Chapter 326: Chapter 326: The Truth About Ariel Morris’s Suicide! [2]

Ariel Morris’s consciousness gradually became blurred, blood kept dripping down, and she felt her body starting to get cold.

Ariel Morris had no strength left, she slid down to the floor by the bed, leaning against the bed behind her to keep herself from lying down. She reached for the phone on the bed and dialed her foster mother’s number.

As soon as the call connected, she weakly said, ”Come to my room, at the latest in ten minutes, you can collect my body.”

Just as she pressed the hang-up button, the hurried footsteps of her foster parents sounded, and then the door was pushed open.

”Ariel Morris! What are you doing!” Laura Pinley and Damien Morris, who rushed in, were startled by the blood on the floor beside her.

Ariel Morris chuckled lightly, with a sarcastic smile on her lips, ”Using me to plot against Arlo Seys, do you really feel nothing for your foster daughter?”

So, if she died, would her foster parents be indifferent too?

Laura quickly came over, her face showing shock, ”What are you doing? Playing at wrist-cutting suicide! Have you ever considered the consequences for me and your dad? We’ve raised you for so many years, how could we not have any feelings?!”

Ariel’s eyes were deep, ”If you care about my life or death, hand over the video to me!”

Laura’s pupils contracted slightly, her face remained calm, ”What video?! I don’t know what you’re talking about, I’ll take you to the hospital immediately!”

”Ha,” Ariel sneered, her eyes filled with pain, ”I’m not going to the hospital, give me the video! The video from the Imperial Garden Hotel!”

Laura tried to press down to stop Ariel’s incessant bleeding, but couldn’t, and shouted to Damien behind her, ”Call Doctor Chapman to come to the house! Quick!”

She didn’t genuinely care about the life or death of this foster daughter, but if Ariel died at home now, and Arlo Seys found out, he would definitely investigate the cause of Ariel’s death. She was just afraid the Imperial Garden Hotel incident would be exposed, and with Ariel’s death, she and her husband Damien Morris would certainly be the prime suspects!

”Give me the disc!” Ariel threw off Laura’s hand that was trying to stop her bleeding, her tone extremely cold.

”Stop the bleeding first! If you keep bleeding like this, you’ll be dead before the doctor arrives!” Laura urgently shouted.

Ariel looked at her, her face pale but her eyes determined, ”I won’t accept treatment unless you hand over the video!”

Damien and Laura exchanged a glance, Damien had his face set, eyes slightly narrowed, exuding a fierce light. Laura turned back to look at Ariel and nodded, ”Fine, I’ll give you the disc! Damien, call the doctor! Quickly!”

Ariel’s lips curved into a faint smile, and she gradually closed her eyes, losing consciousness...

Doctor Chapman rushed to the Morris Family half an hour later, during which Laura stabilized Ariel’s increasing bleeding over the phone according to Doctor Chapman’s instructions.

Ariel woke up two hours later.

When Ariel opened her eyes, she looked at her wrist, which was already wrapped in white gauze, then looked at Laura standing by the bed, her first words were: ”Give me the disc.”

Laura looked somewhat displeased but still handed over a disc to Ariel, ”For Arlo Seys, you attempted suicide to get this disc, is it worth it?”

Ariel took the disc and without hesitation, snapped it in half, with force, causing the white gauze on her left wrist to soak in red again.

She looked at the disc broken in two in her hands and said blandly, ”For him, it’s worth it.”

Laura looked at her, standing silently in place.

Ariel looked out the window, spoke in a low voice, ”I want to go abroad, I want to leave City C.”

She couldn’t guarantee her foster parents wouldn’t try to use her against Arlo again. She couldn’t protect Arlo every time, and the best way was to ensure the Morris Family could no longer use her.
