The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 971: Chapter 971: Acupuncture Demonstration

”Ring ring...”

At this moment, the school’s bell rang very timely.

”Haha, class is over now. If anyone wants to try Lin Tian’s Qi Gong, you can stay in the classroom, otherwise you can leave,” Hua Dongxu said standing at the podium.

No one spoke up, but some were eager to gather in front of Lin Tian and let him do acupuncture on them. However, because Hua Dongxu was still on the podium, no one left their seats.

The respect for teachers is a habit students develop from a young age. Even now as university students, if class is over but the teacher is still on the podium, it’s as if the class isn’t over.

”Mr. Hua, can I use the podium? My current seat might not be too convenient,” Lin Tian asked.

Without thinking, Hua Dongxu took his things and handed over the podium, saying, ”Of course you can.”

Lin Tian didn’t hesitate, straightening his body, and swiftly yet steadily he ”floated” to the podium like a gust of wind.

Everyone in the audience looked at him, waiting for his next move.

”Uh... there’s no stool on this podium, I’ll go grab one,” Lin Tian said a bit awkwardly.

”Hahaha...”

The somewhat tense atmosphere was suddenly dispelled by his words, at least Lin Tian didn’t seem as unreachable as before, feeling more down-to-earth.

”I’ll get it, I’ll get it.”

In the classroom, Meng Nan suddenly lifted a chair and walked towards the podium. It turns out this guy is quite enthusiastic about doing such errands.

”Thanks.” Lin Tian responded without hesitation, took the chair, and sat down. This is a public occasion, if it were in the dormitory and he said ”Thanks,” he would probably be thought of as a fool.

”Lin Tian, look at me first.” Meng Nan showed an excited grin, especially noticeable when he smiled, revealing two rows of bright white teeth against his dark face.

Though it’s not yet winter and the UV outside isn’t strong, one wonders how this guy got so tanned.

”Alright,” Lin Tian said with a wry smile, ”I’ll look at you first. But for fairness’s sake, how about we queue up next? Don’t worry, it won’t take long.”

”Okay,” everyone responded in unison, actually there’s no need to queue deliberately, just follow the order starting from the first row.

Lin Tian glanced at Meng Nan’s face, then his gaze shifted towards Sisi who was still seated. He said, ”You don’t actually have any major issues, you’re quite healthy, but remember one thing.”

Seeing Lin Tian with a serious expression, Meng Nan couldn’t help but breathe heavily and cautiously asked, ”What?”

”Recently your kidneys aren’t great, mind your moderation, don’t overdo it,” Lin Tian whispered.

”Uh...” Meng Nan’s face showed embarrassment, his dark face even slightly reddened.

Witnessing this, Lin Tian couldn’t help but laugh, this silly guy, does he really get shy?

”Lin Tian, do you have any secret recipes or something?” Meng Nan suddenly leaned close to Lin Tian’s ear and whispered only they could hear, ”You wouldn’t believe how hard it is to satisfy Sisi, roughly three times a night.”

”Pfft...” Lin Tian couldn’t resist laughing again.

”For this, you don’t need acupuncture, I’ll give you a prescription, you buy the herbs and stew them at home, drinking once every three days will surely make you feel invigorated,” Lin Tian whispered.

Upon hearing this, Meng Nan nodded joyfully, like a little chick pecking at rice. Then, like a gust of wind, he rushed back to get the notebook and pen Sisi had brought.

Lin Tian picked up the pen and wrote down two and a half lines on the paper before handing it over to Meng Nan.

”Next.” Lin Tian called.

The girl with a melon face sitting at the far right of the first row stood up from her chair. When she reached Lin Tian, you could smell the fragrance of her shampoo.

Lin Tian observed her a few times, quickly identifying the issue. He said, ”Your hair is a bit dry, with some split ends, yellowing, and hair loss, though it seems like it’s been cared for, the effect isn’t very good, right?”

The girl nodded, looking at Lin Tian more like a fangirl. She replied, ”Yes, my hair quality has always been bad, I’ve been taking care of it but the effect hasn’t been good.”

”Hmm, turn around, I’ll give you an acupuncture once, pay attention afterwards, and it’ll be fine once you form the habit,” Lin Tian said.

The girl’s face showed some embarrassment as she urgently asked, ”Do I... need to take off my clothes?”

Lin Tian smiled and shook his head, ”Just take off your coat will do, but when you stand, don’t move around, it’ll be done quickly.”

The girl nodded and then removed her coat as instructed, standing on the podium with her back to Lin Tian, facing the wall rather than the classmates. Otherwise, how embarrassing would that be?

Lin Tian spread out the needle box, took out four silver needles, aimed at the acupuncture points, and skillfully pricked them.

Below the podium, the students were somewhat amazed, to do acupuncture without undressing requires deep skills, no student would dare attempt.

Seeing this, Xv Zhina’s face grew more serious, as even she couldn’t accomplish this.

If earlier she was confident she couldn’t lose, now her confidence had been undermined somewhat.

Liver Yu, Spleen Yu, Kidney Yu, Zhishi, Feiyang, Taixi.

A total of six main acupoints, paired with ’Jingmen, Gaoyu’ as two auxiliary points.

The kidneys govern the hair, and the spleen governs operation.

In reality, poor hair quality relates to many bodily organs, but it’s fine, one acupuncture session with some medication is enough.

After three pricks and three turns, Lin Tian withdrew the silver needles using the ”Quiet Withdrawal Style.”

The so-called ”Quiet Withdrawal Style” is a technique from ”Tyrant Emperor’s Record” for withdrawing needles, smoothly pulling out the silver needles swiftly and softly, without affecting the acupuncture effect.

This method of withdrawing needles requires waiting for the complete release of Spiritual Qi before pulling them out. The action is skillful, without any showiness, and if done for show, the common folk wouldn’t notice.

”It’s done, acupuncture is finished,” Lin Tian said.

”Huh? You haven’t pulled out the needles yet.” The girl clearly hadn’t realized.

Lin Tian laughed, ”I’ve already taken them out; it was just too fast.”

”Now that the acupuncture is done, try not to eat spicy or fishy-smelling food, eat more vegetables,” Lin Tian advised.

”Got it,” the girl responded, then turned around and thanked Lin Tian.

As she thanked him, Lin Tian had already written down a prescription on paper, and handed it to her while giving some reminders on important things.

”Thank you, thank you,” the girl delightedly thanked him twice.
