RE: LORD OF TIME

”Overload.”

The instant William used the ability he had obtained from the Titan Ape’s Bloodline Essence Crystal, his heart thumped wildly, and every ounce of his physical strength gathered at a single point.

The muscles of the arm swinging Blood Moon swelled, and a violent aura of pure, raw power erupted from his body, even blowing away the surrounding air.

Overload was an ability that allowed him to unleash a devastating attack at the cost of using all of his physical strength and stamina.

It was like a charged attack that consumed all of his physical strength to unleash a terrifying blow.

This ability was William’s trump card since his physical body had always been one of his strongest aspects.

And after obtaining the Origin Grade Vampire Bloodline, his physical strength had been enhanced even further, making this ability even more powerful when used.

As such, the moment he used Overload, Hans, the Star Lord facing his attack felt his heart turn cold.

He was already baffled when William suddenly manifested the power of his Sword Dominator Trait, as he felt a sharp, stabbing pain all over his body.

But the pressure brought by Overload was on a completely different level.

Moreover, the Sword Dominator Trait increased the power of every move related to swords by 350%.

And since William used Blood Moon as the medium to release the power of Overload, its power was also enhanced by 350%.

Hummm!!

A devastating sword hum echoed across the entire bandit hideout as the power of Rendering Moon Slash, enhanced by the Sword Domain and Overload, engulfed everything.

Simon, who was standing in the distance couldn’t help but show a look of fear as he rapidly retreated, looking at the brilliant sword light that engulfed everything behind him.

The instant Hans’s saber collided with Blood Moon, it instantly turned into powder under the terrifying sword light.

Hans felt a terrifying power enter his body through the destroyed saber, and to his horror, he saw his body beginning to collapse and disintegrate into a mist of blood under the terrifying sword light.

”Spare m—”

Hans wasn’t even able to finish begging for mercy before his entire body disappeared from the face of the world, leaving behind nothing.

William, who was under the effects of Soul Burst, Time Acceleration, and Time Perception, saw everything in slow motion.

He watched as Hans’s body slowly disappeared before his eyes.

Seeing such a scene, even William was dumbfounded because the power of his attack had far exceeded his expectations.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

The sword light swept through an area of two hundred meters, destroying everything in its path.

Large rocks, walls, watchtowers...

Everything inside the hideout within two hundred meters of William completely disappeared, turning into dust.

As the aftermath of William’s attack slowly disappeared, Simon looked at the devastated area with shock-filled eyes.

But soon, his shock was replaced by fervor.

”As expected of My Lord! He is mighty beyond belief!”

He spoke excitedly, completely failing to consider that if William were truly the Blood Ancestor, such a small feat should have been incredibly easy for him.

But this was also the effect of Heart Devourer.

As long as someone was given a Mind Suggestion, the targeted person wouldn’t think about any logical loopholes and would simply follow the suggestion given to them without questioning it.

Just like how Lucas had gone to Rosco Barony and never questioned why he even needed to go there.

Simon was the same.

Despite William’s current cultivation level, he was already the mighty Blood Ancestor in Simon’s eyes.

William leaned against Blood Moon, using it to support his body as he panted heavily.

Even with the recovery speed of his Vampire Bloodline, he found it difficult to remain standing.

’Damn it, I never thought that even with my Vampire Bloodline, using Overload would be so exhausting...’

William cursed inwardly as he weakly sat down on the ground, feeling as if he had been running for years without rest.

With shaky hands, he took out several Minor Stamina Potions from his storage ring and gulped them down.

But even with the help of the stamina potions, he did not feel much better.

Currently, his entire body felt like a dry pool that had exhausted every ounce of its strength.

Even as the stamina potions entered his body, they only made his exhausted body feel somewhat more comfortable, but they were far from enough to restore him.

’I thought that with the monstrous recovery ability provided by my bloodline, I would be able to recover in just a few minutes even after using Overload, but it seems I was wrong...’

Feeling how his Immortal Blood Heart was desperately trying to restore his body, William took a deep breath.

’It seems I need at least half an hour of rest just to barely regain my strength, and to return to my peak condition, it will take at least a few hours.’

And this was even considering the recovery ability provided by his bloodline. If it weren’t for it, he might have had to rest for a day or two just to regain enough strength to walk properly after using Overload.

William looked at the destruction he had caused and still felt a lingering shock in his heart.

’But considering the power of that attack... This kind of weakness for a few hours is definitely worth it.’

”My Lord, are you alright?”

Simon hurried over to William and asked worriedly.

”I am fine...” William answered lightly and took out a few more pieces of roasted meat.

’It’s good that I used Overload now to understand the full scope of its power and disadvantages...’

He once again glanced at the devastated area.

’If I were to use it in a crucial situation without knowing its limits, it might have been dangerous. Especially if I used it when my allies were nearby.’

It was another reason William had used Overload.

Since the moment he had obtained this ability, he hadn’t used it even once.

Thus, he had been completely unaware of its actual power.

Now that he knew its exact strength and how long it would take him to recover afterward, he would be able to utilize it properly in the future.

After eating enough food to fill the stomachs of an entire family, William finally felt full.

At the same time, his Immortal Blood Heart rapidly converted the food into energy, allowing his body to recover faster.

Around twenty minutes later, William felt that he had recovered some of his combat power so he stood up and looked toward the deeper area of the hideout.

”Simon, let’s go and check out the things you mentioned earlier.”
