Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Julie was shocked by this scene!

Catherine was stunned as well!

Ian Shelby and Jocelyn were also shaken internally. Everyone’s gaze fell on the kneeling Prince Taylor, his hair disheveled, with bruises all over his face, and blood on his lips.

Ian appeared very calm and remained unmoved. His internal anger hadn’t diminished in the slightest due to this kneeling.

”Brother, I was wrong!” Taylor looked up at him and said thick-skinned, ”Please forgive me! I really know I was wrong!”

His call of ”Brother” struck a chord in Ian’s heart, playing the familial bond.

Ian’s indifferent face showed no expression, but his heart was slightly moved because, for Taylor, this address... must be difficult, right?

Catherine and Julie hadn’t quite come to their senses; Taylor actually called him Brother??!

”Jocelyn, I’m sorry, I was wrong!” Seeing no reaction from his brother, Taylor knelt towards the girl beside him, looking remorseful, saying pitifully, ”I really know I was wrong, I... I’ll write a self-criticism for you, okay?”

Self-criticism??

This is something only children do!

But at this moment, Taylor was like a child who had done something wrong, surrounded by his mother, brother, and sister-in-law.

As long as he sincerely apologizes, the elders won’t hold it against him, so his father wouldn’t find out either.

Jocelyn suddenly felt sorry for him; Taylor’s appearance really made it hard to stay angry at him. He didn’t succeed, was beaten, knelt, and apologized...

So, she turned her gaze to the man beside her.

Ian looked at him with cold anger, ”Handwrite a thousand-word self-criticism, the attitude must be sincere, the handwriting must be neat, submit it by tonight before dark!”

”Okay, Brother!” Taylor sighed in relief, ”Can I... get up now?”

Ian withdrew his gaze, put his arm around Jocelyn’s shoulders and walked away.

Jocelyn turned around as she walked, glancing at the three of them and saw Taylor stand up, her eyes briefly met with those of Princess Catherine.

Jocelyn withdrew her gaze and turned her head back, she noticed a hint of gratitude in Princess Catherine’s eyes.

So... they too certainly don’t want the situation to escalate or damage Taylor’s reputation.

”Dr. Shelby.” Jocelyn turned her head as she walked, ”Can you...”

”What did you call me?” Ian pinched her shoulder, reminding her, ”Didn’t you just change it in bed?”, his tone shifting from the previous chillyness to teasing and gentle.

Jocelyn’s heart seemed to be strummed, she turned around and hugged him, halting his steps, ”Ian Brother.” She looked up at him, ”Can you not tell the King about this?”

It’s not a saintly act, but considering the bigger picture.

The incident has already happened, and since Taylor is willing to write a self-criticism, it’s believed he will reform.

Today, Princess Catherine personally came over to plead, if it reaches the King, the relationship between the Princess and him would be strained again.

Of course, this kind of relationship should be repaired as perfectly as possible.

Their gazes met, Ian understood her meaning and naturally acknowledged this logic, ”We can choose not to tell, but it’s hard to keep it hidden.”

He said, ”Taylor’s injuries aren’t fatal, but the aftereffects are strong, I estimate he won’t be able to get out of bed tomorrow.”

”Ah?” Jocelyn’s chest tightened slightly, then a thought popped into her mind, ”Then why don’t you treat him? Repair a bit... your relationship with your stepmother?”

Ian raised his eyebrows, his voice deepened, ”That depends on whether his thousand-word self-criticism satisfies me.”
