Samsara Tower: Only I Know the Plot!

”Master, this place is strange, and my abilities are no longer available.”

Behind him came the panicked voice of Ebony Maw.

When Thanos heard this, he did not turn around. He continued staring into the distance.

He had already noticed the issue Ebony Maw mentioned.

For example, he could clearly feel that his body had weakened considerably.

Originally, Thanos’s skin was nearly indestructible, capable of resisting cold, heat, electricity, radiation, poison, aging, and disease. At the same time, his mental abilities were almost invincible.

But now, he felt that these traits had been inexplicably weakened.

Fortunately, his strength remained!

”Master, what should we do?” General Corvus Glaive asked in a deep voice.

Thanos thought for a moment before replying, ”Search the surrounding area first. We must determine which galaxy we are in and contact the spacecraft as soon as possible.”

”Boom!”

Just after Thanos finished speaking, a loud explosion suddenly echoed from somewhere not far to the left.

Everyone was immediately alarmed by the sound and turned to look in that direction.

”It seems quite close,” Corvus Glaive said slowly. ”Master, I’ll go check it out.”

Thanos nodded.

With Thanos’s approval, Corvus Glaive immediately grabbed his scythe and hurried toward the source of the explosion.

A few minutes later, Corvus Glaive saw a group of people.

It was a very strange group.

The leader had a messy hairstyle and wore a martial arts uniform with the character ”Turtle” embroidered on the chest. His appearance looked ordinary, even a bit simple-minded. His body wasn’t extremely bulky, but his muscles were highly developed.

His bare arms were like carved granite, clearly filled with strength.

The second man had sharply spiked hair and stood about a head shorter than the leader. His face was full of arrogance, making it clear that he had a rebellious personality.

Behind the two stood a humanoid creature with dark green skin and antennae on his forehead.

There was also a short bald man with no nose, a three-eyed monk, and several others.

In total, there were nine people in this group.

Corvus Glaive hid in the woods and decided to observe them first.

At that moment, the small bald man without a nose spoke, his tone full of complaints.

”Goku, can you stop causing such huge disturbances? That explosion earlier might attract danger.”

Facing Krillin’s complaint, Son Goku simply laughed.

”Got it, Krillin! I’ll be more careful.”

Vegeta snorted disdainfully.

”What danger? I can defeat all enemies by myself!”

Hearing this, Krillin couldn’t help refuting him.

”Vegeta, you can’t say that. Right now we can’t sense ki anymore. Your strength must have dropped a lot. I’m afraid you can’t even become a Super Saiyan.”

”...”

Upon hearing this, Vegeta’s expression darkened.

He had already tried.

And indeed, he could not transform.

In other words, the only thing he could rely on now was his raw physical strength.

”Damn it! What kind of place is this?”

Vegeta turned to look at Goku with a furious expression and asked,

”Kakarot, can you still transform?”

At that moment,

No. 18, the woman among the group, suddenly focused her gaze on the woods where Corvus Glaive was hiding.

”Who’s hiding there? Come out!”

She was an android (before being restored to human), and her eyes possessed heat-sensing capabilities. Even though Corvus Glaive had hidden himself well, he couldn’t escape her detection.

”...”

Corvus Glaive was startled.

He had not expected to be discovered despite hiding so carefully.

However, since he had already been found, it didn’t matter.

His master was not far behind and would soon arrive. What was there to fear?

Thinking of this, Corvus Glaive calmly stepped out of the woods and walked toward Son Goku and the others.

Everyone frowned when they saw him.

Corvus Glaive looked extremely sinister—clearly not someone friendly.

”Who are you?” Krillin asked. ”Why were you hiding there?”

Corvus Glaive was about to scold him, but Vegeta spoke first.

”Why waste words with this guy? Just kill him!”

As soon as he finished speaking, Vegeta shot toward Corvus Glaive like an arrow.

”!!”

Corvus Glaive was startled. He hadn’t expected Vegeta to attack without warning, nor did he expect this strange man to move so quickly.

In the blink of an eye, Vegeta was already in front of him.

Corvus Glaive hurriedly swung his scythe while retreating at the same time.

”Too slow!”

With a sneer on his face, Vegeta easily dodged the attack and punched Corvus Glaive directly in the abdomen.

”Pu!”

Corvus Glaive’s stomach was punched straight through.

When Vegeta withdrew his hand and stood calmly on the spot, Corvus Glaive had already turned into a corpse.

He was completely dead.

”Vegeta, y-you’re being too reckless! We didn’t even ask him for clues yet.”

Krillin wanted to scold Vegeta but didn’t dare push too hard, leaving him with a headache.

Vegeta was simply too ruthless. Among everyone present, only his old friend Son Goku could restrain him.

Vegeta himself knew he had acted too impulsively, but after being inexplicably trapped in this place, he needed somewhere to vent his anger.

In response to Krillin’s complaint, Vegeta merely snorted and ignored him.

”Hey, Vegeta, that’s unfair!”

At that moment, Son Goku spoke.

But what he said was, ”Since you killed that enemy, the next one is mine!”

Hearing this, Krillin nearly fainted.

”Goku! Don’t rush. Let’s keep moving,” Piccolo reminded them.

After hearing that, everyone continued forward.

Not long after Goku and the others left, Thanos and his group finally arrived.

Seeing Corvus Glaive’s corpse lying on the ground, Thanos’s face turned extremely ugly.

”Father, there are footprints here. They go in that direction,” Thanos’s adopted daughter Gamora said.

When Thanos heard this, he coldly spoke a single word:

”Chase.”

…

Meanwhile,

Fenric continued searching the house.

In another room, Fenric discovered a box.

When he opened it, a peculiar medicinal fragrance rushed out. At the bottom of the box, Fenric saw a strange pill.

It was actually a leaf holding five tiny pills of different colors.

Seeing the pills, Fenric’s eyes narrowed.

If he remembered correctly, there was only one medicine that looked like this:

Five Dragon Pills!

A high-level medicine from the online game Fantasy Westward Journey. Its main effect was restoring a small amount of health and removing abnormal status effects.

When Fenric picked it up, the system prompt confirmed his guess.

”Precious medicine from the East Sea Dragon Palace: Restores health and removes abnormal status effects.”

Without hesitation, Fenric placed the Five Dragon Pills into his backpack.

Fenric believed the system wouldn’t place items from Fantasy Westward Journey here for no reason.

They would definitely be useful.
