Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 3150: Chapter 3148: Take Them for Dongfang Li to Watch Over

”Sister-in-law, could I trouble you to watch the two kids for a day? I’ll come pick them up after work.” Chu Molin had originally thought of leaving them here and not taking them along, but then he remembered that once he got there, Dongfang Li would still have the little one with her, and that really wouldn’t be very convenient.

But the kids wanted to come and play with Nannan, so he brought them over. Just troubling her for one day was enough; once he got off work he would come and take them home.

”Go take care of your work, they can just stay here with me, it’s fine, as long as they don’t run off outside.” Only kids like this could be managed by her; otherwise, once they went out, it wouldn’t be easy for her to carry the little one and go running around looking for them.

”Auntie, don’t worry, we won’t go out, and we’ll behave ourselves.” Yu Ze promised.

If it weren’t for his younger brother wanting to come, he would have preferred staying at home. At home he could do whatever he wanted; once he came out, it really wasn’t very convenient for him to get things done.

No matter what kind of situation it was, he felt this was already very good, because there was a place for them to stay, and that way his father didn’t have to worry too much about them.

And at this moment, what they were thinking about was putting their father’s mind at ease, and not thinking too much about anything else.

”Mm, you’re both good kids. Go on in and play with Nannan, he’s inside reading.” Dongfang Li truly felt her son was so obedient and sensible that she hardly needed to worry about anything; he would just take care of things on his own.

In circumstances like this, whatever he did, he always had his own self-discipline, so she didn’t need to worry.

Because her life had changed, she was living very well now, so to her, this happiness was something she’d never dared to imagine before.

So Dongfang Li was truly very grateful for the help Qin Xue and the others had given her during that period of time.

The days she had now were something she felt she had picked up by luck; if back then she hadn’t met Qin Xue and her family, if she hadn’t come back with them, she wouldn’t have these good days now.

So in Dongfang Li’s heart she was full of gratitude toward them. And now that she knew even more clearly that they were one family, anything she could help with, she would definitely help. It was just that, as a woman raising a child on her own, wanting to keep an eye on them and still be running around everywhere really wasn’t easy.

That was why she had talked everything through in advance; otherwise she really wouldn’t have known how to manage them. If anything happened, she wouldn’t be able to give Mr. Xie and Chu Molin an explanation. Laying everything out clearly beforehand was the outcome she wanted.

”Alright, then I’ll trouble you with this. I’m heading to work.” Chu Molin was never very talkative; bringing the children here was already his own personal wish. Now that she’d agreed, what complaints could he possibly have? There were none.

”Kids, come on, go inside and play with Nannan. I’ll close up out here.” There was no one to help Dongfang Li here, because Jin Yufeng had said they needed to pay extra attention to safety, so she could only look after them herself.

She really didn’t want anything to happen to them; if something did, she, as a woman, wouldn’t be able to protect them.

”Okay, thank you, Auntie.” Yu Ze nodded.

For him, coming here this morning was mainly to keep an eye on his little brother; he really didn’t want to trouble anyone with anything else.

Sensible children are always the ones people like best, and the two kids of The Chus were both very well-behaved and obedient. So Dongfang Li had always been very fond of them; she just hadn’t expected that in the end they would turn out to be family. No wonder that when she saw them, she hadn’t felt at all afraid that they might be bad people.

Whereas with other people, she would always have some guardedness in her heart; but with Qin Xue’s family, she didn’t feel any sense of unfamiliarity at all. Otherwise, how would she have gone home with them, and even worked in their home?
