mother made some bad choices in her life that cost her greatly Was not making any sense to her, she wanted to know what lady Evelyn mean when she said those words to her, she knew that her mother was close to lady Evelyn when she was alive, thatʼs the reason why Cathrine was happy knowing that lady Evelyn still remember her mother, but now she felt there are more to it and lady Evelyn knows something that she donʼt knows.

Kana took a deep sigh as she saw those expressions on Catherineʼs face and she felt kinda bad for her but alas there are nothing she could do at this very moment knowing her master went inside the elderʼs hall, she was not aware what is going inside the hall, but she knows there is something that yohan was up to and more likely he is taking her masters to help, kana took a deep sigh and she looked at Cathrine who was waiting for her response.

”She is inside the elderʼs hall and I am not sure when she is going to leave that place, itʼs up to my master, and no one is allowed to disturb her not even me when she goes inside that place until in some kind of emergency, I know what are you thinking but I canʼt help you at this very moment, you have to understand that my master donʼt like it if anyone interferes with her when she was doing something important, itʼs better if you return to your capital and donʼt come back to this place,” kana responded to Cathrine in a calm manner.

”I canʼt do that not until I get my answers, I need to ask her something related to my mother, this is important for me, you also noticed, donʼt you lady kana, the way she stopped in midway talking about my mother?”Cathrine asked as she looked at kana in anticipation.

”Noticed what?” Kana denied and tried to act as if she didnʼt notice anything.

”Hesitation when she was talking about my mother, it feels like she wanted to say something but stopped midway,” Cathrine retaliates and tries to push kana on the edge with her words.

”There are lots of things going on lately, I donʼt know what are you talking about, I didnʼt notice anything,” kana said in a serious manner but alas it was full fledge lie, she knew her master was carried away when she was talking about Catherineʼs late mother, few weeks before her death, the queen came here to meet lady Evelyn and she had a long-lasting conversation with her master that she know nothing about of what kind of the conversation they had with each other, lady Evelyn never told anything to her and nor she donʼt even bother to ask, itʼs been too many years since that event happened more likely twenty years when the queen died.

Seeing kana in a daze, Cathrine took a step and looked into kanaʼs eyes.

”I donʼt believe you lady kana, I am not an immature nor the idiot who canʼt even understand the meaning behind her words, my mother always told me about lady Evelyn, she always sounds like she was close to her but when my mother died, lady Evelyn never came to see her not even in her last rites, this is why I was happy earlier knowing that she still remembers my mother even after these many years later,” Cathrine said to kana.

Kana snapped out of her daze and she looked at Cathrine who was looking at her with a different gaze, somewhat she dont feel irritated or angry at her.

”You are very persistent donʼt you princess, well I donʼt know about anything the reason behind my masterʼs words, but if you are keen to ask my master about your mother then you have to wait until she left the elderʼs hall, that means you are stuck here with me for a while, make it yourself comfortable here and if you want to leave then you are free to go, itʼs up to you, just like my master said you are free word but remember if you decided to stay here donʼt make the mistake going inside the elderʼs hall, it doesnʼt matter who you are no one is allowed to disturb my master, that includes you” kana responded to Cathrine and explain her few rules related to this mansion, and at the same time she also felt relieved knowing that she wanted to stay here, that way she can keep her promise to yohan.

Catherine took a deep sigh and nodded her head and she understood her situation, but there was something bothering her and it was related to yohan, suddenly a thought flashed into her head and she looked at kana.

”Is he lady Evelynʼs disciple, if he is then it explains a lot of things and about his growth, no wonder he is such a skilled cultivator and now i understand how he is able to kill those many people with ease” Cathrine looked at kana and she asked about yohan.
