The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 542: Chapter 542: If You Have Nothing Else, Be Sure to Come to the Street Dance Club

”Alright, I won’t talk to you anymore, I have some things to do. The day after tomorrow is Saturday, make sure to come to the street dance club if you have no plans.”

”Okay, I’ll be there.”

Speaking of dancing, Liou Qingcheng was quite interested. It had been her hobby since childhood, something she’d been passionate about for over ten years. Recently, she had been focusing entirely on ancient medicine. Now was the perfect opportunity to practice dance, and moreover, it was street dance which she hadn’t tried before. Naturally, she was a bit excited.

”Good, so you’ve agreed. Remember to wear a pair of loose pants when you come to practice. Bye~” After saying this, Zhou Mi hung up the phone, a bit rushed.

Putting the phone back in his pocket, Lin Tian asked, ”Do you know street dance?”

”No, but I’ve watched videos and it doesn’t seem that hard.” Liou Qingcheng said while taking small bites.

”But I don’t know it.”

”I’ll teach you.”

”I’ve been waiting for you to say that!” Lin Tian excitedly jumped up from his chair, ”My villa has a lot of space, and the bed is big too. Let’s go to my place to practice tonight!”

Meanwhile, a group of people entered the street dance room in the arts building.

Regardless of gender, they were all dressed uniformly in black jackets, revealing bronze skin and a muscular build.

Leading at the front was a boy with his hair parted 3:7, wearing a pair of white-framed glasses, with a lean face. He had the demeanor of a gentleman, the dream guy of many looks-obsessed girls: Li Tianmu.

On Li Tianmu’s left and right stood two others, one with a bandage on his hand, and the other with gauze wrapped around his head.

If Lin Tian were present, he would recognize them instantly as Guo Zhen and Zizi, who had previously clashed with him.

Behind them stood a group of over a dozen people.

Zhou Mi, hearing from a club member that someone was causing trouble, irritably walked out after hanging up with Lin Tian.

Walking to the martial arts hall, upon seeing Li Tianmu’s smiling, handsome face, Zhou Mi felt a wave of nausea for no reason, frowning as she said, ”What the hell are you doing here?”

Li Tianmu wasn’t angered. Instead, he casually sat in a chair, his smile unwavering as he said, ”How can you treat me as a guest like this, Mr. Zhou?”

”You consider yourself guests? Just a bunch of trash idiots.” Zhou Mi swaggered into a reclining chair. With her fiery personality, she had no patience for niceties with someone bearing a smiling face.

”Zhou Mi! I advise you to speak to Tianmu with a little more respect!” Guo Zhen boasted arrogantly.

His words immediately ignited a rage in the other members of the street dance club. This shameless guy, who previously would have done anything to lick the soles of Zhou Mi’s shoes, was driven out like a stray dog last time. Now, having recognized a new master, he returned with the same disgusting attitude.

”Oh... isn’t this Brother Zhen, Zhen?” Zhou Mi covered her nose with one hand and kicked a foot onto the table, sliding the recliner back before saying, ”Speak quieter, I can hear you. Your bad breath really hasn’t changed a bit.”

After speaking, Zhou Mi looked at Li Tianmu again, ”With such severe bad breath, you still let him stay by your side? You’ll really take anyone.”

Li Tianmu had long been fed up with this guy’s bad breath, but he was still somewhat useful. What choice did he have?

”He came to seek refuge with me, I had to give him a bowl of rice.” Li Tianmu held his breath, maintaining a smile. It was hard to tell if he was displeased. In truth, he had long wanted to tear Guo Zhen to pieces.

Zhou Mi didn’t respond. She knew well that Li Tianmu’s words couldn’t be trusted.

Besides, the usual conduct of Guo Zhen and Zizi really turned people off. They flaunted the Feihong Association’s banner arrogantly outside. Zhou Mi had considered expelling him several times but always lacked a reason. Forcibly expelling them would dishearten the other members of the gang, wouldn’t it?

She originally thought that after expelling Guo Zhen and Zizi, their enemies would come seeking revenge, at least break their arms, forcing them to leave Kanyue City Medical University.

And the first to act would definitely be Li Tianmu’s people.

That’s why Zizi was so terrified of being expelled last time, almost wetting his pants.

But unexpectedly, Li Tianmu took them in, complicating things.

Others might not understand Li Tianmu, but Zhou Mi did. Describing him as a smiling assassin was no exaggeration. The former sly tiger Fu Dahai paled in comparison to him.

”Why have you come this time? Speak your business and get out.” Zhou Mi said bluntly. If it really came to a fight, the people Li Tianmu brought wouldn’t even be enough for punching bags.

”Your people crossed the line, did you know?” Li Tianmu dropped his smile, adopting a serious look.

”I know, so what?” Zhou Mi shrugged, unfazed, ”Your people crossed the line first. Didn’t you know?”

Beside Kanyue City Medical University, there was a very thriving Student Street, with many hotels, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs.

Since there were bars, they needed resident performers and entertainers.

Performing at these bars was a regular source of income for the street dance club members. If they went every day, an individual could earn an average of 6,000 a month.

Six thousand was no small amount for a college student.

For this money, the performance spots in those bars were basically monopolized by the Feihong Association and the Wind Snow Gang. Outsiders had virtually no chance of performing in bars.

Thus, they divided Student Street into north and south. One side belonged to Zhou Mi; the Feihong Association members weren’t just street dancers. After all, constantly dancing could be exhausting; they needed to play some musical instruments, too.

And Li Tianmu’s Wind Snow Gang mainly performed as resident singers, with good skills.

Every year, talent scouts visited this school, so how could their basic skills be lacking?

Initially, neither side had a gang nature, but due to continuous friction, gangs formed, their relations fiery as water and fire.

The crossing of lines mentioned earlier naturally referred to poaching territory, resulting in a decrease in income sources.

Wherever there are people, there are struggles, especially in a mini-society like university, where such friction was inevitable.

The retaliation method was simple: wrecking the venue, not just smashing the resident performance spot but also trashing things in the bar.

Both sides often got into fierce fights, eventually evolving into something else, with some even carrying knives.

Whenever someone caused trouble, the bar owners suffered bitterly.

The losses were compensated by the two gangs, but not much. The rest of the losses had to be borne by the owners themselves.

The owners didn’t want to hire them, but they had no choice, as not hiring would result in fewer customers.

However, hiring outsiders as resident performers would result in even more severe wrecking of the venue.

So, they could only grit their teeth and swallow their complaints. Thankfully, incidents of venue wrecking weren’t frequent, occurring only once or twice a year, or else they really wouldn’t be able to afford it.
