Samsara Tower: Only I Know the Plot!

At this time, Fenric had already returned home. Skynet—no, Diana, was mopping the floor and cleaning the house.

”Brother, you’re back?”

Fenric said, ”Stop cleaning for now. Pack your things. We’re moving later.”

”Moving?” Diana asked suspiciously. ”It’s pretty nice here! Why do we have to move?”

”There are some annoying flies around!”

”Flies?”

Diana looked around with a cute, puzzled expression. ”There aren’t any!”

From this alone, it was obvious that Diana’s way of thinking was different from that of ordinary humans. The ”flies” Fenric was referring to were the people next door, but Diana could only understand his words literally. In other words, Diana’s current way of thinking was similar to that of a pure and innocent human being.

”Just listen to me.” Fenric didn’t bother explaining further. ”We’ll move somewhere better.”

”Okay.”

Diana was very obedient. After all, although the two appeared to be siblings, their actual relationship was that of master and servant. Fenric was the master, while Diana was the servant. Naturally, she would obey him.

Afterward, the two began packing their things. Of course, Diana had almost nothing to pack. She only needed to bring two sets of clothes; most of the belongings belonged to Fenric.

Once they finished packing, Vivienne still hadn’t sent over the address, so Fenric turned on his computer and prepared to look up the strategy guide for the nineteenth floor of the Samsara Tower.

Online, the discussion about him crushing Adam and Fengshen last night was still extremely lively. Many people now regarded Fenric as both an idol and a hero! This incident had earned Fenric an enormous amount of prestige. Unfortunately, Fenric was now solely focused on pursuing greater strength and couldn’t care less about such empty fame.

Fenric opened the Samsara Forum, and a post immediately caught his attention. ”Important News! Great God Shura Is Leading a Dungeon Run—Limited Slots!”

That was the title of the post. It was incredibly popular. Judging from the posting time, it had been uploaded less than an hour ago, yet it already had thousands of replies! Even more strangely, the post had been featured and pinned to the top. Obviously, its contents had received official recognition.

Fenric froze for a moment before clicking on the post.

”Important news! Great God Shura possesses a Multiplayer Dungeon Card, which allows multiple people to enter an independent dungeon together. The maximum number of participants can reach several dozen!”

”This dungeon run will personally be led by Great God Shura. I believe that with Great God Shura leading the team, there’s absolutely no chance of failure. The run will begin tonight. There are currently seven available slots. Anyone interested should sign up as soon as possible!”

”Registration requirements: Comprehensive strength must reach A-level. Samsara with healing abilities will be given priority!”

”Registration method: Send your personal information to the mailbox: 321.Ccom! After verification, Aurora Morwyn will personally review the applicants and determine the final candidates.”

”In addition, we’re also interested in purchasing additional Multiplayer Dungeon Cards. The price is negotiable. Anyone interested may contact XXXX.”

That was the information posted by the original poster.

Seeing this information, Fenric frowned. There was no doubt about it! This post must have been published under Vivienne’s instructions. But what exactly was Vivienne trying to accomplish by making such a public announcement? Fenric didn’t believe that Vivienne couldn’t find seven A-level Samsara herself. Given Vivienne’s status and official background, her network of connections was undoubtedly enormous. Unlike Fenric, who was essentially a lone wolf focused entirely on clearing the Samsara Tower and barely had any friends, Vivienne should have found seven A-level Samsara with ease. There was absolutely no need to recruit people this way. Obviously, Vivienne had done this for one reason—to deliberately spread the news!

”What the hell is that woman trying to do? Forget it. Since I’ve already decided to let her find the people, there’s no point worrying about it.”

Fenric still hadn’t realized just how famous the name Shura had become throughout Jadeveil—and even across the entire world. He continued scrolling through the post.

…

D@***p**: ”Holy shit, seriously? Boss Shura is actually willing to carry people through a dungeon!?”

N***d**: ”Didn’t you see that the post was pinned? And the person responsible for reviewing the applicants is Lord Murong Bixue. It has to be real!”

Hr***d**: ”Fuck! Boss Shura is personally carrying the run! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Too bad my comprehensive strength hasn’t even reached B-level.”

Yr*l**0: ”This is Boss Shura himself leading the team! I’m so jealous my eyes are turning red!”

U***gf**: ”I wonder if the requirements can be relaxed! I want to get in too. I have money, and I’m willing to pay. Just name the price!”

