Genshin x Minecraft: Building the Temple of Virtue

”Weather and... diurnal cycles?”

The Tsaritsa’s fingers tightened visibly around her pen, a rare ripple of astonishment crossing her pale features.

”Can fundamental natural laws like these truly be engraved as enchantments? How is such a thing possible? Can the enchantment matrix truly reach this conceptual boundary?”

”Enchanting is, at its root, the engraving of worldly principles. Yet, for these primordial laws of creation to be materialized so casually... Even as an Archon, I struggle to comprehend the logic.”

The surrounding leaders leaned in closer, their gazes locking intently onto Ryen.

Ryen merely shrugged with a faint, wry smile.

”Do not look at me like that. I find it just as absurd as you do, but within this realm, it exists as absolute, undeniable fact.”

”First, the weather-based enchantments: Song of the Azure Sky, Grace of Dew and Rain, Gift of Swift Lightning, and Winter’s Mercy.”

”Next, the diurnal celestial enchantments: Moonlit Prayer and Solar Praise.”

”The corresponding atmospheric phenomena should be fairly self-evident, right?”

Ryen paused, letting the room digest the names before continuing in a steady cadence.

”Take Song of the Azure Sky VI, for example. Under clear skies, your outgoing physical and skill damage receives a massive bonus, but if the weather shifts to rain or storm, your damage output drops accordingly.”

”The same logic applies to Grace of Dew and Rain and the other environmental modifiers.”

”Weather enchantments mutually conflict. A single piece of equipment can host only one.”

”As for the diurnal modifiers, Moonlit Prayer dramatically boosts damage dealt during the night and inflicts blindness on struck targets, though its output is reduced during daylight hours.”

”Solar Praise enhances damage during the daytime and marks enemies with a glowing outline, while suffering a penalty under the cover of night.”

”These six modifiers can be classified as environmental enchantments. With clever tactical loadouts, a fighter can unleash terrifying bursts of damage whenever the conditions align.”

”Especially when stacked alongside other direct combat modifiers.”

”Just picture it for a moment. Stack Advanced Power, Advanced Punch, Supreme Sharpness, Moonlit Prayer, and Song of the Azure Sky onto a single weapon.”

”A diamond blade forged like that might struggle to execute a full-fledged Archon in a single blow, but cutting down a standard divine familiar...”

Silence settled over the hall as the leaders rapidly ran the numbers in their heads.

When the compounding multipliers were tallied line by line, a chill ran down several spines.

Even with the modest selection of modifiers Ryen had just outlined, a diamond sword engraved with those glyphs could comfortably strike down ordinary divine familiars.

It was an armament that far surpassed the definition of mortal weaponry.

In close-quarters combat, it was virtually peerless.

At the very least, Mountain Shaper and the senior adepti present knew that if they stood on the receiving end of such a blade, their bodies would not withstand many direct hits.

It elevated an ordinary mortal’s physical lethality to an unbelievable height.

Leaving aside the reality-warping properties of top-tier SlashBlades and Ryen’s personal Sword of the Cosmos, a diamond sword packed with these modifiers stood as the pinnacle of conventional melee arms.

Naturally, formulating the ideal configuration remained a delicate logistical challenge.

Seeing the dawn of understanding in their eyes, Ryen waited patiently for their quills to finish scratching across the parchment before speaking again.

”Are your notes in order? Weather modifiers are merely the baseline opening act.”

Before anyone could voice a question, Ryen continued smoothly.

”Next, the runic branch: Runic Piercing, Runic Arcane Blessing, Runic Reforge, Runic Starfall, Runic Sealing Curse, and Runic Rebirth.”

”These modifiers have transcended traditional enchantment logic, ascending directly into the realm of conceptual runic engraving.”

”Runic Piercing possesses absolute armor-shredding properties. In other words, even if Zhongli encloses a warrior within the Jade Shield, a blow with this modifier will bypass the golden barrier entirely, delivering kinetic trauma straight to the physical body underneath.”

”Runic Arcane Blessing converts all outgoing physical impact directly into raw magical damage.”

”Runic Reforge grants a fixed probability for shattered, zero-durability equipment to instantly reconstruct itself in pristine condition.”

”Runic Starfall functions much like my Heaven Fallen Longbow. Firing a single arrow calls down a localized, torrential rain of kinetic starlight over the target coordinate.”

”Runic Sealing Curse afflicts struck targets with a debilitating, cumulative weakening hex.”

”Runic Rebirth... Upon suffering a fatal blow, the wielder instantly resurrects on the spot with full vitality, rendering a Totem of Undying completely unnecessary.”

”And Piercing Arrow applies the same armor-bypassing rule to ranged archery.”

”These runic modifiers represent absolute, game-changing parameters.”

