Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

Seeing her hand tightly holding Lu Yu’s, Leng Qingqiu’s pretty face turned red at this moment. She quickly released her grip on Lu Yu’s hand, her previously expressionless face now feeling hot.

”What is going on?”

At this moment, Leng Qingqiu’s entire face was flushed, and she couldn’t help but feel a bit confused, as if she had no recollection of making the move!

When exactly did she make that move?

Even though she couldn’t believe it, her hand had indeed just grabbed Lu Yu’s hand!

Now, Leng Qingqiu’s little heart was beating wildly. Besides shaking hands, this was the first time she had voluntarily held another man’s hand, and it was in front of her parents, and she voluntarily held Lu Yu’s hand!

What has the world come to?

She actually voluntarily held the hand of someone she very much disliked five years ago!

Looking at Leng Qingqiu’s expression in front of him, Lu Yu smiled faintly, then leaned over next to her, catching a faint fragrance in his nostrils.

”People are like animals; when excited, scared, or shy, they always make some subconscious movements.”

At this moment, Lu Yu spoke with a smile, his words full of teasing: ”You were so skilled just now. Have you always wanted to hold my hand?”

”I would never want to hold your hand!”

At this moment, hearing Lu Yu’s words, Leng Qingqiu immediately retorted, ”We are just under a contractual employment relationship; there are no other factors involved.”

”Hmm, I believe that.”

Hearing Leng Qingqiu’s words, Lu Yu said, ”But I don’t know if your parents believe it. Anyway, they saw you holding my hand and running out. I am curious to see how you will explain it.”

Lu Yu spoke full of schadenfreude, with a teasing tone.

”Are you so happy?”

Seeing Lu Yu’s gloating expression, Leng Qingqiu spoke up, now understanding the situation, her parents’ thoughts, along with that scene of her holding Lu Yu’s hand just now.

Now, this situation is something she can’t explain away even if she jumped into the Yellow River.

”Hmm!”

Hearing Leng Qingqiu’s words, Lu Yu agreed cooperatively, his face full of teasing. Thinking of how many times he had been humiliated in front of Leng Qingqiu five years ago, he now felt extremely satisfied.

Seeing such a cheeky expression on Lu Yu’s face, Leng Qingqiu got more upset, then she extended her delicate hand and pinched Lu Yu’s arm several times. However, these pinches were nothing to Lu Yu but did look like a flirtatious spat between a couple.

”Hahaha, old man, I think the last time we saw Qingqiu acting cute like this was when she was in primary school. Look at her, she’s so adorable.”

At this moment, as Leng Qingqiu was pinching Lu Yu, Ye Siwen’s voice came through.

Upon hearing this, Leng Qingqiu’s whole body froze, then she turned her head, just in time to see her parents standing not far away, looking at her with smiles.

”Hahaha, fighting is affection, scolding is love. Look, the young couple gets along so well.”

At this moment, Leng Huai Xin spoke with a smile after hearing Ye Siwen’s words, his speech full of cheer: ”It seems Qingqiu really likes Lu Yu.”

Hearing this, Leng Qingqiu was utterly speechless, looking at her parents with a feeling of helplessness.

Originally, she was just upset and wanted to pinch Lu Yu a few times to vent, but now she got labeled as showing off love, and she really couldn’t explain it!

At this moment, seeing the expression on Leng Qingqiu’s face, Lu Yu then turned his head, and after seeing the smiling faces of Leng Huai Xin and Ye Siwen beside him, he smiled slightly and spoke, ”Uncle, Aunt, sorry to let you see this.”

”Why would you say that?”

Responding in unison, Ye Siwen and Leng Huai Xin said, ”Qingqiu is a bit cold in nature. I was initially worried you couldn’t handle her, but it seems you two are very loving!”

Leng Huai Xin emphasized the words ”young couple” with a smile: ”This makes me relieved. So Lu Yu, whenever you decide to get married, just let us know, and we will arrange a good event!”

”Right, it would be best to get married after having a child, so we can quickly have a grandchild,” supplemented Ye Siwen with a smile in her words.

”Dad! Mom! I’m not talking to you anymore!”

Hearing her parents’ words, Leng Qingqiu’s entire face turned crimson. She never expected her parents to think so far ahead, even bringing up the topic of children.

After saying that, Leng Qingqiu couldn’t help but turn around and head to her room upstairs, looking very shy.

”Hahaha, Qingqiu is indeed shy.”

Seeing Leng Qingqiu heading upstairs, Leng Huai Xin smiled slightly, then his expression turned slightly serious as he spoke earnestly to Lu Yu, ”Lu Yu, we invited you over mainly to see how you are doing. But since you and Qingqiu have such a relationship, I am relieved. With the friendship I shared with your father, you don’t have to worry so much. Just let us know when you want to marry Qingqiu. Don’t be too constrained.”

Hearing Leng Huai Xin’s words, Lu Yu couldn’t help but feel touched. The Leng Huai Xin couple were good friends with his parents. Lu Yu had always known that he thought the two families just had an ordinary relationship, but he never expected that at this moment, Leng Huai Xin would say such things to him.

Indeed, in this world, time reveals people’s true hearts!

The families he was originally close to, after the Lu Family fell apart, all cut ties, while the Leng Family still held this attitude towards him, which made Lu Yu sigh.

With this in mind, Lu Yu smiled slightly and then spoke, ”Uncle, Aunt, thank you.”

”There’s no need to say thank you. We are friends with your parents, helping you is the right thing to do,” said Ye Siwen, nodding her head. ”It’s also almost noon; stay for lunch.”

”No need, Aunt,” Lu Yu smiled slightly, then shook the USB drive that Leng Huai Xin had given him earlier and said, ”I want to go back and see what’s inside this USB drive, so I won’t disturb you any longer.”

Having been missing for five years, in his memories, his parents’ faces became more blurred the more he tried to recall them. Now with this USB drive, he could take a look, and consider it a way to remember them.

”Okay, in that case, drive safely,” said Leng Huai Xin and his wife, understanding Lu Yu’s feelings.

”I will. Thank you, Uncle and Aunt. With that, I’ll take my leave,” Lu Yu smiled slightly, then slowly turned around and headed towards the exit of the Leng Family Manor.
