Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 646: Chapter 177: Hacker Bar

”The plan wasn’t supposed to go like this!”

A data storage center of Du Gao Technology, that’s the facade.

Only insiders can enter the second layer of the data storage center through a dual-layer password, into a black bar inside layers of electronic defense walls.

This black bar is a quiet bar, dim lighting, soothing jazz music, a slightly intoxicating atmosphere, and guests who are either drinking with their heads down or resting with their eyes closed.

At the bar’s front desk, a voice suddenly raised, like a stone dropped into the music, rippling outward, many people looked at her in surprise.

They are nominally the leaders of the hacker group.

”Sister, calm down, when has that guy ever been honest about anything,” the bartender on the counter, wearing a white suit with a black apron, turned around, revealing a familiar face.

Ahong, the teenage hacker, the small husband of the seventeenth virtual idol Aidoru, and the junior brother of Paradise Bird.

Ahong gave an apologetic smile to the others and pushed a cocktail with a faint yellow ripple forward.

”Senior Sister, have a drink to cool off.”

”Yeah, there’s also free cake.”

Aidoru, dressed as a maid, cheerfully handed over a box of beautiful red cakes.

Behind them, in the middle of the liquor cabinet, is a small TV displaying the current scenes in reality.

Gao Gong single-handedly taking on an ’S-Level Mutant’.

However, just now, Gao disappeared mysteriously.

Seeing Paradise Bird’s changing expression, Ahong hurriedly took the opportunity to whisper into her ear:

”My senior sister, there are quite a few shady characters in this ’bar’, we can’t have any issues ourselves.”

”The group on the second floor, only you can keep them in check, the old timers on the third floor, even you might not be able to handle. Don’t lose your cool.”

Since being arranged by Gao Gong to recruit cyber hackers from around the world, this brother and sister duo have been operating secretly. During this time, with Gao Gong’s guidance, Ahong completed a player mission and inherited an ’ancient database’, which is this bar.

Being covert is the bar’s greatest advantage.

So, this bar has become a wartime hacker activity center, and any seemingly ordinary person might be a super hacker stirring up storms in the underground world.

”Give me a private room; I need to talk to someone.”

As soon as Paradise Bird finished speaking, she disappeared from the front desk. As a controller of the ancient database, Ahong now has become similar to ’Lady Red Dream’, possessing many special abilities.

For example, creating a small virtual space at will.

Seeing many guests looking over, Ahong smiled calmly. Seeing his maid wife also showing a worried expression, he shook his head.

”Don’t worry, Mr. G, an experienced driver, wouldn’t crash at such a crucial moment; he must have a reason for doing this.”

Meanwhile, in a private room, Paradise Bird was chatting with Gao Yuanyuan, who had been teleported over.

”According to the original plan, he would attract the attention of ’Vinos Life Safety Group’ in reality, and then use his special abilities to locate the ’Biological Computer’.

”You will control the opponent’s ’Enterprise System’.

”Our Hacker Corps will dispatch, massively invading the opponent’s servers, severing the connection between the servers and the mainframe.”

”And finally, an inside-outside attack to completely paralyze that biological computer, right?”

”Why is there a problem with the first step of the plan?”

Just after arriving, Gao Yuanyuan was bombarded with questions by Paradise Bird and smiled wryly:

”Sister Hee, brother must have his reasons for doing it this way.”

”Don’t stand up for him regardless of position,” Paradise Bird said dissatisfiedly.

Gao Yuanyuan shook her head:

”I’m not. In fact, if we acted according to the original plan, we might indeed be able to paralyze the opponent. But to clear all the ’Brain-Machine Virus’, even if I go all out, it would take at least half a month.”

”That’s not slow; at this point, most super corporations haven’t even completed brain-machine infrastructure in a single region.”

Gao Yuanyuan thought for a moment and said:

”Brother is probably in a hurry.”

”In a hurry?”

”It’s my personal feeling; brother probably wants to achieve something in the corporate war, so he is eager to settle certain people.

Before we implemented the plan, he did say he wanted to try it himself first, and if it didn’t work, we would carry out our approach.”

Paradise Bird wasn’t a fool; she sensed something, like a storm brewing in this corporate war, a storm unknown to others. She rubbed her cheeks, and the Flame Bird tattoo representing danger turned chibi, adding a cuteness that didn’t belong to her aura.

Finally, she sighed and shook her head, saying: ”Then, tell me, where is Mr. G now?”

Gao Yuanyuan thought for a moment and said:

”Brother is probably inside the enemy’s Enterprise System now.”

”Inside?!” Paradise Bird was taken aback: ”How did he get in? As far as I know, Vinos Life Safety Group’s firewall is very strong.”

”That I don’t know.”

”So what does he plan to do now, is there anything we need to do?”

”Brother just sent me a one-word reply, ’wait’.”

Paradise Bird had many more questions, but seeing Gao Yuanyuan’s forced calm expression, she ultimately sighed again, leaving her questions unspoken.

”So, did you find out anything?”

Returning to the bar, Ahong curiously asked.

Paradise Bird shook her head and downed the remaining cocktail.

Ahong hesitated for a moment and said:

”Not long ago, a familiar face asked me to pass a message, wanting to talk to you.”

”Which Cyber Hacker is it this time, does he want to join?”

Paradise Bird, idly fiddling with the rim of the glass, casually asked.

”Something like that, except this person’s identity is a bit special.”

”Oh?”

”He is my second senior brother, your former junior brother, Xiuyue.”

...

In reality, in the medicine district, at a temporary Vinos Life Safety Group base

Five executives appeared in the meeting room once again.

Apart from them, there were also high-level Neuro Transformers, masters of biological engineering, and some ’Pseudo Martial God’ security personnel.

After being consecutively shot in the head, these big shots finally learned to protect themselves.

Cain Vinos smiled elegantly:

”No matter how you put it, this troublesome enemy is finally dealt with, mother personally took action and devoured him.”

”Now, what we need to consider is how to proceed with the second step of the plan.”

”Technically, the ’Biochemical Brain Machine’ has a huge advantage, but to be honest, this advantage comes with a huge cost, too envied by others.”

”If we are besieged by 3 to 5 super corporations, plus the military organizations they employ, our troubles will be no less than before.”

Judy frowned at him: ”One person scared you like that?”

”The ’Electronic Brain Plan’ is destined to be an inedible cake to swallow alone. Rather than eat until we’re stuffed, it’s better to recognize reality and partition the less important parts.”

”According to your words, Holy Brain Group, Balance Biotechnology, Johnson Group, would all be our potential allies, especially the first two, they are in the Northern Hemisphere!”

”Johnson Group’s ’Evolution Pill Plan’ does not completely conflict with ours.”

One executive thought and said:

”With the advantages we have in technology, as long as we have enough money, we can even entice other companies’ military contractors to switch sides; after all, these people are loyal to money, not to people.”

”True, some high-quality military contractors are within our reach.”

Cain Vinos thought for a moment and said:

”Among the new military organizations, I quite like Du Gao Group, and I think they are worth recruiting.”

His words barely settled when several people at the table reacted strongly, exclaiming in shock. A high-level Neuro Transformer had all its defensive aura deployed, and cracks appeared on the walls and ceiling, as if the entire air froze.

”What’s wrong with you all,” Cain said with an amused smile.

”Your face! Just look at it!!!” Judy screamed.

”Face?”

Cain turned to look at a decorative mirror on the wall, seeing the person in the mirror with his face.
