National Awakening: My Left Eye Copies My Right Eye and Sublimates

7: Sweep all the way and upgrade quickly! In the novice dungeon, Xia Qi’s movements became faster and faster, and as time went on, his control over his Talent became more and more proficient.

Initially, the power of Thunder Control needed to permeate his entire body, and even just running consumed a lot of energy.

Gradually, Xia Qi discovered that Thunder Control energy could be used locally, for example, on his legs, which further increased his speed and significantly reduced consumption.

If used on his hands and then transferred to a weapon through his hands, the weapon’s power would also be greater.

Controlling Thunder Control was essentially a form of energy manipulation that could be adjusted according to the user.

From this perspective, other elemental S-Rank Talents should also have similar abilities.

With the power of Thunder Control only on his legs, he ran, sparks flying and lightning flashing.

Any monster on the path was instantly killed by Xia Qi’s Frenzy Lightning.

When the four-hour mark was reached, Xia Qi welcomed his third Rank up.

Active Skills: Frenzy Lightning (Level 2), Nine Heavens Thunderclap (Level 2)

Passive Skills: None

Nine Heavens Thunderclap: Thunder descends from all directions, annihilating everything within a 100-meter radius.

After Rank up, the skill Rank increased by one level, but it was still a skill granted by an S-Rank Talent; other Talents remained unchanged for now.

He gained three Ranks in four consecutive hours.

Xia Qi’s attributes also grew stronger and stronger. He didn’t know if it was due to his own Talent or some other reason, but each Rank up increased all attributes by 10 points, leaving no weaknesses.

Regarding this, he could only ask others after leaving the dungeon.

After sweeping through the entire forest area, Xia Qi officially entered the latter half of the dungeon.

The first half of the stage was for Awakeners to familiarize themselves with combat, while the latter half began to feature a large number of Rank 5 and Rank 6 monsters.

The increased number of monsters might be a disaster for other students, but for Xia Qi, it was a welcome development.

In the face of overwhelming power, whether you were Rank 5 or Rank 6, it was just a matter of one bolt of lightning.

Killed Rank 5 Mule, Experience +50

Killed Rank 6 Toad, Experience +60

For Xia Qi, killing Rank 1 monsters and Rank 6 monsters was equally efficient.

Therefore, the higher the Rank and the denser the monsters, the higher the monster-killing efficiency.

One Nine Heavens Thunderclap.

Dozens of monsters within a hundred-meter radius were instantly killed. After reaching Rank 4, the energy within Xia Qi’s body was enough to support three uses of Nine Heavens Thunderclap.

However, each use required a few minutes of waiting.

This was like using a powerful ultimate ability, it had a cooldown time.

Looking at the constantly rising experience points on the panel, Xia Qi calculated that at the current Rank up speed, it was even faster than before.

”Maintaining this efficiency, I’ll be able to Rank up again in less than an hour.”

”Reaching Rank 8 within the first twelve hours of entering the dungeon for the first time should be no problem, right?”

One could only stay in the novice dungeon for 12 hours at a time, and once used, it was gone. Therefore, within those 12 hours, students had to raise their Rank as much as possible.

However, due to Talent limitations, most players could only reach Rank 3 on their first attempt, Rank 4 was relatively rare, and Rank 5 was already the highest record in First Middle School.

Because starting from Rank 5, the required experience began to increase significantly.

So Xia Qi predicted that with his current speed, reaching Rank 8 within twelve hours should be possible.

”It’s only been a little over four hours, and there are still over seven hours left. Once I reach Rank 8, I’ll go directly to Jiangcheng’s wilderness to solo grind. Reaching Rank 10 tomorrow will be no problem.”

Xia Qi had already planned out his Rank up route in his mind.

At this speed, Su Yuanchen would absolutely not be able to surpass him.

Killed Rank 7 Azure Stone Statue monster, Experience +70

As Xia Qi delved deeper, Rank 7 monsters also began to appear. This time, they weren’t instantly killed.

Creatures like these, covered in runic boulders, seemed to have a certain resistance to lightning damage.

Xia Qi spent two Frenzy Lightning attacks to finally kill the Azure Stone Statue.

”It seems Thunder Dao isn’t omnipotent either.”

Thunder Control was indeed strong, but a single attribute ultimately had its flaws. If he encountered powerful monsters that countered lightning-type attributes, Xia Qi’s Talent might not be able to exert much power.

”However, this is nothing. When I have the chance, I’ll just copy a few more other elemental Talents.”

Xia Qi’s biggest trump card was the ability of his double pupils, so he wasn’t worried about attribute counters at all.

Although he used one more Frenzy Lightning on the Azure Stone Statue, overall, his efficiency didn’t drop much.

After about half an hour of killing, it was almost five hours since Xia Qi entered the novice dungeon.

Xia Qi glanced at his attribute panel.

Rank: 4 (99.00%)

He was about to Rank up again.

He casually found a few Rank 7 monsters, and after killing them, a flash of light appeared, and Xia Qi Rank up again.

Compared to the previous Rank, this Rank up was even faster, taking less than forty minutes in total.

”The monster density has increased, and my attributes and skills are continuously strengthening, so the speed of killing monsters hasn’t changed.”

”This is why I’m Rank up faster.”

Xia Qi analyzed the current situation.

He had now reached the latter half of the novice dungeon, and Rank 6 and Rank 7 monsters were visible everywhere.

Going further in would be the Rank 8 monster area.

There were no Rank 9 monsters in the novice dungeon. After all, the novice dungeon was specifically for Awakeners to adapt to actual combat, which was very different from the wilderness.

In the novice dungeon, almost all monsters only had fifty percent of the strength of wilderness monsters, or even weaker.

And they were all weak and less aggressive wild monsters, implicitly protecting the safety of Awakeners.

Only Rank 8 monsters had similar strength to those in the wilderness. Being able to reach the Rank 8 monster area basically meant one had the strength to leave the novice dungeon.

Therefore, this stage was also a transitional stage, allowing novices to experience the terror of wilderness monsters in advance.

After Rank 5, all four primary attributes increased by ten points again, bringing all attributes to sixty points.

Xia Qi’s strength was further enhanced.

Killed Rank 7 Azure Stone Statue, Experience +70

No rest was needed. After Rank up, his energy was fully restored, and Xia Qi continued to search for monsters to kill. Lightning struck, monsters died, and he instantly killed them all the way.

”Hmm? The Rank up speed seems to have slowed down.”

Now at Rank 5, Xia Qi was already able to kill Rank 7 Azure Stone Statues with a single Frenzy Lightning.

But as he kept killing, he noticed something was off; his Rank up speed had significantly decreased.
