Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 321: Chapter 321 Climax! The Truth from 8 Years Ago! [4]

Evan Seys glanced at his son, whose expression was cold and indifferent, feeling an uncontrollable surge of anger. He picked up a rattan and went over to whip, ”Fifty million? Do you really dare to come home and ask for that? Do you really think that just because outsiders call you the Seys Family’s Crown Prince, you’re some favored child of fate, that you can squander at will like those rich second-generation kids?! The Seys Family’s reputation will be ruined by you sooner or later! You useless thing who doesn’t strive for progress!”

Veralina Quinn and Adonis Quinn watched as the rattan whipped hard on Arlo Seys’ body, and their hearts ached as they stepped forward to stop it. Evan Seys furiously yelled at the two, ”Stand there! Today, I’m beating him to death if I have to! Fighting in groups! Falling in love at school, and now daring to come home and ask for such a large sum of money! In the future, he’s going straight to the top of the world?!”

Evan Seys was a high-ranking officer in the military district, carrying the imposing air of a military man. His shouts made the Quinn siblings dare not defy him at this moment, only daring to watch Arlo Seys being beaten with heartache.

The rattan swung over and over, each strike landing with full force on Arlo Seys’ body. Arlo stood still, his face cold and indifferent, not making a sound, his fists clenched tightly at his sides, enduring the lashes.

These lashes couldn’t compare to the pain caused by the words Laura Pinley had said in the café that afternoon, words that shattered his heart into pieces.

After half an hour of harsh whipping by Evan Seys, Arlo Seys’ vision gradually blurred, and he fell backward.

”Arlo!”

Veralina Quinn and Adonis Quinn, who had been watching him with concern, were the first to notice something was wrong. Seeing his body falling backward, Adonis Quincy quickly rushed over to catch him.

Veralina Quinn looked at her unconscious son and angrily confronted Evan Seys, ”Are you satisfied?! When has Arlo ever really worried you since he was young? You have such a considerate son, and you beat him like this. Are you trying to beat him to death?! So what if it’s early love?! Can’t early love be true love?! The child has grown up! He has his own thoughts and ideas! During puberty, who hasn’t been moved? Last time, you almost beat him to death, and now you’re beating him again! You might as well just kill your son!”

Adonis Quinn held Arlo Seys, ”Sis, go get the first aid kit!”

”Okay.”

Veralina Quinn and Adonis Quinn took Arlo Seys upstairs to the bedroom.

Veralina Quinn applied medicine to her son, tears streaming down her face as she looked at the red and swollen marks left by the rattan.

When Arlo Seys slowly opened his eyes, an hour had passed.

”Arlo! You scared mom to death!” Veralina Quinn hugged her son and cried.

Adonis Quinn also sat on the bedside, looking at his nephew, and breathed a sigh of relief.

Arlo Seys looked at the two of them, finally speaking in a hoarse voice after a long pause, ”Mom, Uncle, give me fifty million. I will definitely pay you back, I swear.”

”Arlo, what exactly do you need the money for?” Adonis Quinn looked at him with a heavy expression, ”Fifty million is not a small amount. If you need it, Uncle has it, but I want to know why you need so much money?”

A bitter smile spread on Arlo Seys’ lips, ”Uncle, don’t ask me why. I will definitely pay you back, I can write you an IOU. Once I graduate, once I’ve started my business, I will pay you back, Uncle.”

Veralina Quinn looked at her son, filled with heartache, ”Arlo, can’t you even tell mom and uncle?”

Arlo Seys tightly pressed his thin lips together, ”Mom, don’t ask anymore, and don’t go to school to inquire about what’s going on between her and me, give me some privacy... We’re over.”

Veralina Quinn hugged her son, ”Mom won’t go to the school to inquire, and mom won’t ask, I believe my son can handle it well.”

Arlo Seys was silent for a while, then spoke in a voice tinged with bitter hoarseness, ”Mom, I want to go into business, I don’t want to follow the path dad arranged for me.”