We**a**d: ”Idiot upstairs, do you seriously think Boss Shura is short of money? Or that Boss Aurora Morwyn needs your money?”

S**e**d: ”Damn! Boss Shura is actually willing to lead people through a dungeon? I hate that my comprehensive strength hasn’t reached A-level!”

Qr*u***: ”Multiplayer Dungeon Card? Why have I never heard of such a thing?”

R*n*l: ”Upstairs +1. I’ve only ever heard of Personal Dungeon Cards. This is the first time I’ve heard of a Multiplayer Dungeon Card.”

Sh***n**: ”I’m a girl, I’m very beautiful, and this is my first time. Can Lord Shura take me along? I can be your girlfriend!”

B***r: ”The girl upstairs really has a nice plan. Women who want to become Boss Shura’s girlfriend could probably form a line around the entire planet. Who do you think you are?”

…

The replies beneath the post were filled with all kinds of envy, jealousy, and resentment. Everyone desperately wished they could secure a spot and join the run. In the blink of an eye, dozens more replies appeared, clearly demonstrating just how popular the post had become.

Obviously, the news that ”Shura has decided to personally lead a dungeon run” was no different from dropping a nuclear bomb on the entire Samsara community! Everyone knew how powerful Boss Shura was! This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be carried straight to victory!

Fenric merely skimmed through a few replies before losing interest. He could roughly guess one or two reasons why Vivienne had deliberately released the news, but he didn’t care whether his guess was correct. As long as it didn’t interfere with his plans, it didn’t matter!

Fenric closed the post and entered the strategy section. Soon, he found the strategy guides for the nineteenth floor of the Samsara Tower. When he saw the names of the dungeons available on the nineteenth floor, Fenric froze, revealing a surprised expression. There were actually two dungeon options on the nineteenth floor of the Samsara Tower!

Normal Difficulty: The Shining

Hard Difficulty: Pacific Rim

…

While Fenric was studying the strategy guides, news that he intended to lead others through a dungeon had already spread rapidly, causing an enormous uproar. Countless people who received the news became excited. Those with connections immediately began looking for people who could help them! Those without backgrounds simply sent their information to the designated mailbox and registered according to the requirements. Although the rules clearly stated that applicants needed at least A-level comprehensive strength, countless B-level and even C-level Samsara still submitted their information. Of course, these people weren’t necessarily stupid. When submitting their applications, they included additional requests or explanations. Their reasoning was simple! Rules were dead, but people were alive. Who knew? Perhaps a miracle might happen!

Soon, Vivienne’s secretary’s mailbox was completely overwhelmed! In less than an hour, she had received tens of thousands of emails, while Vivienne herself wasn’t idle either. She had answered so many phone calls that her hand was practically going numb!

At that moment, Vivienne suddenly began to hate how extensive her network of connections was! Far too many people wanted to use their relationships to enter through the back door. She had barely hung up one call when the phone rang again less than a second later! The identity of the caller wasn’t insignificant either, so even Vivienne couldn’t simply ignore it.

”Hello?”

”Xiao Song, it’s me! Your Uncle Wu.”

”I recognized your voice, Uncle Wu. Good afternoon.”

”Mm. How has Elder Song been lately? I’ve been busy recently and haven’t had the time to visit him.”

”Thank you for asking, Uncle Wu. Grandpa is in excellent health.”

”Then I can rest easy. By the way, Xiao Song, I heard Shura has a Multiplayer Dungeon Card and is looking for people to join him?”

”Yes.”

”Perfect! My son happens to be free. I’ll have him report to you later!”

”Wait, Uncle Wu. I know your son too. His comprehensive strength seems to be only C-level, right? Shura’s requirement is that participants must have at least A-level comprehensive strength!”

”Hey! Xiao Song, aren’t you the one in charge of reviewing the candidates? Just make an exception and let Wu Yi participate. I’ll definitely remember this favor.”

”Uncle Wu, although I’m responsible for reviewing the candidates, the requirements were personally set by Shura. I can’t make an exception for Wu Yi. I’m really sorry.”

”Xiao Song, why don’t you help me ask Shura? Ask him if there’s anything he wants. As long as it’s something I can obtain, there won’t be a problem.”

”Uncle Wu, are you asking me to offend him?”

”How could that offend him? You have such a good relationship with Shura. He even entrusted the recruitment process to you.”

