Dungeon Corpse Stacker: I Absorb Everything to Become Ominous Monarch

The expansive, seventy story atrium of the Hunter Association Headquarters echoed with the high pitched, metallic screech of emergency lockdown shutters slamming shut across every window and secondary exit corridor. Red emergency lights bathed the massive marble pillars and vaulted glass ceiling in a bloody, pulsating crimson glow, while automated defense cannons mounted along the high balconies whirred to life, locking their tracking lasers directly onto the ruined central entrance.

Dust, concrete powder, and thick, midnight black Monarch miasma swirled through the shattered doorway where the fifty foot reinforced adamantine doors had once stood.

Standing in the center of the ruined atrium, Renan slowly unbuttoned the cuffs of his long black Monarch coat. His boots rested lightly on the cracked marble floorboards, surrounded by the groaning, broken forms of three hundred Association Enforcers who had been swept away by the kinetic shockwave of his entry punch.

”My Sovereign,” Shadow Commander Rebecca reported, stepping forward from the shadows as her dark phantom cloak billowed around her. ”The automated security grid has sealed all primary elevator shafts, emergency stairwells, and structural conduits leading to the lower levels. The defensive mana density in the central shaft has been raised to maximum output.”

Renan did not alter his calm, cold expression. He looked up toward the central grand staircase that curved upward through the first twenty five floors of the administrative tower, where two hundred heavily armored figures stood in immaculate, ironclad formation.

These were the Executive Enforcers President James’s personal elite guard, composed entirely of high ranking S Rank and peak A Rank combat hunters who had been subjected to black market biological mana enhancements. Clad in heavy obsidian plated power armor and wielding high frequency mana broadswords inscribed with anti shadow runes, their eyes burned with an unnatural, crimson frenzy.

Standing at the apex of the grand staircase was Commander Vance the supreme leader of the Executive Enforcers and a seasoned S Rank veteran whose physical stats were artificially boosted by stolen dungeon cores.

”Sovereign Renan!” Vance shouted, his amplified voice echoing through the hollow seventy story atrium like thunder. ”You may have crushed the outer guards and broken our front gates, but this tower is the ultimate fortress of the Hunter Association! Every step you take upward or downward will be paid in your own blood!”

Vance raised his massive, glowing broadsword, pointing its blade directly down at Renan.

”Executive Enforcers, form the ’Searing Sun Warding Line’!” Vance roared. ”Activate all anti monarch dampening fields! Do not let him reach the subterranean bunker!”

BOOM BOOM BOOM!

Two hundred Executive Enforcers slammed their heavy obsidian shields against the marble steps, activating high grade spatial dampening devices attached to their armors. A dense, blinding sphere of holy enchanted crimson light expanded across the entire atrium, attempting to suppress Renan’s Monarch miasma and force his shadow legion to dissolve back into the floor!

[Warning: High Frequency Spatial Dampening Field Activated!]

Effect: Reduces Ambient Mana Density by 40% & Suppresses Low Tier Summons

The surrounding Shadow Knights let out low, hollow groans as the crimson light burned against their dark frames, their forms flickering under the anti shadow field.

Renan looked up at Vance impassively. The golden Monarch runes etched deep across his skin flared with an absolute, godlike radiance, completely ignoring the anti monarch dampening field as if it were nothing more than a gentle summer breeze. His 42,000 physical stat points generated a physical pressure so dense that the crimson light around his body was forcibly repelled, forming a ten foot sphere of absolute void space around him.

”A artificial field designed to suppress low tier mana,” Renan murmured, his layered, double toned voice cutting through the ambient noise of the alarms with chilling clarity. ”You built a cage out of paper and believed it could hold the ocean.”

Renan slowly raised his left dark gloved hand, snapping his fingers once in the quiet atrium.

SNAP!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

A colossal wave of pitch black Monarch energy erupted outward from Renan’s body, expanding across the entire seventy story atrium in a fraction of a microsecond! The sheer kinetic and spiritual force of his aura instantly shattered every single spatial dampening device on the Executive Enforcers’ armors, blowing out the glass balconies and crushing the automated defense cannons into flattened scrap metal!

”W WHAT?!” Vance stammered, his heavy power armor groaning under the sudden, suffocating physical pressure that forced his knees to bend against the marble steps. ”Our dampening field... crushed in a single instant?!”

Before Vance or his elite guards could recover their balance, two dark, towering figures materialized directly in front of their front lines: Shadow General Ignis and Shadow General Alexander.

”Ignis. Alexander. Rebecca,” Renan ordered softly, stepping toward the central elevator shaft. ”Clear the staircase. Slice through floor one to twenty five.”

”BY YOUR ABSOLUTE WILL, MY SOVEREIGN!”

Shadow General Ignis let out a deafening dragon roar as its twenty foot broadsword ignited with roaring, midnight black inferno flames. With a single, sweeping horizontal slash (Dragon’s Cleave), Ignis unleashed a massive wave of black fire that tore through the first five ranks of Executive Enforcers, burning through their obsidian power armor and melting the marble staircase into white hot magma!

At the same time, Shadow General Alexander leaped high into the air, bringing his giant phantom warhammer down directly onto the center of Vance’s defensive formation!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

The kinetic impact detonated like a heavy artillery shell! Fifty Executive Enforcers were instantly blasted off the staircase, their heavy power armors buckling and shattering as they crashed through the lower glass offices!

Shadow Commander Rebecca blurred through the lingering smoke like a phantom ghost, her twin dark daggers severing mana conduits and throats with mechanical, razor sharp precision. In less than four minutes of absolute, one sided slaughter, the entire two hundred man Executive Enforcer guard was completely wiped out, their blood staining the ruined marble steps.

Renan did not even look back at the carnage. He stopped directly in front of the primary reinforced titanium elevator shaft that descended forty levels down into the subterranean Class S Bunker.

He drew his dark Monarch blade from its sheath, the obsidian metal burning with a golden black aura that heated the surrounding air to a scorching temperature.

”James,” Renan whispered, pointing the tip of his dark blade straight down at the heavy titanium floorplates beneath his boots. ”Your enforcers are dead. I am coming down.”

Renan thrust his blade downward into the floor, preparing to carve a direct vertical path straight into the subterranean bunker!
