Starting Out As The God of Beasts

The world map changed with a single stroke of ink, but history was remade in the soil.

With the formal dissolution of Raksha City as an independent power, the noble lineage of House Etho was officially forged.

Attaris Etho, stepping down from his title as Grand Elder, took up the mantle of Duke, laying the administrative bedrock for Varania’s sixth major territory: the Duchy of Etho.

Directly adjacent to his domain, spanning the rolling, mineral-rich plateau that flanked the old border, Duchess Alisa claimed her long-awaited seat, establishing the sprawling Duchy of May.

With two new Duchies officially incorporated into the realm, the physical unification began at once.

The gates of former Raksha swung wide to let in not conquerors, but armies of Varanian architects, logistics officers, and earth-element mages.

Heavy structural teams immediately broke ground on massive highway projects, laying down thick, reinforced Varanite roads that directly tethered the urban core of former Raksha to the Imperial Capital at the Holy City.

Simultaneously, the Duchy of May exploded into a hive of industrial construction.

Under Alisa’s strict, sharp supervision, new cities sprouted from the arid plains like iron mushrooms.

Massive, stone-carved demarcation walls were erected across the landscape, cleanly defining the borders between the Duchy of May and the Duchy of Etho, ensuring that legal jurisdictions, tax conduits, and private troop movements remained pristine and unquestioned.

Yet, while thousands of citizens labored across the five Duchies to build walls of stone, their Apostle stood alone at the literal axis of the world.

Roy stood at the geometric center of the Hudeii Desert.

Around him, for hundreds of miles in every direction, lay vast, lifeless oceans of scorching sand.

The heat haze distorted the horizon into a shimmer of liquid fire.

It was a barren, forgotten tomb of dust—the precise midpoint connecting every city, duchy, and province of the old desert together.

Roy closed his gold-crimson flecked eyes, opening his consciousness to the divine system interface suspended within his soul.

Notifications flickered across his vision in translucent golden light:

[Conversion Phase Successful]

[5,000 Faith Points have been converted into 50 Beads of Creation Essence]

[5,000 Faith Points have been deducted from your balance.]

”It’s time”

Roy let out a quiet, lingering breath.

During the desperate, horrific battle against the True God Damascus, he had been forced to burn through his entire reserve of Faith Points just to convert them into raw Divine Essence to survive.

It had been a costly, brute-force expenditure born of sheer desperation.

Now, with dozens of devout believers turning their hearts to the God of Beasts every single minute, his pool of Faith Points was rapidly regenerating.

But this time, he was not spending his divine currency on destructive defensive magic.

He was using 5,000 Faith Points to lay down the permanent foundation of his empire.

Fifty beads of Creation Essence hovered within his divine core—glowing like microscopic, condensed stars, heavy with the primordial authority to reshape nature itself.

From his spatial storage, Roy retrieved the final crystal vial containing the remaining drops of the Sanctuary Recreator Elixir.

He uncorked the glass.

A fragrance that smelled of primordial rain, crushed flowers, and ancient earth washed over the burning sands.

With a flick of his clawed wrist, Roy poured the glowing, iridescent liquid directly onto the scorching dust.

The moment the elixir touched the earth, Roy activated his authority.

He crushed all fifty beads of Creation Essence simultaneously.

BOOM!

A silent, cosmic shockwave erupted from his feet.

Roy’s crimson wolf-man form dissolved into a brilliant, towering pillar of blinding golden-crimson light that stretched from the desert floor all the way into the stratosphere.

The fifty beads of Creation Essence shattered into millions of floating, ethereal runes, weaving together with the Sanctuary Recreator Elixir and sinking deep into the planetary crust beneath his feet.

Then, the miracle began.

It started as a low, musical hum that vibrated through the deep stone veins of the continent.

The scorching, suffocating heat of the desert was swept away in a single, refreshing second as a cool, moisture-laden breeze rolled across the sands.

In the Holy City, in Yeren, in Norona, and in the newly established Duchies of Etho and May, thousands of beastmen and humans dropped whatever they were holding.

They rushed to their windows, balconies, and city walls, staring out in stunned, absolute silence.

The golden sands of the Hudeii Desert were turning.

Before their very eyes, the endless, barren yellow dunes shimmered with an ethereal light, transforming into rich, dark, fertile loam.

Vast carpets of lush emerald grass, ancient towering trees, and blooming flora erupted from the earth at visible, impossible speed, sweeping across hundreds of miles like a green ocean tide.

It was not merely the surface that changed; the fundamental geology of the planet was being rewritten.

Deep beneath the newly created soil, the ambient divine energy catalyzed the mineral veins.

Veins of standard iron and stone underwent a profound atomic shift.

Across all six Duchies—not just near the Holy City—massive deposits of Varanite stone and ultra-rare Varanium ore materialized in the earth, enriching the kingdom’s raw material reserves beyond measure.

Unrefined gems, divine mana crystals, and high-grade precious metals became thousands of times richer, purer, and more concentrated within the subterranean caverns.

Furthermore, following Roy’s explicit pre-battle instructions, High Priest Croak’s spatial earth-shaping abilities had already carved out three massive, deep basins across the desert terrain.

As the divine elixir flooded these carved abysses, the air above them split open with soft, ethereal thunder.

Pure, crystal-clear water erupted from subterranean springs, filling the massive basins until they transformed into three expansive, glittering interior seas.

The divine elixir did not stop at mere water. Within the newly formed depths, life bloomed spontaneously.

Millions of species of glowing aquatic flora, exotic fish, and rare deep-sea creatures materialized within the crystalline blue waves, jumping into the air and splashing against the newly formed cliffs.

Gentle, mist-covered coastal beaches formed along the edges of the new seas.

Palm-like spiritual trees lined the white-sand shores, and the heavy, dusty sky cleared completely, revealing a vivid, brilliant blue expanse filled with soft, rain-bearing clouds.

The transformation was absolute.

The Hudeii Desert was no more.

In its place stood a pristine, hyper-fertile realm of lush forests, sweeping riverways, rich mountain ranges, and breathtaking coastal beauty.

What was once a hellish, arid graveyard for exiles had been terraformed into a paradise fit for gods.

Across the vast length of the new kingdom, millions of citizens fell to their knees upon the rich, cool grass.

Farmers wept as they dug their fingers into fertile soil; warriors bowed their heads as they felt the rich mana filling the air; and the Dukes stood in absolute awe atop their palace balconies, staring at a miracle that defied all cosmic logic.

At the epicenter of the new world, as the golden pillar of divine light slowly faded, Roy stood atop a lush, grassy hill overlooking one of the newly created inland seas.

The wind ruffled his crimson fur, carrying the sweet scent of blooming life.

The Hudeii Desert was gone.

The kingdom of Varania had truly begun.
