The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

Klaus spent 4 hours emptying the last of the space crystals.

“That was a huge haul,” Klaus said with a smile. “Coming to Mars was a good idea.”

He flew toward Lunara and held her by the waist, planting a kiss on her lips. After the kiss, he looked toward the third region, and soon, they went on exploring the other region.

Meanwhile, back on Earth, a sudden chill fell over the place where Anna was training. This drew Klaus, Mom, and the ladies’ attention.

“Anna is coming out,” Lucy said with a smile, moving closer to the edge of the platform. The rest of her sisters did the same as Anna walked out holding her staff.

She looked toward her sister, mused. The tribulation cloud had already started forming, so she knew she had to be ready to face the heavens.

Thankfully, she had prepared well before the breakthrough, so when the five minutes were drawing close, she activated a formation-type spell that immediately enveloped a 30-meter radius around her with chilling energy.

“Looks like she will also be invoking a Tier 10 tribulation thanks to Klaus’s blood,” Queenie said, causing Tess to tense. Without any hesitation, Tess vanished and appeared beside Anna.

“Klaus said I can help you with your tribulation. This is a Tier 1o tribulation, so let me help,” Tess said, taking Anna’s hand. However, Anna shook her head. “I can handle this one, Tess. Maybe the next one.”

Clearly, Tess didn’t want to risk it by allowing her sister to handle the tribulation alone. She looked at the tribulation forming, and a sigh escaped her lips.

“I will be just there. At the sign of trouble, I will come to your aid,” Anna nodded with a smile as she watched Tess vanish back to the platform.

A couple of seconds after Tess left, the tribulation started. The first level was a lightning bolt that tore through the air and pierced towards Lily.

However, it landed on a water shield, which absorbed everything.

The second had the same setting; however, instead of a thin bolt like the first, this one was much more powerful and larger. Anna remained immobile, as if she weren’t concerned about anything.

“It looks like her tribulations are about defending against the lightning bolts,” Klaus’s mom said, and the ladies nodded.

“This means if it was anything like Lucy’s own, then she needs to handle five more… won’t that be too much?” She was worried.

But it wasn’t her fault.

For someone like her, who doesn’t have even an ounce of fighting power in her, the lightning bolts coming were just too much for someone as small as Anna.

However, the ladies calmed her down and assured her that Lily would be fine, which brought her some peace.

“She will be fine, mother. It’s just something small for her,” Nari said, making sure she calmed down. But by the time she recovered, Anna had already passed the fourth lightning bolt.

It took just 15 minutes, but even after the thickest lightning bolt any of them had ever seen came, Anna stood in the same place. In fact, she didn’t move a muscle or flinch throughout the entire tribulation.

This was thanks to the spell Anna used. The spell circle she activated from the start of the tribulation was comparable to a Tier 13 spell, which is a spell only a few at the Chaos stage (Tier 12) can harness.

Only those at the Ascension stage (Tier 13) can cast such a spell, yet Anna did, and this was due to a visit she received from her past self, just like with her sister.

But unlike her sister, she received her visit during her training, so this spell was something she received two weeks ago. Thankfully, her past self gave her more than what Lucy received.

Aside from the Reincarnation Key that would allow her to regain her memories eventually, she received this Tier 13 defense spell, a Tier 13 attack spell, and even a heads-up on the type of tribulation she would be having.

Her past self was much more useful than her sister’s, and thankfully, she was right to trust in her past self.

Now, a domain of ice appeared around her, and she was encased in a thick fortress of ice. Three hours later, the ice came undone, and she walked out.

The first thing everyone noticed was her hair.

It had changed, and while she could still be called blonde depending on the lighting, her hair was now a mix of three colors.

The major color was blue, representing her ice element, with blonde or perhaps golden strands showing her golden water affinity.

The silver was just a beautiful decoration.

She held her Ice Queen staff and was clad in a gentle gown adorned with ice gems. She looked elegant, and looking at her blue eyes, Klaus’s mom couldn’t hold back her smile and curiosity.

“Looking at her clothes, it makes me wonder if you two were sisters in your past life,” Lucy smiled, hearing her words.

Of course, she knew the answer; she and Anna, the connection they shared from long before they met—even Klaus—was plain to her now. They indeed were close, perhaps sisters in their past lives.

Now, watching the beauty flying toward them, she couldn’t help but smile happily. The ladies welcomed her, and after learning what they could about her, Klaus’s mom fixed her perfectly fine hair.

Ten hours later, the air grew sharper, signaling another tribulation.

This time, it was Lily’s turn to break through. However, unlike Anna, who brought chill thanks to her ice element, and Lucy, who grew a forest, Lily brought with her a razor-sharp wind that was cutting everything within 10 km of her.

In fact, when her wind element and sword qi merged, the ladies found it hard to endure, so they moved the platform back to distance themselves from her.

The wind grew wild, and Pickle Berry had to seal the space around her to restrict the damage Lily’s wind element was causing.

It was like the little snake human knew what Lily was capable of, so she wasted no time and went all out to block her wind cutters.

Naturally, Pickle Berry was scared of the sweet Lily because she knew her past self.

Yes, Lily came from Kaden’s time. He was Klaus’s 8th incarnation and also the one who actively opposed the heavens and stole from them.
