National Awakening: My Left Eye Copies My Right Eye and Sublimates

27: Have we walked into the wolf’s den again? For Talents below S-Rank, each amplification can raise their Rank by one.

However, once a Talent reaches S-Rank, each amplification will only increase its progress by one step.

This is equivalent to using a Talent Potion; a certain number must be consumed to allow the Talent to advance further.

To advance from S-Rank Talent to SS-Rank Talent, ten amplifications are required.

”Ten times isn’t a lot, but it still requires some time. It seems I need to plan the use of amplification opportunities carefully.”

After analyzing and roughly understanding the amplification mechanism, Xia Qi made a decision.

For now, he wouldn’t upgrade his S-Rank Talent, but instead, he would first amplify his other lower-Rank Talents.

”Two amplification opportunities a day means sixty times a month.”

Theoretically, as long as Xia Qi amplifies reasonably, by the time the college entrance exam arrives in a month, he will possess at least five SS-Rank Talents.

Furthermore, within this month, he might even be able to further increase the Rank of his Congenital Double Pupils, which would also increase his amplification opportunities.

Having six, or even seven, SS-Rank Talents isn’t impossible.

”I’m still short on money; it’s simply not enough!”

Looking at the number behind Congenital Double Pupils, which required a high 500 points to upgrade, it meant Xia Qi still needed to purchase fifty Talent Potions to raise it to Rank 3.

”At four million per potion, that’s two hundred million!”

Thinking of this, Xia Qi decisively used his last amplification opportunity of the day on Little Lucky.

”Amplified A-Rank Talent Little Lucky, acquired S-Rank Talent Lucky.”

【Talent: Lucky (Copy Amplification)】

【Quality: S-Rank】

【Effect: You are favored by the goddess of luck; you will have continuous good fortune.】

”Continuous good fortune, very good, I like it.”

As expected, the amplified Little Lucky transformed into an S-Rank Talent, now directly becoming continuous good fortune.

It was clearly much better than just having luck that was out of the ordinary.

”Continuous good fortune, I look forward to tomorrow.”

After the amplification, Xia Qi contentedly fell into a deep sleep, entering dreamland.

Early the next morning, as the sun’s rays scattered, Xia Qi woke up early.

Besides going into a dungeon to kill monsters today, there was another very important matter: going to the Professional Guild for a class change.

After a quick tidy-up and breakfast, Xia Qi eagerly took a public bus to the Professional Guild.

The Professional Guild was located in the very center of Jiangcheng, not actually far from First High School.

After about a twenty-minute ride, Xia Qi got off the bus and saw the towering modern building before him.

Fifty stories high, over 130 meters tall, it was the tallest building in Jiangcheng.

As soon as he entered the lobby, a sweet Young Miss greeted him at the entrance.

”Sir, are you here for a class change?”

”Yes, that’s right, here for a class change.”

”Please go up to the third floor for class changes.”

”Okay.”

Under the warm reception, Xia Qi was led to the elevator by the welcoming Young Miss, who pressed the button for the third floor.

Upon reaching the third floor, Xia Qi realized that, apart from the staff, he was the only person in the entire class change hall.

Today was the second day after Awakening Day, and most students were only at Rank 5, so it was impossible for anyone to come for a class change yet.

Normally, the peak period for class changes would be about a week to ten days later.

By then, students from various high schools would have mostly reached Rank 10, and the place would be packed.

”Excuse me, how do I change classes?”

Entering the class change hall, over a dozen Young Misses in black stockings and neat attire were positioned at various reception windows.

Hearing someone inquire about a class change so early in the morning, everyone’s gaze collectively turned to Xia Qi.

”This handsome young man, are you here to change classes?”

A mature and voluptuous lady quickly came forward, and in an instant, the originally quiet class change hall became lively.

”Wow, he’s so handsome.”

”You pervert, all you care about is looks. Didn’t you see that young man is already Rank 10?”

”To reach Rank 10 at this time, his Talent must be very high. Sisters, don’t fight me for him. I just broke up last week and I really need some comfort.”

”Get lost, look at yourself. How could this young man fancy you? If you ask me, he should come to me for his class change, and then I’ll take him to a small room for a good chat.”

”You little hussy, he hasn’t even come over yet and you’re already daydreaming.”

Listening to the women in the class change hall, like orioles and swallows, earnestly speaking all sorts of audacious words, even Xia Qi, being a Rebirth, felt his face flush.

Had he walked into a wolf’s den?

Why did it feel like these women’s gazes were all trying to devour him whole?

”Quiet down, all of you, stop arguing.”

The voluptuous lady who was attending to Xia Qi’s face turned cold as she reprimanded them.

The next second, the entire class change hall instantly fell silent.

”I apologize for that, I’m Chen Tiantian, the manager of the hall. You can just call me Sister Tiantian.”

”Uh? Okay, Sister Tiantian.”

Xia Qi took the business card and looked at the enormous figure that seemed about to burst out of her suit. Indeed, her name truly suited her.

With a subtle adjustment, Chen Tiantian, chest proudly out, led Xia Qi with a slight sway in her step as she began to introduce things, her gaze sweeping across all the class change staff with an air of ’I am the best in the world’.

Compared to me, you’re all still too green!

As the saying goes, a higher Rank can suppress others. Under Chen Tiantian’s oppressive authority, the other women, even if they had opinions, could only keep them to themselves.

”Elementary Professionals are divided into Warrior, Mage, Assassin, Archer, Priest, Hunter, etc...”

Under the manager’s introduction, Xia Qi followed her past each class change counter, gaining a fairly thorough understanding.

After Rank 10, one could choose a profession, but these were all Elementary Professions, with low bonuses, but still better than nothing.

Once they had a profession, Awakened individuals could learn corresponding professional skills. Professional skills could enhance an Awakened’s combat power and better help them deal with monsters in the wild.

”So, young man, which profession are you planning to change to?”

Chen Tiantian’s explanation was very professional and detailed, and Xia Qi fell into contemplation.

”Sister Tiantian, which profession are you responsible for changing?”

”Me? I’m responsible for healer class changes, which means the Priest profession.”

”How about it, young man, would you like to consider it? Healers are an indispensable profession for going out into the wild.”

Chen Tiantian swayed her chest and said in a very seductive voice.

Xia Qi, whose eyes were a bit dazzled by the swaying, waved his hands repeatedly, ”I still prefer combat professions. Never mind, never mind.”

What’s the use of having a large healing capacity? In the end, you still have to rely on a team to level up.

Support professions also had combat skills, but Xia Qi wasn’t considering them.

Firstly, he could compensate by replicating Talents, and secondly, there was no need to team up with others.

After a brief moment of thought, under the expectant gazes of all the Young Misses, Xia Qi made his decision.

He walked with steady steps to the only woman whose expression was normal and whose attitude was somewhat cold.

”Excuse me, please help me change to a Mage.”
