Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 810: Chapter 810: Jocelyn! How Could You Do This?

After a while, Hailey inquired, ”Jocelyn, do your parents know about me? What’s their attitude?”

This whole love confession got into the news, they should have seen it, right?

”They’re not my parents.” Jocelyn Morgan smiled and said, ”I’m the daughter of Uncle Finn, we’re half-siblings with different parents, just the same grandfather.”

Hailey remembered, Finn seemed to have mentioned it.

”My parents died in a car accident when I was five.” Jocelyn, with a cheerful personality, seemed to have moved on from the grief, ”Ever since then, I’ve been fostered here.”

Hailey looked at her smile in the mirror, ”Sorry.” It was as if she could see the sadness in her heart.

”It’s okay.” Jocelyn was helping her do her hair, ”Uncle and Aunt have become much more democratic over the years. They used to hope Melissa and Finn would get together, since both families have been friends for generations, so they knew each other well.”

”But my brother strongly opposed it, he even ran away from home. He’d rather work for someone else than return home to be the heir. Who wouldn’t care about their own child, right? So Uncle and Aunt said as long as my brother is happy, he can make his own choices.”

”By the way, sister-in-law,” Jocelyn added, ”My brother has no dating history, he’s a genuine academic star. During school, he only focused on studying his favorite fields, didn’t even have time to look at girls. So if he doesn’t understand romance, don’t consider him a jerk! He just lacks experience! Please, don’t be mad at him!”

Listening to this, Hailey Hale couldn’t help but think back to her moments with Finn, ”He’s such a clean freak, he detests girls shedding hair, it’s no wonder he has no dating history!”

”Yeah, he loves cleanliness.” Jocelyn’s smile was sweet, ”How did you two get together? You must tell me all about it later!”

Hailey looked at the girl in the mirror, no matter what she said, there was always a smile on her face, truly cheerful, as if she had no worries.

”Actually, your brother is quite romantic.” Hailey couldn’t help but praise.

”I don’t know why, but when I saw the news that day, at first, I felt it was unbelievable.” Jocelyn honestly said to her, ”What an outstanding girl must it take to catch my brother’s eye! Later, hearing my brother mention you on the phone, I felt you two are truly a perfect match!”

Outside the door, Melissa, who had been standing there for a long time, did not feel great upon hearing these words.

Jocelyn Morgan!!

How could she do this?!

Melissa looked around the vast dressing room, Hailey changed into a beautiful dress, and Melissa Merce, a graduate in aesthetics, personally applied makeup for Hailey. Soon, her beauty might overshadow everyone else!

The media will be here this afternoon, Melissa doesn’t want anyone stealing the spotlight!!

But the most important thing right now is... not to let Finn know Hailey is here!!

Finn obviously doesn’t know Hailey is Grandpa Bai’s granddaughter! Jocelyn even wants to help her create a surprise!

So, Melissa picked up her skirt and turned to leave.

”Hello, do you know where your young master is?”

”Hello, Miss Mu, I’m not sure.”

”Hi! Do you know where Finn is?”

”Hello, Miss Mu, I don’t know.” The servant shook his head.

Melissa did not give up, after all, she had just glanced into the yard, the car was still there.

”Hello, have you seen Finn?”

”No, Miss Mu.”

Melissa even thought about what excuse to find to get Finn out, to prevent him from encountering Hailey.

But unfortunately, she simply couldn’t find him!! She was almost freaking out.
