Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

”Ang!”

A high-pitched sound.

As the sea surface broke open, that gigantic figure emerged, and this piercing sound wave spread outwards.

This giant ocean creature.

Its size was massive, similar to a whale.

However, more noticeable than the whale-like shape were the numerous holes scattered across its body.

A proud call sounded again and again from these holes.

The calls were exceptionally piercing.

They seemed to be stirring up something around them, influencing everyone.

Even Alka couldn’t help but frown, for he could feel that he too was affected by this presence.

The space was disturbed in different ways.

At this moment, a silent sound wave emanated from Julia.

The silent wave canceled out the high-pitched call, nullifying all the sounds and forming a wall of sound.

The waves churned.

The seawater formed an attack under the influence of some strange power, rushing towards those on the ship.

”Don’t hold back, it’s trying to seize Jason’s magic power.”

This whale monster was attracted by the magic power from Jason’s ascension; it’s simply a sea creature pursuing magic power.

But the whale’s size was overwhelmingly huge and its strength indeed powerful, even Alka felt the whale’s strength had reached Perfection at stage 7.

For a sea monster, such power seemed rather peculiar. There was serious suspicion of divinity within it.

Because in Alka’s eyes, it wasn’t just the concentration of magic power that reached this stage, but truly the quality of magic itself as well.

A familiar feeling.

A bit like those Golden Era monsters that Alka saw in the phantoms of history.

This sea monster was not simple.

Everyone exerted their strength, and soon enough, the whale’s attempt to absorb magic was halted.

Although the whale hadn’t received any significant damage since then, it seemed to sense a threat.

Power surged suddenly.

Then, all kinds of strange things unexpectedly emerged from the seabed, being hurled towards them.

Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be the remains of various abandoned ships.

No one knew how long these shipwreck remnants had been sitting in the ocean, but many were already covered with marine plants.

These ships were completely dilapidated, reduced to piles of rotten wood, but still connected enough to form simple outlines.

A large heap of debris scattered like falling petals.

The sudden onslaught fell in succession, crashing towards them.

Then, unbelievably, the sea monster took advantage of the chaos to dive into the water.

Watching this scene, Lucilia’s figure instantly flickered and vanished from the spot.

Appearing on the sea surface, she raised the Curse Blade in her hand and swung downward.

”Ang!”

The high-pitched sound came again.

Clearly, this strike landed solidly on the creature.

But even so, the creature didn’t stop; instead, it moved faster, diving vertically into the deep sea.

In an instant, it sank hundreds of meters into the ocean depths.

The massive body endured an unknown amount of damage.

”Very clever,” Alka suddenly said with a smile.

”Was that a divine creature?” Lucilia asked Alka upon returning.

Upon hearing this.

Everyone’s gaze shifted, and Alka nodded.

”Yes, indeed a divine creature, and within its body, I also saw a Divine Essence of Scepter Level.”

Everyone’s eyes became more puzzled.

Because if Alka made a move instantly, he could definitely keep this divine creature.

But Alka didn’t forcefully capture it; instead, he used considerable power to stabilize the debris of ships thrown at them. Let them settle steadily on the sea surface; these wreckage still floated around now.

”What are you thinking, this divine creature must have survived from Ancient Times. Moreover, I sensed the presence of the Sea God’s aura on it, possibly a kin of the Sea God.

It was merely attracted by the magic power during Jason’s ascension, which is part of their instinct.

And actually, upon seeing Pororo, it didn’t really want to stay.”

Because of his eyes, even if Alka didn’t intentionally use them, it was easy for him to obtain some less hidden information from that creature.

So these auras were the easiest medium to gain insight, quickly deciphered by Alka.

”Moreover... the main point is that the Divine Essence on it doesn’t seem suitable for you all.”

...So that’s actually the main reason.

Seeing the information expressed in everyone’s eyes, Alka smiled.

Indeed, there was a reason for that.

However, it was just a minor episode, no significant distress was caused to them.

”But the reason I said it’s clever isn’t because of this.”

Saying that, Alka pointed around.

Everyone looked.

The sea surface was covered with countless shipwreck remnants floating, and some even hovered in the air due to the high concentration of magic power around.

After all, above the center of the ship, Jason continued his ascension.

The surrounding magic still formed a vortex, though the ocean’s situation was suppressed by Alka, these wrecks wouldn’t sink into the sea for a while due to magic’s drawing power.

”These shipwrecks contain quite a few treasures; it might intentionally have thrown them out.

Hmm, perhaps to avoid calamity with wealth.”

”Indeed, that’s quite clever.”
