Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 3157: Chapter 3155: Told Them

Qin Yu understood clearly, but now, what was once enviable is now a deadly blow.

So, it’s not that he doesn’t want his brother-in-law to find his sister, but he’s afraid that after going and not finding anyone, he’ll collapse, and if he doesn’t cope well and does something rash, what will happen to the two children?

It’s not about what other thoughts might be, but from this perspective, his stance is indeed incorrect.

To prevent such a situation, Qin Yu still hopes he won’t go.

But thinking about his sister’s safety, Qin Yu also worries, especially since they don’t know whether his sister is alive or dead, which is their greatest torment.

Considering the family is still unaware of the situation here, Qin Yu feels he should inform them.

”Brother-in-law, let mom come to take care of the kids.” Qin Yu asked Chu Molin.

”No need, let them stay there and manage the shop. I’ll have Xiaoqiao look after the two children, don’t worry, I won’t go looking for your sister right now, I’ll go after settling the kids.” Chu Molin, of course, understands the urgency of the situation.

There’s no solution regarding his wife, so no matter how urgent, he can’t do much, but the children are waiting for him to arrange things, and he must ensure nothing happens to them.

So, it’s not about his willingness, but whether he can leave under the circumstances.

Chu Molin’s mindset is to strive until everything is sorted.

”Is this okay? We can’t keep this from our parents for long.” If Qin Xue hasn’t sent any news for a prolonged period, they’ll become suspicious.

At that point, trying to hide it is impossible, and possibly they’ll be even more upset once they discover the truth.

”I’m not hiding it from them, I already wrote them a letter, it might have arrived by now.” Chu Molin’s remark almost shocked the sibling duo.

”When did this happen? How come we didn’t know?” The siblings exchanged glances; they were contemplating not telling their parents, and suddenly, their brother-in-law reveals that it’s already done, completely unexpectedly.

”Not too long ago, after your sister had her incident, I searched for some time but couldn’t find her, so I informed them. Your sister is their beloved daughter, we can’t keep this from them forever. If they find out from elsewhere later, they’ll be heartbroken, so it’s better we tell them ourselves.” Chu Molin didn’t overthink the situation but knew parents wouldn’t want to hear such news about their children, so he opted to write a letter.

”If that’s the case, I think they should be on their way here.” Qin Yu and Qin Jiale said in unison.

”I think so too, just not sure if both are coming or just mother alone?” Chu Molin could sense the result would be like this.

So, he refrained from saying much but didn’t overthink it as well because, to him, the result would be the same, they’d either have one or both coming.

They couldn’t help but acknowledge how well they knew Qin Lei and his wife, as they’ve already arrived in the Imperial Capital.

However, looking at everything here, Nangong Shulan seemed in a daze, it’s been so many years since she last came here.

The changes here are indeed vast, and she has a different layer of memories, which she never touched until now, unexpectedly returning for her daughter.
