The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 864: Chapter 864: Another Punch for Good Measure

Lin Tian looked at the Hidden Dragon Sword embedded in the soil, feeling somewhat surprised.

Logically speaking, after being thrown, this sword shouldn’t have returned, nor would it have landed so perfectly in front of him.

This sword truly has a spirit!

In an instant, Lin Tian had the thought of claiming it for himself.

The Elder stood up, his face sullen. Anyone could see that he was in a terrible mood, extremely bad!

”Old man, if I said I didn’t know this sword would fly back, would you believe me?” Lin Tian looked at him innocently.

The Elder glanced at the Hidden Dragon Sword stuck in the ground and cursed, ”I don’t believe a damn word from you!”

Lin Tian waved his hands repeatedly, ”Don’t be angry. You’re pretty old already. What if you get so mad you have a seizure and die? How unsightly would that be?”

If he hadn’t said anything, it would have been better. Hearing this, the Elder got even angrier. He just wanted to strip Lin Tian naked and make him run in the snow!

”It’s really cold today, and now you’re without clothes. How about going back early for a hot bath and an early sleep?” Lin Tian suggested.

The Elder closed his eyes, muttering something under his breath, but Lin Tian couldn’t understand a word.

Soon, Lin Tian realized what was happening. This guy’s Heart Demon was acting up again, and he was using a Heart Method to suppress it.

If the Heart Demon took over his mind, who knows what he would do; even the Elder himself couldn’t control it.

”A great opportunity!” Lin Tian thought to himself, then quickly walked over to the Hidden Dragon Sword, pulled it out, and charged directly at the Elder.

The sword’s tip aimed at the Elder’s heart, Lin Tian sped up!

This sword would pierce his heart. No matter how strong you are, death is certain!

To Lin Tian, this old man was a threat. If he could get rid of him, he naturally would.

Just as the sword’s tip was about a meter away from the Elder, the old man suddenly opened his eyes, glaring at Lin Tian with bulging eyes.

His eyes no longer had whites or pupils, only densely packed with blood veins.

Being stared at like this, Lin Tian’s hair stood on end, and his steps paused for a moment.

Realizing that his small move had been noticed, Lin Tian knew he had missed the best opportunity and naturally couldn’t advance into certain death.

”Old man... are you alright?” Lin Tian tentatively asked while retreating. His entire body’s pores could feel that this old man was dangerous!

”Hah!”

The Elder didn’t answer Lin Tian. With a loud shout, he suddenly lunged forward as if he had teleported, landing a knee kick directly on Lin Tian’s stomach.

Lin Tian’s face contorted with pain, and his handsome face was covered in wrinkles. He then rolled on the ground like a kicked stone and landed embarrassingly in the snow.

”Hiss... damn, he’s ruthless!”

Lin Tian gasped, feeling as if his bones were about to fall apart. That old man’s kick was too vicious. Lin Tian could feel that he had suffered significant internal injuries. Even using Spiritual Qi to heal would take several days.

”Die!”

The Elder, with reddened eyes, let out a low roar and sped up like a ghost, rushing towards Lin Tian.

Lin Tian’s eyes widened in horror. He could tell that this old man had murderous intent towards him too.

Bam!

Another punch swung at him, Lin Tian shrank back and barely dodged it.

”Hmph!”

With a heavy huff, the Elder swung another punch after missing the first one.

This time, Lin Tian couldn’t dodge it, and it hit him squarely in the chest. His whole body’s blood felt like it was burning, painfully hot!

Within this punch was the Elder’s Inner Strength, making it very painful.

The Elder combined his five fingers for another punch!

This time, Lin Tian didn’t dare to take it with his chest again; otherwise, he’d spit blood!

”I’ll fight you to the end!”

Lin Tian let out a low growl, opened his left hand, and caught this heavy punch with it.

The distance from his left hand to his heart was very close, and the force of the Elder’s punch instantly spread through Lin Tian’s entire left arm, finally reaching his heart.

The force of this punch was extremely strong. Lin Tian felt like his arm was about to explode, especially his heart, which was throbbing with pain, making it hard for him to breathe.

”Pah!”

His mouth tasted sweet, and he couldn’t hold back, spitting out a mouthful of blood splattering on the Elder’s face.

The Elder remained unaffected, retracting his elbow and throwing another punch.

At this point, the Elder’s punches formed a continuous momentum, one after another, seamlessly integrated with his energy, driving strength through energy.

Lin Tian knew he couldn’t take another punch! Taking it would mean death!

He poured all his strength into his legs and retreated with all his might.

The Elder, gaining the upper hand, pressed forward step by step, his strides resembling a dragon’s and his punches fierce and unstoppable.

In reality, Lin Tian’s ”retreat” was harder than the Elder’s ”advance”!

Human eyes face forward, with the advantage of inertia for moving forward confidently.

But retreating? While handling an opponent, retreating could lead to an unstable footing or stumbling.

There’s never been a saying that someone’s backward speed was faster than their forward speed.

So Lin Tian’s situation was very precarious!

Counterattack!

These two words kept swirling in Lin Tian’s mind.

He had to find an opportunity to counterattack. Otherwise, with the Elder’s high-paced punching speed, he wouldn’t last long, maybe just another three punches before going down!

But it’s too difficult! He’s a Golden Core expert!

The Elder took a steady step forward, closing the gap with Lin Tian by one position, and threw another punch, with its force and momentum unstoppable.

”Now’s the time!”

Lin Tian’s retreating steps suddenly paused, and he tilted his head to dodge the punch. At the same time, he grabbed the Elder’s wrist with both hands and curled his legs upward.

Just like that, he hung on to the Elder’s arm like a monkey.

As the Elder retracted his fist, Lin Tian’s curled right leg suddenly straightened, kicking towards the Elder’s knee.

The knee is a very vulnerable part, and the grapple technique exploits this joint weakness to defeat the enemy.

Lin Tian’s right leg smoothly struck the Elder’s knee. With a heavy force, a ’crack’ was heard at last.

”Heh heh...” Lin Tian showed a satisfied smile. He finally succeeded in counterattacking!

With a busted knee, let’s see how you’ll chase me!

”Die!” The Elder, with a darkened face, withdrew his fists and bent his injured leg. Then suddenly, he kicked straight towards Lin Tian’s head!

Lin Tian secretly gasped, hurriedly rolling aside in a ragged manner, barely dodging the kick.

”Is this old guy’s leg fine?”

From the force and momentum of the kick, Lin Tian couldn’t discern any issue with his knee. His expression turned grim.

”Then let me add another hit!”

Lin Tian combined his five fingers to form a fist, then slightly gathered strength and struck towards the Elder’s groin!
