Eternal Thief

Ace consolidated his breakthrough and absorbed the new knowledge about his newly evolved thievish abilities and system rewards. But above all, Ace had gotten a new understanding of Darkness Order with Darkness Force and probably the correct way to use his prime law.

Lastly, after the life-and-death battle with Magister of Destruction, his sword heart had reached an advanced stage of authority, which was the pinnacle of Sword Heart, 100% comprehension was impossible unless he had a Sword Order like the Darkness Order.

Not only that but after reaching this stage in his mystic ability, Ace felt Prime Law devouring and evolving it, just like he felt when he used his sword heart with force.

But the biggest surprise, which made Ace ecstatic, was that he felt a void in his sword heart and instantly knew what it was. Without delay, he took out something from his inner world.

A long dark blue sword with a black hilt and edges appeared in his hand, instantly releasing a terrifying sharp intent.

===== Ace looked at Avos, who had evolved into Primordial Treasure with his last reward, and now Avos could use his primordial Qi without being destroyed by his Qi.

However, Avos was still ascension grade-1, weaker than his dual swords, so did he get the chance to use them? On the other hand, he didn’t dare to use it in front of the Magister of Destruction because he feared it might get damaged, especially since it wasn’t his Life Sword yet.

“Well, Avos, buddy, it seems now you can be my life sword after my sword heart evolved to an advanced stage. I hope I didn’t make you wait for too long.” Ace chuckled as he stated his intent.

Although Avos hadn’t helped him in any battle yet, it still imparted important knowledge about life, swords, and Mortal Ascension Heaven when he was ignorant and was absolutely loyal.

Furthermore, the Sword Spirit of Avos has already awakened its wisdom, just like Moira. Ace now had some idea of how difficult it was for a treasure spirit to awaken their wisdom since his dual swords were undergoing the same process, and he didn’t know how long it would take to become like Avos or Moira.

“Please don’t say something like this, Master. Without you, I wouldn’t be what I am today. I’m not even worthy of becoming your Life Sword!” Avos’s emotional voice rang; it now sounded like a wise old man.

Ace shook his head and sternly stated, “If you’re not qualified, I’m not sure whether I can ever find another sword like you. Besides, I trust you with my life, and that’s something to be proud of. So, accept your rightful position.”

“Thank you…” Avos’s voice was filled with gratitude and conviction as he solemnly stated, “From now on, I’ll protect you even if it means sacrificing myself!”

Ace nodded in acknowledgment, and the next moment, he started the Life Sword Ritual as he manifested his heart sword phantom.

The Sword Heart phantom was now extremely vivid, almost like a real sword, and the moment the Sword Heart manifested, Ace’s sword intent filled spread like a storm. Furthermore, there was still lingering intent of destruction and heavenly thunder, which seemed to merge with his sword heart.

If anything below Intermediate Law State dared to look at his sword heart phantom, their sword would be destroyed, and even Intermediate Law State cultivators’ souls would be wounded.

After adjusting to this feeling, Ace showed his intent, and the next moment, Avos instantly followed his intent, turned into a dark blue streak, and penetrated the sword heart phantom behind him.

The next moment, the sword heart phantom shimmered with darkness, and an invisible suction force was released and started to absorb his primordial Qi like a bottomless hole.

This was just as Ace remembered, and as his sword heart phantom absorbed primordial Qi, its color began to turn transparent, turning into colorless!

Furthermore, at this moment, Ace instantly sensed his prime law stirring, and the sword law he felt before began to change.

Ace’s eyes widened, ‘It’s just like before! I’m losing connection with the world’s sword law, and now it’s integrating with my prime law, which follows the Darkness Order!

‘It’s just like I thought; the correct way to use my law and darkness order is to integrate my laws into Darkness Order perfectly! They will become far more powerful laws after fully integrating into my darkness order!’ Ace’s eyes shimmered as he observed the life sword ritual and changes in his sword law.

Ace forgets about the passage of time as he submerges into this feeling until the Sword Heart phantom turns completely colorless and vanishes. But the next moment, a glyph shaped like a sword mark appeared on Ace’s glabella.

His nascent world suddenly trembled at this moment, and sword intent filled his world as if coming alive.

Ace’s eyes sprang open, and an illusion of a sword suddenly flashed past his sword before his aura skyrocketed! =====

[Congratulation, Host, your Prime Law: Darkness has reached 42% completion (2-Star Ascension Master)!]

=====

Ace smiled faintly after hearing the system’s notification and felt Avos’s presence in his heart with his other swords.

But before he could further investigate, another system prompt rang.

=====

Ace was startled when he saw the interface, and upon realizing what was going on, his expression became solemn, “Now, I understand what the role of Abyssal Architect Thief implies…”

The next moment, without hesitation, he coldly issued a command, “System, summon every house member for a House Meeting!”
