Celestial Beast Taming

Chapter 323: Chapter 194: 6-Finger Dharma Aspect

”Young Master, I might be spending a large sum of money soon. I’m preparing to have Zhao Kai help me acquire five Fire Attribute Main Dragon Crystals to make an all-out push toward becoming a Six-finger Creator.”

Zhong Yi looked at Tao En’s determined expression, knowing that Tao En had been bottling up a great deal of ambition.

If Zhong Yi’s Soul-Catching Gu Mother hadn’t evolved into a Soul Nourishing Gu Mother and gained the Exclusive Trait, Insect Soul Nourishment, Tao En would have needed to spend a vast amount of resources to push for the Six-finger Creator realm, and even then, success wouldn’t have been guaranteed.

But now, for Tao En, who was just one step away from becoming a Six-finger Creator, the Soul Nourishing Gu Mother could potentially help him take that final step directly.

If he successfully took this step, Tao En could not only mass-produce Fire Dragon Potions in the future, but he could also try concocting other Sixth Level Potions.

When that time came, it would be a tremendous boon not just for Zhong Yi, but for all the powerful experts in Starlight City.

Tao En had never brought up his grudge against Cao Xing’an on his own initiative, but Zhong Yi knew that Tao En must have kept that feud deeply buried in his heart.

After all, Cao Xing’an had intended to kill both Tao En and Tao Niannian, and had even acted on it.

Once Tao En became a Six-finger Creator, if he wanted revenge, Zhong Yi would let him do as he pleased.

If Tao En truly became the Xin Xia Federation’s seventh Six-finger Creator, he probably wouldn’t even need to take action against Cao Xing’an himself.

People would start deliberately targeting Cao Xing’an just to curry favor with Tao En.

It was just like how people had once frantically suppressed Tao En to curry favor with Cao Xing’en.

Tao En recovered from his exhilarated state, realizing that for Zhong Yi to come see him this late, he must have something important to discuss.

Tao En hurriedly asked.

”Young Master, you came so late. Do you have instructions for me?”

”If you had instructions, you could have just called. I would have come to you.”

Hearing this, Zhong Yi said with a smile.

”Master Tao En, there’s no need for such formalities between us.”

”Let’s head into the laboratory first. I do have something very important to tell you.”

The moment Tao En heard Zhong Yi say it was important, his expression immediately turned serious.

After entering the laboratory, Zhong Yi didn’t offer Tao En much of an explanation.

He first summoned the Soul Nourishing Gu Mother, then said to Tao En.

”Master Tao En, in a moment, this Guardian Beast of mine will separate an Insect Soul and let the separated Insect Soul enter your soul.”

”Don’t resist. Just experience it for yourself. I believe it will be a pleasant surprise for you.”

At these words, Tao En glanced curiously at the colorful, translucent worm in Zhong Yi’s palm.

Tao En recognized the creature in Zhong Yi’s palm at a glance as the evolved form of the Soul Contracting Gu Mother.

The Insect Eggs he had requested from Zhong Yi had come from this very evolved Soul Contracting Gu Mother.

Tao En didn’t ask why Zhong Yi wanted to let this evolved Soul Contracting Gu Mother place an Insect Soul into his soul.

For a Creator, the soul was the most fragile and also the most important thing.

But when faced with Zhong Yi, who had saved him, Tao En had absolute trust.

He immediately cleared his mind and opened his Soul Base.

Seeing that Tao En was ready, Zhong Yi commanded the Soul Nourishing Gu Mother to use its Exclusive Trait, Insect Soul Nourishment, on him.

In that very instant, Tao En understood why Zhong Yi had said he had a surprise for him!

Tao En keenly perceived that the moment the Insect Soul made contact with his own soul, it began nourishing it like a nutrient.

His soul sensitivity received a tremendous boost in a very short time.

With the increase in soul sensitivity, his control over his soul also steadily improved.

Tao En stared at the Insect Guardian Beast in Zhong Yi’s palm—the one that had evolved from the Soul Contracting Gu Mother—utterly astounded.

After using its Exclusive Trait, Insect Soul Nourishment, the Soul Nourishing Gu Mother curled up weakly in Zhong Yi’s palm, its aura becoming extremely faint.

