Next,

Fenric, Belle, and the others continued searching for supplies.

Several nearby houses had already been searched, and the rewards were quite good.

There were two pieces of equipment!

In addition to the previously found Dragon Scale Feather Robe, there was also a pair of shoes called Chasing the Stars and Stepping on the Moon.

These shoes could increase movement speed and provide a small amount of defense.

Fenric did not hesitate and put the shoes on.

Something remarkable happened!

Fenric felt that after wearing Chasing the Stars and Stepping on the Moon, his steps became lighter. He moved almost as if flying. Even while walking normally, his speed was noticeably faster.

Besides the two pieces of equipment, there were also several medicines and items.

The medicines included Grass Fruit ×5 (for recovering injuries), Golden Sore Medicine ×2 (for restoring health and vitality), and one Nine-Turn Resurrection Pill.

Among them, the most valuable item was the Nine-Turn Resurrection Pill!

The effect of this medicine was astonishing—it could actually resurrect the dead!

Only two special items were found: one was a hidden weapon dart, and the other was Demon-Repelling Incense.

Demon-Repelling Incense: After being lit, demons and ghosts will retreat for three times.

Fenric felt this item might become extremely useful.

Otherwise, why would the system place such an item here?

Besides equipment and items, there were also various foods from Fantasy Westward Journey, such as roast duck, steamed buns, and so on.

The mission duration was 72 hours.

A full three days.

Therefore, food was also very important for replenishing energy.

After finishing their search, Fenric returned to the agreed meeting point.

The others had already arrived earlier, and they visibly relaxed when they saw Fenric return.

”How was your harvest?” Fenric asked as soon as they met.

After hearing this, everyone reported their findings.

”I found some food here, including roast duck and red soup.”

”I found a strange weapon here. The system says it can increase damage by 279.”

”I found a necklace. The system says wearing it increases mental power by 89 points.”

After hearing their reports, Fenric smiled.

”That’s a good harvest! But everyone should remember—anything that comes with a system description must be collected. I always feel these items will be extremely useful.”

Aurora couldn’t help asking,

”This dungeon is really strange. Why would the system include these items?”

Fenric naturally couldn’t reveal that he recognized the equipment from Fantasy Westward Journey.

Instead, he asked in return,

”Why? Doesn’t the large-scale Battle Royale dungeon contain items like these?”

Aurora shook her head.

”No. And there’s usually no restriction on abilities either. Victory and defeat depend entirely on one’s own power.”

”I see,” Fenric nodded.

That explanation matched the usual unpredictable nature of the system.

At that moment,

Belle suddenly exclaimed,

”Sister! Shura! Look over there!”

Hearing this, everyone turned to the direction Belle was pointing.

They saw a glowing light curtain appearing along the distant horizon.

The light curtain formed a massive circle surrounding the entire island. Outside the curtain, the air had turned pale red, clearly unnatural.

”It’s the poison ring!”

Aurora said with a serious expression.

”In Battle Royale, there’s an identical poison circle.”

Everyone nodded.

Although Fenric had never personally participated in the large-scale Battle Royale dungeon, he had played this kind of game in his previous life, so he naturally understood the poison circle mechanic.

”Aurora, what happens if someone enters the poison ring?” Fenric asked.

Aurora frowned.

”They’ll slowly be poisoned to death.”

Then she added,

”It seems this multiplayer dungeon really follows the Battle Royale model.”

”We must pay attention to the poison circle.”

”Although it isn’t immediately dangerous to us, as time passes the poison ring will gradually expand, and the safe zone will shrink.”

”In other words, the poison circle will eventually force us to confront the enemy and fight for survival.”

Fenric nodded.

”I understand.”

Fenric was extremely familiar with the real Battle Royale gameplay mechanics, so he naturally knew how it worked.

”The poison ring is slowly approaching. We’ve almost finished searching this area. Let’s move.”

No one objected to Fenric’s decision.

Fenric added,

”Everyone stay alert. If anything unusual happens, warn the others immediately.”

Everyone nodded.

Soon afterward, the group continued moving forward.

…

Meanwhile, on the other side.

Thanos and his group had finally caught up with the group from the Dragon Ball world.

”Oh! Another enemy.”

Son Goku looked at the powerful Thanos with excitement.

”Vegeta, this time it’s my turn to fight first.”

”You look really strong!”

Vegeta snorted in disdain, though his eyes revealed clear interest in the fight.

Thanos looked at this group of strangely dressed young men and asked calmly,

”My subordinate… was he killed by you?”

”Are you talking about the ugly guy who looked like a monster?”

Goku scratched his head awkwardly.

”Sorry. Vegeta got a little carried away.”

Thanos remained expressionless and said coldly,

”Foolish humans. You will pay the price.”

Seeing the two still talking, Vegeta seemed unable to tolerate it anymore.

”Kakarot, what are you still standing there for? If you don’t want to fight, let me handle it!”

Goku quickly turned around.

”Vegeta, didn’t we agree to take turns? Just wait patiently.”

After saying that, Goku looked back at Thanos.

”Hey, big guy. Sorry about killing your companion. If you want revenge, then come at me!”

”Master!”

Proxima Midnight glared fiercely at Goku and gritted her teeth.

”Please allow me to take the enemy’s head!”

Corvus Glaive had been her lover, and naturally she hated the one who killed him.

Thanos said calmly,

”I haven’t stretched my muscles in a long time.”

Hearing this, Proxima Midnight lowered her head and stepped back without insisting.

Her loyalty to Thanos far exceeded her personal feelings for Corvus Glaive.

”Boom! Boom!”

Thanos’s footsteps caused the ground to tremble.

It clearly demonstrated the immense weight and power of his body.

Across from him, Son Goku suddenly became serious.

He could feel the overwhelming aura coming from Thanos.

The aura of a powerful warrior!

If he could still use ki and transform into a Super Saiyan, there would be nothing to worry about.

But now his abilities were restricted.

He could only rely on his raw strength and the martial arts techniques taught by Master Roshi.