Vivienne interrupted him. ”No matter how good our relationship is, I still need to know my limits. Uncle Wu, you should understand that principle even better than I do. Alright, Uncle Wu, I’m a little busy right now. We’ll talk again later.”

As soon as she finished speaking, Vivienne hung up the phone and let out a heavy breath. For the first time, she realized that dealing with people could be such an exhausting job! After that, Vivienne simply switched her phone to airplane mode. She didn’t want to answer another call.

However, she barely had a moment of peace before the landline on her desk began ringing. Vivienne originally intended to ignore it, but when she saw the caller’s number, her beautiful expression changed slightly, and she immediately answered.

”Hello! This is Vivienne.”

”Xiao Song! This is #@-¥.”

A kind voice came through the phone. Vivienne’s expression immediately became serious as she loudly replied, ”Hello, sir!”

That’s right. The call had come from the very center of the capital! Even the highest-ranking leader had been alerted! Although Vivienne possessed terrifying strength comparable to a Demon God, she still held deep respect for the country’s highest-ranking leader and didn’t dare show the slightest negligence.

”Xiao Song! Did I disturb you?”

”Of course not, sir. What instructions do you have?”

”No instructions. I simply heard that Shura intends to lead a group through a dungeon and that the authority to select the participants is currently in your hands. Is that true?”

”Yes.” Vivienne answered truthfully.

The supreme leader didn’t make any unreasonable demands. He simply said, ”Xiao Song, when selecting the candidates, I hope you’ll give some consideration to talented people who are loyal to the organization. Given the country’s current situation, we’re short on capable manpower everywhere.”

”Understood, sir!”

Vivienne couldn’t refuse such a request because she herself was part of the system. After hanging up the call with the highest-ranking official, Vivienne let out another heavy sigh. She felt as though she had made things much bigger than expected. ”I wonder if Grandpa can handle this.”

At that moment, someone knocked on the door.

”Knock! Knock! Knock!”

”Come in!” Vivienne quickly pulled herself together.

The door opened. Her secretary walked in and reported, ”Commander, as of now, the mailbox has received sixteen thousand emails, all from people recommending themselves.”

Vivienne froze and subconsciously asked, ”Are there really that many A-level Samsara in Daxia?”

”They aren’t all Samsara with A-level comprehensive strength. Only a few dozen emails came from actual A-level Samsara. The rest are people trying their luck.”

Vivienne’s beautiful face darkened. ”If they haven’t reached A-level, don’t waste time on them.”

”Understood!” The secretary then continued, ”There’s one more matter. After our people arrived at Mr. Shura’s residential community, the targets became extremely alert. It seems they may have realized they were being watched. What should we do now?”

”Gather all nearby personnel and arrest them immediately. Don’t let a single one escape!”

”Understood!”

…

Fenric was still studying the strategy guide at home. He was familiar with both dungeons available on the nineteenth floor. Back on his previous Earth, The Shining was a horror movie. Since it was only Normal Difficulty, Fenric naturally wasn’t interested. Pacific Rim, on the other hand, was a science-fiction movie centered around battling monsters. Its story mainly involved humanity developing enormous mecha warriors to resist invading monsters! With his current strength, Fenric felt that taking on the monsters in Pacific Rim alone shouldn’t be a problem! This was the advantage of having such a powerful foundation. Under normal circumstances, most Samsara players capable of reaching the nineteenth floor of the Samsara Tower only possessed upper B-level strength, while those with exceptional talent and luck might reach A-level. No one at the same stage could possibly possess strength comparable to Fenric’s! Therefore, although Pacific Rim was extremely difficult for ordinary Samsara players, it wasn’t particularly difficult for Fenric. He could kill the enormous monsters inside single-handedly without relying on giant mecha.

Just as Fenric was studying the strategy guide, a sudden commotion erupted next door. Fenric even thought he heard the muffled sound of gunfire fitted with silencers.

”Brother, it sounds like there’s a fight next door. Can I go take a look?” Diana asked eagerly.

”Don’t bother with it,” Fenric said. He guessed that Vivienne had probably sent people to capture the girl next door. After all, he had only told Vivienne about the matter.

”Okay...” Diana looked disappointed.

At that moment, rapid knocking suddenly came from the door.

”Knock! Knock! Knock!”

Diana immediately said, ”I’ll open it.” As she spoke, she ran toward the door.

The next moment, a disheveled yet beautiful figure rushed inside. It was the girl from next door.

”Help! Someone’s trying to kidnap me!!”
