The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 875: Chapter 875: Heart Knot

Walking out of Bai Tianlong’s hospital room, Lin Tian remained silent.

”Let’s go downstairs for a stroll,” Bai Shishi said. ”You haven’t accompanied me for a walk in a long time.”

Lin Tian nodded, ”Okay.”

Bai Shishi didn’t like the smell inside the hospital building.

Even in the VIP rooms, there was a pervasive hospital scent.

However, for the past six months, it seemed like she was frequently visiting the hospital, almost becoming a ’regular’ here. She even got acquainted with several doctors.

And every time she came to the hospital, it was because she was in danger, but in the end, she wasn’t hurt, and instead, Lin Tian was left with many scars.

Reflecting on this, Bai Shishi felt both sweet and heartache.

The city-center hospital is a tertiary grade A hospital, the highest level for a hospital. Besides having a strong medical team and complete facilities, the environment is also a very important factor.

Below the hospital building, it feels like a large park.

In the summer, there are clusters of gardens, playful fish in clear lakes, and quiet tree-shaded paths.

But now it’s winter, and the ground is covered with snow, the trees are frosted with snow, the grass is blanketed with snow, and even the artificial lake is frozen with a thick layer of ice, topped with a vast expanse of snow.

In such weather, people mostly stay in warm and cozy heated rooms; few are willing to come out for a stroll.

Bai Shishi meant it when she said walk. The two didn’t say anything, and with this snowy environment, it’s as if everything was hibernating.

Suddenly, Bai Shishi leaned against Lin Tian, softly saying, ”My hands are cold...”

With a hint of playful teasing, Lin Tian’s heart instantly warmed, as if winter had passed, the snow melted, and everything awakened.

Lin Tian stepped to Bai Shishi, held her hands, and together put them into his pocket.

”Is it warmer now?”

Bai Shishi smiled and nodded, then leaned against Lin Tian like a lazy kitten.

”Warm,” she replied with a smile.

The warmth spread from the heart, enveloping the entire body, like soaking in a hot spring.

”Shishi... I’m sorry to you,” Lin Tian whispered by her ear.

Since leaving Bai Tianlong’s room, Lin Tian’s mood had been down. He’s been avoiding emotional issues, afraid of marrying one and losing the other.

But this issue, after all, has to be faced.

Bai Shishi leaned closer to him, ”Do we still need to discuss this between us? How about you? Have you figured out how to talk to her? If she doesn’t agree with us, I’ll step out. I’m so excellent, I’m not worried about getting married.”

Lin Tian knew she was joking but felt somewhat reluctant inside. He slapped her rounded bottom and said, ”Dream on, I’ve taken so many hits for you, saved you many times, you can only repay me with your life.”

Despite the cheesy pick-up line, Bai Shishi still felt warm inside, like it was the first time this tongue-tied guy said something like this to her?

”By the way, do you have feelings for Ruyan too?” Bai Shishi asked.

”...” Lin Tian almost didn’t respond, this question was too sharp, too sudden, making it hard for him to answer.

”Not answering means you admit, need big sis to help you win her over?” Bai Shishi teased with a mischievous smile.

Lin Tian was stunned, mouth wide open. The matter with Qingcheng was already overwhelming, why involve another?

”That girl Ruyan has high standards, besides you, it seems no man can catch her eye. I’m her sister, I wouldn’t want her to end up alone. Besides, you have so many women, I need an ally, right?”

Lin Tian rolled his eyes, ”What do you mean by me having so many women? You can’t just say things like that.”

Bai Shishi snorted softly, pouting, ”You know better than me about this, I won’t ask more, you can trust me to handle Ruyan.”

Lin Tian whispered by Bai Shishi’s ear, chuckling, ”I haven’t settled you yet, my parents have been brought to Kanyue City, in a few days I’ll take you to meet them, and settle you too.”

’Settle’ — Lin Tian stressed these words heavily, meaning was clear, relating to intimacy between men and women.

Bai Shishi laughed, ”You have the guts but not the courage, just talk big, still a virgin, right? hehe...”

Lin Tian’s face darkened, slapped Bai Shishi’s rounded bottom again, gritted his teeth, ”You’ll know then.”

After being smacked twice, and with force not light, Bai Shishi’s face turned a bit red.

”It’s really cold outside, let’s go back.” Bai Shishi suggested.

Seeing Lin Tian was in a bad mood earlier, Bai Shishi proposed this cold-weather stroll, now cleared, naturally they returned.

”Alright.” Lin Tian agreed.

”I want you to carry me back,” Bai Shishi said playfully.

Lin Tian clutched his chest, ”But my wounds haven’t completely healed.”

”Ah? I almost forgot, let’s save it for next time.” Bai Shishi said.

Lin Tian grinned, squatted in front of Bai Shishi, ”No worries, you’re not heavy, hop on.”

”No!” Bai Shishi stepped back two paces.

”Not up to you,” Lin Tian said, also stepped back two paces, forcibly picked Bai Shishi up.

”Aren’t your wounds not healed yet?” Bai Shishi asked worriedly.

”Almost healed, be good, or I’ll slap your bottom!”

The two returned to Lin Tian’s room, Bai Shishi made a cup of coffee for Lin Tian, saying it would warm him up.

Actually, Lin Tian didn’t like coffee, even with added milk and sugar. He preferred tea.

Lin Tian asked, ”When so many people died at home that day, what happened afterward?”

Awakened, no one told him this, probably Bai Shishi and Mei Ruyan didn’t want to mention it.

”That day, after you jumped out of the window, I heard fighting and screaming, knew something happened downstairs. So I immediately called Wu Yong, asked him to send people, all our people at the Wang Family Manor were taken out, so the best rescue time for my dad was missed.”

”Later, you all were sent to the hospital, I also called the police. You, my dad, and Ruyan, three were in the emergency room. You have no idea how I felt outside the emergency room, almost collapsing, my mind was blank. I felt terrified for the first time.”

Saying this, Bai Shishi’s eyes reddened, recalling the heartbreaking event.

Lin Tian quickly embraced her, gently patting her back.

The two most important men in her life, plus her best friend all in emergency care, anyone would collapse at this, right?
