Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 42: Chapter 40: Miracle of Life

The evil attribute Mightyena has been restrained by a move similar to the Psychic Attribute?

Miracle?

No.

Baimu understood that Chansey had not yet reached the level of defying natural laws; that would be the miraculous power of a Legendary Pokémon.

What it used at this moment might be either the Body Freeze Technique—akin to the Petrification Technique that Xiaoxia’s Psyduck liked to use in the anime—or some psychic transformation move that ignores attribute compatibility.

[Telekinesis]!

That’s right, that must be it.

He quickly freed himself from beneath Mightyena, holding his wounded arm, and climbed up to observe Chansey’s condition.

The opponent’s eyes were covered with a blue light; its cute little face mixed with an expression of pain and determination, seeming like its spiritual power had reached its limit but still standing firm.

Even though it didn’t deal any damage to Mightyena, being able to hold it at bay was enough.

”What a relief...”

Baimu exhaled a turbid breath, turning to look at Jian, who was also standing there stunned, and ran towards him, ignoring the blood flowing from his arm.

Unfortunately, due to the distance, this guy wasn’t controlled by Chansey.

It was necessary to give him a cut.

”You! Don’t come over here!”

Realizing Baimu was approaching, Jian screamed in surprise and turned to run, his voice becoming extremely distorted.

Though the two were similar in size, the former had an injured arm, but just seeing him sprint over made Jian’s heart inevitably fill with fear and anxiety, as if a ferocious beast was coveting his head.

After all, until now, he couldn’t understand why Baimu was so tough.

It had only been a week since he started training Pokémon; even though his Pokémon level was far below Jian’s, he couldn’t win, even after doping Mightyena with his stash of medicine.

”You stop right there!”

Thinking about this, Jian’s face showed a trace of ferocity; he roared angrily and pulled a small knife from his pocket, though his brows were filled with an air of false bravado.

Suddenly.

He excitedly shouted, ”Obstagoon! Take out that Chansey for me!”

Baimu slightly turned his head, noticing Obstagoon, who should have been asleep, suddenly sat upright, clearly having shaken off sleep.

Similarly.

The Aron in front of it also awoke from its trance.

At first glance, it seemed the situation had reversed, but Jian’s excitement caused him to slow his pace, allowing the distance between the two to quickly close again.

And as he realized that even if Obstagoon defeated Aron and Chansey, they were too far to immediately reach him.

Baimu was already in position.

”Let go!”

Suddenly he hurled the dagger in his hand, and under the strong force, it turned into a flash of cold light, piercing into Jian’s wrist.

”Ah!”

He let out a scream, and the knife in his hand instantly fell to the ground.

In his panic, Jian covered his bleeding wrist, trying to pull out the dagger, but this delay allowed Baimu to reach him, delivering a flying kick that directly knocked him down!

”Umpf!”

Pinned to the ground, Jian groaned and then cried out in pain.

Because Baimu directly pressed on his back, ruthlessly wrenching his arms as if disassembling a robot figurine until they cracked with two crisp sounds, finally stopping when his shoulders shattered.

But this wasn’t the end.

The back of Jian’s knees were also stabbed by the dagger Baimu pulled from his wrist, and the dark red blood quickly soaked his gray uniform.

”Ahhhhhhhhhh —”

Jian let out an earth-shattering wail, his tears and snot quickly covering his previously arrogant face.

”Shut up!”

Baimu slapped him on the face, making his cheek swell, ”All this crying over a minor injury, growing to such a size for nothing!”

By rights, given Jian’s build, he should have been able to put up a fight.

Who knew this guy was worse than a slaughtered pig, whose struggles could at least be troublesome; Jian’s resistance was pathetically weak.

Ever since becoming a trainer, had he forgotten how to fight?

Baimu grabbed his hair, forcing him to look in Obstagoon’s direction, speaking coldly, ”So eager for a Pokémon to save you; as you wish, keep your eyes wide open!”

In the distance.

After awaking, Obstagoon shook its head, striving to clear its mind, and rushed towards Chansey, using blue light to restrain Mightyena.

”Gurr!”

However, the moment it jumped, a silver light appeared, hitting it like a hammer and sending it flying, rolling several times on the ground before stumbling to its feet.

”Ooh...”

It lifted its head, looking at the attacker Aron in the distance.

The opponent’s face was like its own, filled with signs of fatigue reaching the brink and about to deplete at any moment.

However.

Why were the other one’s eyes still so bright?

Obstagoon’s brain couldn’t comprehend, confused by the aftermath of the medicine, why this other’s points were still radiating amidst such a slaughter, bound by pain and fatigue, longing to sleep at this very moment.

Why could the eyes of Aron still shine as if none of this had ever happened?

As if.

All pain and fatigue had become insignificant due to some reason, as if inevitable victory awaited, as if an unbelievably beautiful tomorrow was waiting for the other.

Obstagoon was inexplicably annoyed by this look.

”Gurr!”

It roared hysterically, using all its power to press down Aron like a solid black wall, trying to lift its body and slam it hard to the ground.

But it failed.

Because when Obstagoon did so, beneath it, a bluish glow of life’s miracle appeared.

Countless fireflies surrounded Aron, rapidly enlarging the puppy-like body; its round head gave way to a ridge-like shape, with its back featuring more prominent spines and segmented steel armor.

Momentarily.

A fierce beast resembling an armored dragon appeared beneath Obstagoon, its light blue eyes filled with joy and confidence!

”Gurr!?”

Obstagoon was stunned, just about to take action but was pushed by a tremendous force!

And when it landed, Lairon struck the ground with its claws, causing the sand to crumble into an underground vortex, spinning violently!

”Gurr!”

Obstagoon inevitably slid into it, struggling only to sink further, soon half its body buried in the sand.

It tried to counterattack Lairon with Frozen Beam, but its energy was long depleted, unable to release even half a move.

Therefore, it could only watch itself getting buried by the sand.

And soon Mightyena was dragged by Lairon into this terrifying quicksand hell along with it.

The two Pokémon looked at each other, quickly lost consciousness, and completely passed out.

In the distance.

Jian hopelessly watched the scene, his mouth only letting out unconscious screams and groans due to the pain.

”Thank you, my Aron found the opportunity to evolve.”

Baimu said thank you, his expression cold as ice, dragging Jian by his hair, ignoring all cries of pain, heading back to where Chansey and Lairon were.

The latter two hurriedly met him.

”Lucky...”

”La!”

Chansey anxiously looked at Baimu’s bloodied arm, Lairon also showed concern.

”It’s fine, just a surface wound.”

Baimu smiled at the two, tearing open his sleeve with his mouth to show the protective gear beneath, bitten in several places, ”I made preparations beforehand.”

Though the blood flowed quite a bit, it hadn’t hurt any muscles or bones.

Chansey and Lairon finally relaxed.
