The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 326: Chapter 326: Operation Begins

”It seems the action plan you chose is quite risky!” As the other teams left, Chen Moxiang became noticeably more at ease.

”Risky? Compared to the real operation, this is nothing!” Lin Tian replied nonchalantly.

Chen Moxiang encouraged, ”I’m expecting you two to get first place in the evaluation, so do your best!”

”Don’t worry, this secret mission is definitely ours to pull off!” Ye Feng also said confidently.

”Then get ready, I need to go down and keep an eye on things!” Chen Moxiang said while walking forward. ”The operation time is 9 PM. Now you can move freely, but the building closes at 6 PM, so it’s best to find a place to hide before then!”

”Got it!” Lin Tian nodded in response, not forgetting to thank Chen Moxiang for the kind reminder.

As time ticked by, around 4 PM Lin Tian and Ye Feng had their meal and returned to the rooftop of the Fuyuan Building, finding a hidden corner to hide in...

As night fell, the entire city was plunged into darkness, with traffic bustling on the streets and pedestrians coming and going without end!

However, on the rooftop of the Fuyuan Building, Lin Tian took off his clothes and changed into a tight night suit.

After changing, Lin Tian checked the time. Ye Feng then spoke in a deep voice, ”There’s still half an hour left, let me explain the action plan!”

”Since the 22nd floor is the vault, it’s best to enter the building a floor earlier to clearly understand the situation on the 22nd! Also, absolutely do not enter the 21st floor, because the other three teams are entering from below. If they alert the security, you might get caught up as well, so we must enter from the 23rd floor!” Ye Feng reminded Lin Tian.

”Lin Tian, be cautious when you go in alone. I will be coordinating from the opposite building. Regardless of whether you succeed or fail in the operation, you must leave immediately, return to the rooftop, and meet me on the rooftop of the opposite building. We’re escaping from another building!” Ye Feng explained the plan to Lin Tian in detail.

The plan was truly flawless.

”Understood?” Seeing Lin Tian silent, Ye Feng asked again.

”Understood!” Lin Tian nodded.

”Let’s get ready then!” Ye Feng glanced at the time, seeing that it was ten minutes until the operation at 9 PM.

Lin Tian started checking his gear, while Ye Feng pulled a micro earpiece from his large backpack and handed it to Lin Tian, jokingly saying it was for easy communication.

With the wire rope transmission device set up, Lin Tian first sent Ye Feng to the rooftop of the opposite building, just in time for the operation to start at 9 PM sharp.

”Action!” Ye Feng’s voice came through the earpiece, clearly heard by Lin Tian.

Lin Tian jumped directly down, a shadow flying between the two buildings.

First floor, second floor, third floor... When he reached the eleventh floor and was just about to count if it was correct, Ye Feng’s voice suddenly came through the earpiece: ”Stop!”

In an instant, the device around his waist tightened, and Lin Tian hovered by the window of the 23rd floor.

”Feng’s eyesight is extraordinary, isn’t it?” Lin Tian couldn’t help but joke through the earpiece.

Between floors, with darkness so thick, Ye Feng could see everything clearly.

Buzz buzz!

Just as Lin Tian was thinking this, he suddenly noticed a small red light flashing continuously in the night sky.

”What is that?” Lin Tian realized for the first time that a mysterious object was floating in the air.

”That’s my drone, it can observe everything outside the building!” Ye Feng’s voice came through the earpiece with pride.

As Ye Feng spoke, Lin Tian pulled a glass cutter from the sleeve of his tight suit and began scraping at the building’s window.

A piece of glass was easily cut, the opening just big enough for a very slender person to pass through.

”So narrow?” Lin Tian looked at the small opening on the glass, bewildered.

It was his first time using such a tool as a glass cutter.

As he complained, Lin Tian’s body swiftly turned from vertical to horizontal, slipping through the small opening in the window with agile movements.

”Impressive!” Ye Feng, watching the scene transmitted from the drone, couldn’t help but praise Lin Tian’s skills. The fluid series of actions was a pleasure to watch.

When Lin Tian’s feet touched the building’s interior floor, he finally felt a sense of safety.

Humans, as creatures, surely feel safest when they’re firmly grounded!

Closing the window, Lin Tian hid the cut piece of glass behind a fire hydrant, in case any patrols passed by and noticed it.

”What now?” Lin Tian, being a first-time burglar, had no experience at all and had to ask Ye Feng for guidance.

”What do you mean? Keep moving forward!” Ye Feng directed him.

Moving stealthily through the darkness, passing by locked shop doors, Lin Tian suddenly stopped at a corner.

”There’s a camera ahead!” Lin Tian whispered into the earpiece for help: ”Feng, what now?”

”There’s a pair of shoes and gloves in your backpack, take them out!” Ye Feng instructed calmly.

Lin Tian rummaged through his backpack and took out a pair of shoe covers resembling shoes, asking in puzzled surprise, ”What are these?”

”I call them Gecko Shoes. The surface is made from a special adhesive, allowing you to climb walls like a gecko, but since the adhesive is limited, it’s only for short climbs!” Ye Feng began to explain the purpose of the shoes.

”Amazing!” Lin Tian donned the Gecko Shoes and gloves, feeling a sudden powerful suction force.

”The surveillance camera is slightly angled toward the ground, meaning there’s a blind spot, and the blind spot is in the direction of the ceiling!”

Hearing Ye Feng’s voice, Lin Tian began crawling up the wall like a gecko. If anyone passed by at that moment, they would see someone crawling on the ceiling, a truly bizarre sight.

”Experience really counts with age!” Lin Tian sincerely complimented.

If not for Ye Feng, tonight’s evaluation might have been ruined by him. Experience is indeed experience, and Ye Feng truly lives up to being an extraordinary thief!

After safely passing the surveillance camera, Lin Tian slowly descended from the ceiling; after all, being suspended on a ceiling for too long isn’t the most comfortable experience.

”What should I do next?” Lin Tian softly asked.

”Go straight ahead, then down a corridor, and you’ll reach the safe passage. After going downstairs and through another corridor, you’ll reach the vault!” Ye Feng’s voice guided him.

”Understood!” Lin Tian continued moving forward, sticking close to the wall.

As he walked, Lin Tian suddenly raised his eyelids, hearing in the quiet corridor not just his own footsteps, but another sharp sound of footsteps...
