The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 325: Chapter 325: Practice

”This building is thirty-four floors high. If we fall, we’ll be smashed to pieces!” Lin Tian glanced down and immediately felt dizzy, his legs nearly giving way, almost causing him to fall.

”Scared?” Chen Moxiang’s playful voice suddenly chimed in!

”Scared? Me, scared?” Lin Tian was just a bit unaccustomed to the height, but he wasn’t afraid of heights. He just needed a little time to adjust!

”Now we should discuss how to get across!” Ye Feng placed his backpack on the ground, which was fully equipped inside.

”Do we even need to discuss?” Lin Tian felt there was no need for such a discussion.

”Then how do you plan to get across?” Chen Moxiang asked curiously.

”Leave it to me!” Lin Tian chuckled and took out the equipment he had confiscated from Naokawa Kumashiro.

”Five minutes are up; we can begin!” Chen Moxiang looked at the watch on his right wrist and gave the order.

In an instant, members from six teams came to the rooftop’s edge, looking towards the opposite side, while Lin Tian suddenly thrust his right arm forward.

The steel cable, like a flying dragon, shot up suddenly and flew towards the opposite rooftop...

”What!” Ye Feng looked on incredulously at this scene. In the past, he had always used an air gun to shoot the cable across... It was the first time he had seen this method!

”Amazing!” Chen Moxiang was immediately captivated by Lin Tian, whose skills were exceptional...

Lin Tian’s display was impressively skillful. Before the other teams could respond, he shook his right arm again, sending another steel cable to the rooftop of the high-rise opposite.

”Come on over!” Lin Tian signaled to Ye Feng.

Although Ye Feng was frightened, his trust in Lin Tian drove him to proceed.

Lin Tian grabbed Ye Feng’s body, and the two of them jumped directly off the building.

This scene undoubtedly frightened everyone into a cold sweat. Any mistake here would surely mean a gruesome death.

Ye Feng could feel the wind roaring past his ears; he didn’t dare open his eyes until he felt his feet touching the ground, and his heart finally settled.

Lin Tian and Ye Feng appeared to suddenly fly up and safely landed on the rooftop of the opposite building.

In five minutes, both of them had safely landed on the other side, while the other five teams stood still, watching the thrilling scene without taking action. Lin Tian’s team had an undeniable advantage.

The assessment ended with the six teams returning to the rooftop of the Fuyuan Building; Lin Tian’s team was undoubtedly the first place.

”The team with the worst performance in the two assessments is eliminated!” Chen Moxiang announced as he read the results from a list.

With Chen Moxiang’s announcement, eight people from two teams were taken away by a group of people in black. Not only did they lose the assessment, but they also had to temporarily stay at the Security Management Institute, which was quite unfortunate!

With six teams reduced to four, the competition pressure decreased significantly, but the next assessments would be even more challenging.

”The next third assessment will take place in the evening!” Chen Moxiang paused and continued, ”As we all know, the Fuyuan Building has several jewelry and luxury stores, and on the twenty-second floor, there’s a vault that holds various valuables. The third assessment is to successfully steal an item from it without alerting the building’s security personnel or triggering the alarm system!”

”Hiss!” Upon hearing this, everyone present drew a sharp breath.

They had expected the last assessment to be difficult, but they never imagined it would be this challenging, requiring actual execution.

This truly caught everyone by surprise!

”I don’t care what methods you use, whether you infiltrate the building or enter from above; as long as you’re not discovered, it’s fine. But if you alert the security personnel or the alarm system, it means assessment failure; is that clear to everyone? If anyone has questions, feel free to ask!” Chen Moxiang’s sharp gaze swept across the room.

”Mr. Chen, even if we destroy parts of the building’s facilities, it’s okay, right?” asked a team leader.

Even though they were in practice, it was still an assessment. If they caused too much damage to the building, would their team have to pay compensation?

This was a significant concern. If they failed the assessment and then compensated for the building’s damages, it would be quite unwise.

”Just don’t blow up the Fuyuan Building!” Chen Moxiang snorted coldly, ”Don’t say I didn’t warn you; the security personnel and alarm systems at the Fuyuan Building have been slightly modified by us. If you make too much noise, beware of attracting the security guards!”

Chen Moxiang’s comment was intriguing; what did he mean by ”slightly modified by us”?

They represented the Security Management Institute, so it implied that the Fuyuan Building’s security personnel could be from the Institute. If that were the case, those security personnel would be quite formidable, far from ordinary building guards.

For a moment, everyone’s expressions turned grave, clearly understanding that the third assessment wouldn’t be easy.

The subsequent matters became straightforward, as the remaining four teams proceeded with their plans.

”What do we do?” Ye Feng asked shrewdly.

”Follow Feng’s lead!” After a brief interaction the previous day, Lin Tian already knew Ye Feng’s role.

”There are two ways to infiltrate the building: one is to enter through the main entrance, which is relatively safer. The only downside is that the vault is on the twenty-second floor, so we’ll have to cover a long distance while avoiding numerous security personnel and alarm systems!” Ye Feng sketched a rough layout of the building on paper, drawing an arrow below to indicate the first plan.

”What’s the second method?” Lin Tian pondered.

”The second is high altitude work, descending from the rooftop with a steel cable. After reaching a suitable floor, you open a window to enter the building. This method might help avoid most of the security personnel and alarm systems, but it also has drawbacks!” Chen Moxiang appeared beside them unexpectedly and chimed in.

”Exactly! The second method is the simplest and most effective!” Ye Feng agreed with a nod.

”But this method carries some risk too. If discovered, there’s virtually no chance for escape!” Ye Feng stated the downside of the second method.

”So both methods have pitfalls, and we can only choose the faster option?” Lin Tian realized there wasn’t a foolproof plan.

”Correct!” Ye Feng nodded.

”I think the second method suits us better!” Lin Tian voiced his opinion.

”I agree!” Ye Feng decided on the plan for the night: ”Then, it’s the second option!”

Of the four teams, only Lin Tian and his team of two remained on the rooftop. The other three teams had left, clearly having chosen the first plan...
