The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

The forbidden records label the Asura race as abominations.

They are beings who crave blood. They love battles where blood is abundant.

It was said that their number one enemy was the vampires. Two beings with blood can’t exist in harmony.

This was why one of Klaus’s enemies was the vampires.

His race, the Asura Borns, was created for battle. They are the ultimate weapon; as long as there is blood, they will fight and keep fighting until nothing is left to battle.

Right now, Queenie, who hadn’t yet awakened her Asura bloodline but had already taken steps in that direction, was moving through the air with eyes filled with blood intent.

Her sword is bathed in blood, and her moves leave trails of blood in her wake.

The mark of the Asura appeared on her forehead when she started using the [Asura Blood Transformation Art].

The first form was the [Blood Berserker], which, when she activated it, granted her strength like none other.

Her speed increased.

Her strength multiplied, and her stamina reached all-new heights.

However, that only allowed her to do minor damage. Yet, as if she were in a competition with her mother, the diagram moved to the second form.

“Asura’s Phantom Form”

The moment she muttered that, her speed exploded, and like a string woven in the air, her attacks filled the space.

Hundreds of crimson sword arcs filled the air, descending on the snake. But that wasn’t all; she raised her sword and activated a skill Klaus knew all too well.

“Infinity Blood Swords”

The sky was filled with thousands of blood swords, and powerful energy descended on the snake, freezing its advances completely.

She used this skill against Klaus when her past self met his past self. It was a skill that made him aware he was just joking around with his life.

“Die, you scum!”

Her hateful voice echoed as the blood swords descended right when the sword arcs finished attacking the snake.

They rained down on the snake, creating a powerful explosion.

The skill is one of the core skills of the Asura race.

It’s from a larger technique set called [Asura Blood Menace Art]. Naturally, she should only be able to unleash 400 swords at her current mastery.

However, when she used the transformation, her control reached a different level, allowing her to unleash thousands.

Now, looking at the snake’s body, she couldn’t help but allow a smirk to appear on her face.

However, something caught her attention, which made her wipe the smirk off her face and distance herself.

The moment she did, the snake’s body burst with energy as a red line appeared on her skin, bringing with it red lightning.

[Brat, the heavens are targeting your Asura wife]

The senior was very angry at the shameful display the heavens were putting up. His words are filled with anger.

When the battle was about to be four against one, the heavens used a skill to create four powerful versions of the snake. This was something that shouldn’t be possible, yet they made it happen.

And now, when Queenie used the Asura skill, they took offense, causing tribulation lightning to appear inside the Ice-type snake.

Lightning appeared out of nowhere just to end her existence.

Klaus, who heard what the senior said, turned and looked in Queenie’s direction for a split second before scoffing.

“She will be fine.”

The confidence in his tone showed he wasn’t worried.

Why?

Because the third diagram appeared behind Queenie, the third of the seven transformations was active.

She smirked again at the snake, which now held foreign energy inside its body.

“Demonic Blood Armor.” She activated the third diagram, forming a crimson blood armor around her body.

This armor overlapped perfectly with her normal armor.

Meanwhile, the snake opened its mouth, causing red lightning to form into an orb, ready to be spat out.

The lightning shot from its mouth, closing in on Queenie instantly. She slashed her sword and severed the orb in two, causing it to explode.

But the moment the lightning exploded, she knew she had fallen into a trap. The lightning from the explosion formed a barrier around her, locking her in place.

Then the eyes of the snake shone, and a beam of piercing lightning shot out and landed squarely on her chest, threatening to pierce her through.

However, the bolt of red lightning only stopped at her chest, causing Queenie to look up and smirk again. It was like she was covered in the strongest metal.

“Performance issues?” she taunted the heavens, knowing this was their doing. This meant Klaus didn’t have to warn her about what to do.

She knew killing the snakes was what the heavens were after.

But while she knew that, the Great Calamity fighting on their side was rolling a different ball game. A part of Nari knew this wasn’t something she could play with.

So her Phoenix wings appeared, and wielding her bow, arrow after arrow rained down hard on the snake.

Naturally, the snake was supposed to be the one with the upper hand. However, Nari, who hadn’t even taken her Spearman or Beast form, was overwhelming the snake.

“Klaus said if the target isn’t doing much, just bathe them in flames.” Nari smiled as she moved across the landscape, unleashing a barrage of arrows.

Each arrow had golden runes running around it, which meant that Klaus’s Star Monarch’s blood was in effect. Naturally, this was something that could hurt the heavens.

“Should I use it?” she muttered, watching as the snake was being pushed back further and further. She looked back and saw Queenie and her mother facing their opponents.

She looked at the Blood and Flame Diagram behind them and smiled.

This made her want to use her own transformation technique. However, she changed her mind when the queen created a chance for a kill, missed her attack, and switched to sealing the snake instead.

This immediately gave her the message she wanted to hear.

Klaus is smart.

From the moment the senior warned him about heaven’s scheme, he started using 26 of the 27 minds he had to devise the best way to trick the heavens.

Naturally, all outcomes arrived at the same conclusion: his ladies dying under heaven’s punishment, except Queenie.

She is Asura, so she recognizes the heavens and their schemes. This made her aware of what had to be done and what not to do.

However, the other two ladies don’t. He also cannot tell them directly, and all the methods he planned to use were risky. Even the paragon mark wasn’t something he considered.

The heavens are unpredictable in this regard.

However, that all changed when he felt the queen stare at him. Klaus is no psychic, but at that moment, he knew that for someone to look at him like that during such a chaotic battle meant something wasn’t right.

He immediately factored that in, and the plan came. So he used a saber move to write something in the air. The moment the queen saw that, she also knew what had to be done.

Thus, while she had the upper hand, the moment she switched to sealing the snake meant she didn’t want to kill it.

Nari saw the message and knew she must not kill the snake. So she didn’t use the transformation. Instead, she retrieved a 2-meter-long arrow and made it hover.

“Dark Flames Tempering Art”

The heavens were about to have a nasty evening once the arrow was done being tempered.

Klaus also has 27 of his minds running in the battle now.
