Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 760: Chapter 760 The one standing beside Second Brother is Evalian Chapman...

Nicole finished speaking and turned to leave.

Suddenly, her wrist was grabbed tightly, causing her some pain.

Nicole glanced back, facing Jose Floyd who had already come close and said coolly, ”Anything else?”

Jose Floyd’s hand holding Nicole’s wrist stiffened for a moment; he held even tighter, fearing she would leave if he loosened his grip.

Jose Floyd looked at Nicole, his gaze deep and intense, ready to say ”Don’t leave,” but he forced himself to instead say, ”Remember, you still owe me money—dinner money!”

Nicole nodded lightly, ”Okay, send your account number to my phone, I’ll transfer it to you.”

Jose Floyd hesitated, ”...I want cash!”

If it’s a transfer, will he still get to see her? It must be cash!

Who seriously wanted her to repay the money? It was just an excuse! Although a very flimsy one!!

Nicole pressed her lips, ”I’ll have Ariel bring it to you; she’s going back to Clearflower Estate anyway.”

In other words, she wouldn’t see him again, not even for repaying the money.

Jose Floyd was blocked, his heart weighed down in horror, his grip on her wrist tightening even further.

Nicole’s eyebrows furrowed in pain, she reached out, brushed away Jose Floyd’s hand and said lightly, ”Jose Floyd, let us leave it at that; don’t show mercy towards me, because someday you will regret it!”

Jose Floyd’s stiff fingers were brushed open by Nicole, his gaze cold and icy.

Nicole didn’t look at him again and left the room briskly.

Having exited the door, the cold gaze from behind finally ceased to fix on her back; Nicole’s fingers trembled as her heart ached.

In the room, Jose Floyd struck the wall with a clenched fist, his eyes cold and devoid of warmth.

Daisy Grant, due to a foot injury, hadn’t gone out these past few days, staying in her room all day.

Daisy Grant finished her tasks, organized all the documents and plan she had worked overnight to complete, and smiled upon seeing her foot almost healed.

Daisy Grant picked up her phone and dialed Ariel Morris, hoping to meet up for some shopping and a chat.

”Daisy, I am currently at Brother Dawn’s place. Are you coming? Brother Dawn’s company is opening soon, and he is very busy. I’m here with Arlo and Nico helping out; Brother Dawn said he’ll treat us to hotpot later.”

Daisy’s hand holding the phone paused, ”You’re all at Brother Dawn’s place?”

Speaking of Brother Dawn, she hadn’t seen him for a few days.

”Yes, the company opens the day after tomorrow. Brother Dawn is quite busy, so I came with Arlo to help out. Why don’t you come over? It’s all old friends, we can treat it as a gathering! Come for the meal, hurry up, we’re waiting for you!”

A voice from Arlo Seys could be heard on Ariel’s side, Daisy replied with an ”okay,” and hung up.

Daisy selected a lovely and ladylike outfit from the wardrobe to change into, tidied up her face, put the documents in her bag, and set out joyfully.

When Daisy arrived at Dawn Sutherland’s company, she found the place bustling. Besides employees rushing around, Ariel, Arlo, and Nico were also present. However, Daisy’s gaze was drawn to the gentle smile of Dawn Sutherland, and when she noticed the person standing next to him, she stiffened.

The person beside Brother Dawn was Evalian Chapman.

”Daisy!”

Ariel’s gaze followed the incoming person, offering a smile and greeting.

Everyone in Dawn’s office looked towards the last arriving Daisy Grant.

Daisy composed herself, smiling before speaking, ”Everyone’s here.”

While speaking, Daisy restrained herself from looking at Dawn, yet couldn’t help but glance at him out of the corner of her eye.
