Dungeon Corpse Stacker: I Absorb Everything to Become Ominous Monarch

The high altitude sky above Capital Sector 1 was painted in dark crimson, gold, and violent violet hues as the sun dipped beneath the western horizon, casting long, ominous shadows across the concrete ruins of the city.

High above the shattered Association Tower skyline, the colossal five hundred meter spectral frame of the Shadow Dragon Leviathan hovered silently in the upper atmosphere. Its massive, obsidian scaled wings swept gale force cold winds across the glass rooftops with every heavy beat, causing the clouds to ripple in concentric circles. Down on the polished surface plaza, twenty four thousand Shadow Knights, bone armored Abyssal Beasts, phantom elementalists, and shadow mages stood arrayed in flawless, terrifying, and immaculate military ranks. Their glowing golden visors and burning phantom eyes ignited simultaneously in the twilight gloom, resembling a vast, silent ocean of golden stars covering twenty square miles of urban blocks.

At the very edge of the elevated terrace atop the three story Ominous Sovereign Terminal, Renan stood quietly, his long black coat fluttering gracefully in the salt laced sea draft blowing from the coast.

The glowing golden Monarch runes etched deep across his skin burned with an absolute, sun bright intensity through his dark armor, radiating his newly achieved 60,400 physical stat points. The sheer gravitational and physical density of his aura caused the air around the terrace to hum with continuous electrostatic sparks, forcing the ambient temperature to hover near freezing. Surrounding him in a semi circle of absolute, fanatical submission were his primary Rank EX Shadow Commanders: Ignis, Sylas, Gregory, Carlos, Rebecca, Drake, Marcus, Vane, and James.

Shadow Commander James stepped forward, tapping his dark spectral scepter against the reinforced glass floorboards, projecting a massive, three dimensional tactical hologram of the Pacific Ocean Trench into the air.

[Tactical Briefing: Project Tartarus Ocean Trench Facility]

Location: Abyssal Trench (800 Miles Offshore / Depth: 6,000 Meters)

Enemy Force: 300 Synthetic Relic Soldiers (Class S & SS Rank Equivalent)

Defense Grid: Automated Deep Sea Mana Barriers & Hydro Kinetic Cannons

Primary Objective: Total Infiltration, Destruction of Relic Cores, & Data Extraction

”My Sovereign Monarch,” Shadow Commander James reported, his deep, double toned voice layered with sharp, administrative, and tactical focus. ”Satellite tracking and long range shadow scout feeds confirm that the World Federation’s Apex Council in Geneva has placed Project Tartarus under emergency Level 1 Combat Authorization. Following Ambassador Vane Tempest’s retreat from the Western Gate, the facility has initiated illegal reactor overload protocols to mass produce an additional two hundred Synthetic Relic Soldiers within the next six hours.”

”Synthetic Relic Soldiers,” Renan murmured softly, his glowing golden eyes narrowing slightly as he looked down at the spinning holographic coordinates of the Pacific Ocean floor. ”Artificial flesh forged from captured gate bosses, human genetic material, and ancient relic cores.”

”Indeed, Master,” Shadow Commander Vane the former SS Rank Elementalist of the Three Pillars added, stepping forward with his spectral leviathan staff, his rune embroidered robes swirling in the wind. ”The facility is completely submerged inside an active Class EX Dimensional Rift on the abyssal ocean floor. The ambient hydro static water pressure alone exceeds six thousand atmospheres. Standard human Hunter strike teams or naval fleets would be imploded instantly upon entry, but our Shadow Legion is completely immune to physical environmental hazards, drowning, and pressure degradation.”

Shadow General Ignis slammed the heavy butt of its massive dragon fire broadsword onto the terrace floor, sending a wide wave of dark purple flames licking across the obsidian tiles. ”Master! Give the order! My dragon fire will boil their abyssal trench, vaporize their ocean barriers, and melt their artificial puppets into liquid slag!”

Renan slowly raised his gloved hand, calming his roaring General with a single gesture.

”We will not merely destroy the facility, Ignis,” Renan said, his double toned voice echoing across the terrace with icy, ruthless tactical precision that chilled the air. ”We will capture their central research core intact. I want every blueprint, every gene sequence, every illegal human experiment log, and every relic core they used to build those synthetic puppets integrated directly into our own administrative database.”

Renan turned his golden eyes toward Shadow Commander Marcus and Shadow Commander Drake.

”Marcus. Drake,” Renan commanded smoothly, his voice carrying the unyielding weight of a Monarch’s decree. ”You will remain behind with four thousand heavy Shadow Knights to maintain the perimeter defense of Sectors 1, 2, 3, and 4. If any foreign scout ships, international Hunter squads, or orbital recon drones approach our borders while we are at sea, eliminate them without hesitation.”

”By your absolute will, My Sovereign!” Marcus and Drake echoed in unison, dropping onto both knees and pressing their gauntlets firmly against their armored chests.

Renan looked up at the darkening sky, where the Shadow Dragon Leviathan let out a low, earth shaking rumble from its throat, lowering its massive horned head toward the terrace edge like a mountain bending down.

”Ignis. James. Vane. Rebecca. Sylas,” Renan called out, his voice chilling the air as thick, midnight black miasma wrapped tightly around his leather boots. ”Board Leviathan. We march to the abyssal trench.”

SWOOSH!

Renan stepped off the edge of the high terrace, his physical frame leaping two hundred feet into the air before landing lightly upon the massive obsidian crown of the Shadow Dragon Leviathan. Following instantly behind him, his primary commanders and twenty thousand Shadow Knights dissolved into dark, surging streams of shadow miasma, flowing up into the dragon’s massive wings, scales, and shadow body!

ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOAR!

The Shadow Dragon Leviathan unleashed a deafening, sky rending roar that shattered the cloud cover over Capital Sector 1 for fifty miles in every direction! With a single, massive sweep of its five hundred meter wings, the dragon launched itself westward toward the Pacific Ocean at hypersonic speeds, trailing a massive, comet like tail of pitch black Monarch miasma across the evening sky.

Sitting atop the dragon’s crown, his long black coat billowing wildly in the gale force supersonic winds, Renan looked out over the vast, dark expanse of the open ocean stretching ahead into the night.

The World Federation in Geneva had sent diplomats with arrogant threats of economic blockades, orbital cannons, and global surrender. They believed an ocean trench six thousand meters beneath the sea would shield their secret weapons and illegal facility from his wrath.

Renan gripped the hilt of his dark Monarch blade, his golden eyes flaring with absolute, unyielding malice as fifty mile wide storm clouds formed in their wake.

”Build your synthetic army, Geneva,” Renan whispered into the roaring wind, his double toned voice echoing over the ocean waves like the tolling of an executioner’s bell. ”I am coming to harvest your cores.”
