Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Before the night arrives.

The Sound of Dawn once more departed from the port.

Heading towards the Trial Island where the Tower of Trial is located not far away.

The journey was swift.

In just about four or five days or so, they arrived at the island where the Tower of Trial stands.

This island is still no different from the other islands they’ve seen where the Towers of Trial reside.

After experiencing so many Trial Islands, these islands really do look similar.

Every island has a large expanse of ruined buildings in front. Behind the ruins is a large open area, and at the center of it stands the Tower of Trial.

All these islands are without exception like this.

Except for the shape of the island which might be a little different after its collapse at the time, but you can feel that overall there’s no difference.

Remaining ruins of the buildings.

The towering black tower standing at the center of the island.

A flower boat made of plants is parked beside it.

And along with their arrival, members of the Life Seed Church confirmed their identity and then left by boat.

The entire process was orderly.

Alka arrived beneath the Tower of Trial.

He looked at the tower, which seemed no different from the one within his small world.

The Elemental Card was controlled to cut and transport it into the small world.

At this time, five black towers almost identical to each other were already towering in his small world, and as Alka placed the sixth beside them.

The six towers had already formed a semicircle, arranged in an arc.

When all six towers existed together, Alka could keenly perceive that a kind of link had formed between them.

This means that Alka has gathered half of them, seemingly giving these towers a somewhat different function.

As he wondered about this, a faintly blurred figure appeared at the center of the six towers.

It was a creature with an elemental form.

Its body was enveloped by some golden energy, or perhaps it itself had transformed into this kind of golden energy.

The only adornment on its elemental form were golden circular bands on the hand areas.

It seemed a bit amazed at its current state, looking around.

Then it looked at Alka.

”If I’m not mistaken, you should be Alka, right?”

Although the entity before him might be a manifestation of the Tower of Trial, Alka nodded cautiously.

”Who are you?”

”Oh, sorry, I forgot to introduce myself.

I was once the Chief Deputy of the City of Trials—Nalford’s Hand, you can also call me Nalford.

My current duty is managing the Divine Hall of Trial and controlling the 12 Towers of Trial, in general terms you could consider this the core program of the Towers of Trial.”

Upon hearing this, Alka nodded in realization.

He had once heard from his instructor.

This Nalford’s Hand should be considered the leader of the current trials.

Even the instructors are now led by him.

”I didn’t expect you to collect half so quickly, your efficiency really is surprising.

A total of 6 Towers of Trial closely connected together, their linkage has acquired new functions. Ah, it’s really nostalgic.

Would you like to try this new function? Don’t worry, this function won’t disappoint you.”

Nalford appeared quite familiar with Alka.

Hearing this, Alka nodded, but said, ”If you don’t mind, could you wait for me a moment, I have matters outside to attend to.”

”Of course, after becoming an instructor, what we lack least is time, you can return anytime.”

Saying this, he simply remained there motionlessly.

Having left a Heart Eye monitoring, Alka then left the small world.

Ensuring that the entity remained stationary after he departed.

He quickly returned to the ship.

Then the Sound of Dawn activated.

He looked at his companions beside him.

”Does anyone want to go to the small world? After collecting the six Towers of Trial, the Tower of Trial has acquired some new functions.”

Upon hearing this, everyone immediately became interested.

Following Alka, they entered the small world.

They saw the six Towers of Trial arranged in an arc and Nalford in the center.

”Sorry to keep you waiting,” Alka said.

”Not at all, it’s only been a short while, hasn’t it?”

Then he looked at Alka and the others around him, including Chadite, saying with a hint of surprise in his voice, ”You are all powerful individuals, even in the Golden Era, your existence would be renowned and would have your names etched in history.

It’s unfortunate that these Towers of Trial weren’t originally made for beings like you.

So although they had you help gather them, they likely won’t bring significant improvement in power.”

After speaking, he suddenly turned, raising his fluid energy hands.

”But now it’s different, although this function was only simply tested when the Towers of Trial hadn’t yet been divided.

But it’s guaranteed to let you all maintain the drive for advancement.”

He inexplicably spoke words that the people couldn’t understand. But everyone roughly understood that the new function might allow them to undergo effective training despite already being at the Seventh Stage.

Saying this, he waved his hand.

The power of the 6 Towers of Trial began to converge, then beneath them a structure akin to a competitive platform arose.

Somewhat resembling the kind of venue where they previously joined instructors inside the Tower of Trial.
