Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

His heart felt like it was hit by something!

What? They’re getting married??

Taylor was sure he didn’t hear wrong; he couldn’t accept this fact, why?

Why should the throne be his and the woman his too?

This is not fair!

Taylor liked Jocelyn, it was the feeling from the first encounter, because he felt that the charm emanating from Jocelyn was something other women couldn’t learn, he hadn’t seen it in his life.

Taylor could give up the throne, could not be King, and could abandon fame and fortune, but he didn’t want to lose the woman he liked!

For a person, emotions are something that can be encountered but not sought.

So, he was anxious, lost his composure, and started thinking of ways...

About an hour later.

Jocelyn was in Ian Shelby’s palace garden, helping the servants water the flowers and plants, each bloom unfurling petal by petal. Last night’s heavy rain had wilted many, though some had just begun to blossom.

She recalled staying here last night, the downpour, thunder and lightning.

Ian Shelby gentlemanly embraced her to sleep, they shared the same blanket, he did not touch her, every detail reflecting his care and love for her.

Before marrying, love is restraint, a hand wanting to reach out but pulling back.

Jocelyn couldn’t help but smile, feeling very happy. Dr. Shelby was truly a gentleman.

At this moment, a servant walked towards her from not far away, ”Miss Morgan.”

Jocelyn lifted her eyes, sprinkler in hand, the maid quickly stood before her, ”Miss Morgan, Prince Taylor invites you to visit Aerie Castle, it’s at the far west, turn left from here and you’ll see it.”

”Did he say why he’s looking for me?” Jocelyn was somewhat puzzled.

”There’s something.”

”What is it?”

”Sorry, I’m not sure, but he insisted I convey the message.”

”...” Jocelyn thought for a moment, she felt it necessary to meet Taylor, after all, the last incident caused quite a stir, the King was angry at him, and he felt wronged.

Moreover, she had been deliberately concealing her relationship with Ian Shelby from him, now that Eden was dethroned, she needed to explain it to him.

To mend the brothers’ relationship, the barriers must gradually be eliminated, she had to play a role.

”Okay, I’ll go right away.” Jocelyn agreed.

The servant was delighted, having conveyed the message and accomplished the Prince’s task, she could earn a handsome reward.

So the servant smiled, bowed to her, and turned to leave.

Jocelyn pondered, put down the sprinkler, took out her phone, and dialed Ian Shelby.

At that moment, Ian Shelby had just fed the King his medicine, the King had just lain down to rest, moments ago, the father and son had talked a lot.

The King asked about his years, and he answered each query.

The phone rang, Ian Shelby looked, it was Jocelyn calling, he quickly answered, ”Hello, Jocelyn.”

”Dr. Shelby, Prince Taylor had someone deliver a message saying he wants to meet with me,” Jocelyn told him truthfully, ”I plan to see him, thought it necessary to let you know, so I’m calling.”

Ian Shelby thought for a moment, asked, ”Where’s the meeting? When?” Since she decided to go, she surely had her reasons.

”Aerie Castle, right now.”

”Then ensure your safety, contact me if there’s any situation,” Ian Shelby told her, ”I’ll come find you later, I have some matters to attend to first at my own place.”

”Alright,” Jocelyn’s voice was sweet, ”See you later.” Then she hung up the phone, put it away, and headed towards Aerie Castle.
