Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 734: Chapter 734: The Slap Landed on the Wrong Person

Justin Kingston’s face looked grim, as if he was a bit impatient, ”You go ahead and get busy, there’s nothing for you here.” In fact, he already knew the truth.

Barbara Sutton turned away with a heart full of unease.

”Dad, aren’t you going to pursue her responsibility?” Gigi asked.

After Barbara had walked a little farther, Justin Kingston bent down and grasped Gigi’s shoulders, ”The mastermind is Monica Usher, Barbara doesn’t have the guts.”

”Oh, right, Dad.” Gigi quickly took off his backpack and retrieved a phone, ”This is Ariel Chandler’s phone, I’ve just repaired it.”

”How did Ariel Chandler’s phone end up with you?” Justin Kingston asked, surprised as he took it and glanced over it.

”Uncle Finn Morgan gave it to me, it got wet, and I just fixed it.”

Justin Kingston turned on the phone, flipping through its contents.

”I’ve checked through everything; I think the most valuable clue is a passage in the memo.” Gigi said, ”It’s something Ariel Chandler wrote to a woman named Grace White. I don’t know if it was sent successfully, because there’s no such person in her WeChat.”

Justin Kingston opened up the memo.

He carefully read the passage—

Grace White, Lydia Ingram will never marry you, just drop the idea. He has ten principles for choosing a wife, and you don’t meet the first one; you’re too old. I know you’ve done some unsavory things to help him, you two are in the same boat, but even with that, Lydia won’t divorce me...

”Unsavory things?” Justin Kingston reflected, taking out his phone to dial a number and instructed sternly, ”Investigate the woman named Grace White who is beside Lydia Ingram.”

”Yes, CEO Kingston.”

”Gigi.” Justin Kingston hung up the phone and crouched down in front of his son, holding his small shoulders, ”There’s a lot going on today, leave the phone with Dad, let Jerry Garcia take you back home, alright?”

”Okay.” Gigi was very concerned about Hailey Hale, ”So how are you going to handle Sister Hailey’s situation?”

”I’ve already handed it over to the police.” Justin Kingston told him, ”When they confessed, I had already called the police, and those people were taken away, and the police will also look into Monica Usher.”

Gigi nodded reassuringly, ”That’s good, bad people must be severely punished! Otherwise, if they keep doing bad deeds, it makes everyone uneasy! She really is a lingering ghost!”

Justin Kingston hugged him, ”Go on, go back to Grandma’s house.”

Celestial Heights.

After getting out of the car, Finn Morgan walked into the elevator, thinking of Hailey Hale being controlled by those villains, her desperate and helpless look, filled him with hatred towards Melissa Merce!

A surge of hostility rose from his heart.

Stepping out of the elevator, he pressed the fingerprint lock, and the door opened.

The girl sitting on the sofa with her knees hugged looked dejected; upon seeing him enter, she stood up joyfully, ”You’re back?!”

She greeted him happily, ”Finn Morgan, your grandpa’s birthday is coming up, you’ll definitely go back, right?”

Smack!

A loud slap landed on her face!

Turning her face sideways!

It made Grace White’s mother tremble in her heart, and she quickly ran over, ”Young Master Morgan! Why did you hit someone?!”

She hurriedly supported the bewildered Melissa Merce, ”Miss, are you okay?”

Melissa knitted her brows and glared at Finn Morgan, seeing the deep hatred in his eyes, along with his accusation, ”Why such a cruel heart? Why did you kidnap her?!”

”What are you talking about?” Melissa shook off Grace White’s mother, frustrated and speechless, ”Kidnap who?”

”Still pretending?” Finn Morgan concluded, ”Who else but you? Before you came, everything was fine! As soon as you appear, everything goes haywire!”

Melissa looked bewildered, not understanding what he was saying at all.

At this moment, Finn Morgan’s phone rang; he looked to see it was Justin Kingston, and calmed himself a bit before answering, ”CEO Kingston.”

”The interrogation revealed it was Monica Usher, I’ve already handed it over to the police.” Justin Kingston’s warm voice came over, ”Is Hailey okay? How’s her mood? I felt she was quite frightened.”