After casting Insect Soul Nourishment, the Soul Nourishing Gu Mother had truly lost half of its Insect Soul.

It looked like it would need a considerable amount of time to recover.

Tao En felt the changes in his soul, unable to utter a single word for a long moment.

”Master Tao En, I imagine your success rate for concocting Fire Dragon Potions will be much higher now.”

Just as Zhong Yi was speaking, he felt a vast surge of Soul Energy rise from within Tao En’s body.

Behind Tao En, his Soul Power clearly condensed into a Six-finger Dharma Aspect!

Tao En pressed his lips together, still not having recovered from his shock.

”Young Master, my soul can now condense a Six-finger Dharma Aspect. This is the mark of a Six-finger Middle Tier Creator.”

”My soul control and sensitivity have reached the level of a Six-finger Middle Tier Creator.”

”With my previous experience concocting Fire Dragon Potions, it will be very difficult for me to fail now.”

At this, Tao En dropped to one knee and bowed to Zhong Yi. Then, he spoke to him with extreme solemnity.

”Young Master, you saved me and Niannian, and now at this critical juncture, you have bestowed upon me a great fortune, helping me successfully ascend to the rank of Six-finger Creator.”

”For the rest of my days, this body of mine is yours to command!”

Hearing this, Zhong Yi couldn’t help but blink twice.

’Tao En’s words are a bit weird!’

’What would I do commanding Tao En’s body!?’

Although Zhong Yi found Tao En’s words a bit strange, he could sense the loyalty and gratitude behind them.

Zhong Yi reached out and helped Tao En up from the ground.

As he helped Tao En up, Zhong Yi keenly noticed that after Tao En’s soul had advanced a level, although his hair was still graying, the wrinkles on his skin had vanished.

Tao En no longer looked like an old man, but rather like a refined middle-aged man in his thirties or forties.

”Uncle Tao En, let’s have no more of these formalities in the future.”

”I had Brother Zhao help me trade for a Repulsive-Attractive Red Crystal Ore Core from a private seller.”

”He needs fifty custom Fifth Level Potions and will provide the materials himself.”

”When the time comes, I’ll need to trouble you, Master Tao En, to put in the effort and concoct the potions for him.”

Hearing this, Tao En first cautioned Zhong Yi.

”Young Master, you must never reveal the Ability of this Guardian Beast of yours in front of others.”

”If a Guardian Beast that can create a Six-finger Creator were revealed to the world, not even Lord Star Emperor could guarantee your safety.”

Seeing Zhong Yi nod, Tao En continued.

”Young Master, in a couple of days, I will go to the Craftsmen’s Guild to complete my certification as a Six-finger Creator.”

”At that time, I’d like to invite my two old friends from Longya City over to Starlight City.”

”One of them is a Five-finger Early Tier Creator, and the other is a Five-finger Middle Tier Creator.”

”Previously, when I was down on my luck in Longya City, even though Cao Xing’an was constantly suppressing me, those two still helped me in secret.”

If you permit them to come and settle in Starlight City, once they arrive, we can have them concoct the Fifth Level Potions.

However, their situation is special. They’re both used to their freedom, so I’m afraid they won’t be willing to join Soul Soil.

Zhong Yi raised an eyebrow at this.

”Master Tao En, this is your personal business. You can make the decision on such matters yourself.”

”Bringing two Five-finger Creators to Starlight City is a great thing for the entire city.”

”The fact that they’re willing to do you a favor, Master Tao En, and help concoct Fifth Level Potions is already more than enough!”

In terms of identity and status, a Five-finger Creator was already on par with a Celestial Destiny Seeker.

Every day, countless Guardian Beast Masters would eagerly beg these Five-finger Creators, hoping for a chance to get a custom potion.

How could such a proud and arrogant group of people be willing to casually join a faction and submit to another’s authority?

If Tao En’s soul hadn’t been damaged back then, Zhong Yi would never have made a trip to Longya City with the intention of recruiting him.

Starlight City had no Five-finger Peak Creators, but it did have several Five-finger Creators.

These Five-finger Creators could easily be seen at the Craftsmen’s Guild.

Zhong Yi had never even entertained the idea of recruiting these Five-finger Creators.
