Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 330: Chapter 330: Her 8 Years in Dublin! [4]

Langdon Seal said till here, watching Arlo Seys as a bitter smile played at the corner of his mouth, ”Do you know what she said?” Langdon paused, then continued in a low voice, ”The sentence she said was ’my potted plant’.”

”I’ve never seen a girl like this, fainted away yet still worried about a potted plant.”

”I carried her back home, and when leaving, I told the driver to get off and pick up the potted plant from the shattered pot. I called the private doctor to come over immediately to treat her. When the doctor cut open the white gauze and looked at the wound on her left wrist, my heart trembled fiercely.”

”A wound so shocking, even without the doctor explaining how it happened, I could tell it was from a wrist-cut suicide attempt.”

With Langdon’s low voice retelling, across from him, Arlo Seys’ fingertips trembled hard. That scene... she attempted wrist-cut suicide, the floor covered in blood, he dared not think of it.

Each thought of it felt like a stab to his heart, raw and painful!

Langdon glanced at him, also sensing the deep compassion and sorrow in his eyes, Langdon continued to speak.

”I cared for her for a month, during which I heard her speak less than ten sentences; I asked her questions but she only shook her head or nodded, never speaking, with no smile on her face.”

”Three months passed, and I discovered an issue. She only ever smiled, faintly, when facing that succulent plant she brought, and her eyes softened with light.”

”That kind of smile, pure and beautiful, the shallow dimples blooming, very lovely.”

”I thought her smile looked so nice, surely she loved to smile greatly before, yet now she remained wordless in daily silence, so I found her a psychologist.”

”With the aid of a psychologist, after more than a year, she progressed from not speaking to occasionally speaking, then later mostly answering your questions or casually chatting a few words. This change delighted me, and she indeed attracted me.”

”One day she was tending that succulent plant, I stayed by her side, smiling lightly I asked why she cared for that plant, she said it was because the person she loved most had given it to her.”

”The time I remember most vividly was when she had a high fever, a continuous fever for three days with no remission, even the doctor was at a loss.”

”In her fever-dazed state, eyes weakly half-open, I watched over her by the bedside. During those three nights, in her delirium, she repeatedly called out someone’s name.”

Langdon spoke till this point, observing Arlo Seys’ face turn somber, his voice chilled several degrees, ”Arlo Seys, if all these do not prove she loves you, then I feel I truly do not understand what love in this world means.”

To say it wasn’t shocking would be a lie, when Arlo Seys heard Langdon recount how Ariel Morris yearned for him in Dublin, he felt both compassion and pain.

Arlo Seys looked at Langdon, his voice slightly hoarse and rough, ”If this is the case, why did she attempt to commit wrist-cut suicide? Why did she leave me? Why did she write me a breakup letter?”

These three questions were what he urgently wanted answers to, he did not want these questions to keep them apart, unable to reunite after eight long years.

The world’s most poisonous hatred is having destiny without fortune.

And he and Ariel Morris, must not have destiny without fortune, must not have deep affection with shallow fate, he wants them to cherish together till old, hand in hand!

Langdon took a sip of coffee, looking at Arlo Seys, and asked in a deep voice, ”Do you think loving someone that deeply, longing unrelentingly for eight years, why would she suddenly leave? Don’t you think there might be hidden truths you’re unaware of? Arlo Seys, if you were Ariel, if you loved her, but suddenly one day left, under what circumstances would you leave the person you love most?”