”Their practical utility should be crystal clear to everyone here. I doubt I need to belabor the point, do I?”

The assembly stared blankly at Ryen, their pens hovering frozen in the air for several long seconds before furious scribbling resumed across the long table.

Runic modifiers completely shattered their preconceptions of battlefield physics.

Bypassing absolute shields, conceptual curses, unconditional resurrection on death...

Every single entry made the pulse quicken.

Even for the elite champions and Archons gathered in the room, integrating these glyphs into their personal loadouts meant a massive leap in lethality.

What, then, would it do for the regular standing armies?

Claiming that the More Enchantments module would single-handedly elevate the baseline floor of the entire world’s combat power was no exaggeration whatsoever.

Without pausing to let them raise questions, Ryen continued his breakdown.

”The next category will sound even more surreal, particularly to Alhaitham and the scholars of Sumeru. These are the academic branch modifiers.”

”What?”

The Sumeru scholars snapped their heads upward, looking at Ryen with utter bewilderment.

”Academic enchantments,” Ryen said, leaning forward. ”The Science modifier grants an offensive damage multiplier on par with top-tier weather enchantments, while carrying a distinct chance to trigger a massive kinetic explosion right beneath the target’s feet.”

”The Mathematics modifier, beyond granting fixed bonus damage, inflicts additional true damage calculated directly from the target’s maximum health pool.”

”The Athletics modifier converts your successful offensive strikes into a continuous stream of personal restorative and buffing draughts.”

”At maximum rank, it bestows Jump Boost V, Regeneration IV, Strength II, Haste IV, Speed IV, and Resistance III.”

”A pure berserker modifier that turns the wielder stronger with every passing second of combat.”

Observing the dumbfounded silence that swallowed the hall, Ryen spread his hands helplessly.

”I know it sounds utterly absurd. To be completely honest, I find it just as baffling as you do. But since the system has produced it, there is no sense in brooding over why it exists.”

”Your immediate duty is to accept these mechanics as reality and devise ways to operationalize them across our fronts.”

”Leave theoretical contemplation for your leisure hours.”

The leaders exchanged long, complicated glances, then quietly lowered their heads to resume recording every detail.

”Following that, we have the curse branch. Curses carry a vast assortment of distinct negative side effects, each more peculiar than the last, making a comprehensive breakdown rather tedious.”

”Simply remember that curse modifiers exist. When our units identify them in the wild, I will explain their specific mechanics individually.”

Ryen offered only a brief overview for the curses. Compared to the previous game-changing entries, their operational value was far more situational, lacking universal utility.

Analyzing them on a case-by-case basis upon discovery was far more practical.

”Our final major category comprises specialized weapon combat modifiers.”

Ryen clapped his hands firmly, snapping the weary leaders back to sharp attention.

In all honesty, none of them had taken notes this aggressively even during their earliest days of administrative schooling.

And this was merely the first of the two custom-selected modules.

The second module waiting in line was the Genshin Impact module itself.

Ryen glanced toward Zhongli out of the corner of his eye, intensely curious to see how the Lord of Geo would react upon realizing he was about to become a weekly farmable world boss within this reality.

”Weapon modifiers are vast and exhaustive in scope,” Ryen continued.

”Ancient Swordsmanship Mastery, Life Steal, Purifying Edge, Blade of Humiliation, Mortal Reminder, Atomic Disintegration, Frostbite, Spellbreaker Edge, Poison Coating...”

”Critical Strike, Unpredictable Shift, Repulsion, Desolation Herald, Shadow Grasp...”

”In total, there are nearly fifty distinct weapon-specific enchantment modifiers.”

”Every single one of them provides formidable, targeted combat efficiency.”

”Detailing every entry here would take all day, so I will spare you the lecture.”

”As a general directive, whenever your units recover enchanted grimoires pertaining to weapon combat, secure them without hesitation.”

”If particular interactions confuse your scholars, I will provide individual guidance later.”

”In short, with More Enchantments deployed across this world, the baseline combat efficiency of your standing armies will skyrocket to a terrifying standard.”

”Once we invest the time to gather these modifiers and complete total military modernization...”

”Claiming that every single front-line infantryman possesses combat metrics rivaling an elite Vision wielder in Teyvat will be a statement of pure fact.”

”While many of these modifiers carry mutual conflicts, distributing them across the one hundred and thirty newly introduced paths still leaves an immense room for stacking.”

”If a standard blade hosts enough compatible modifiers, it may not match a Master-tier staff in conceptual versatility, but it will undeniably outstrip standard top-tier SlashBlades.”

”Furthermore, do not forget: SlashBlades can be enchanted as well!”

Ryen paused, letting out a soft, rueful sigh.

”The only slight pity is that More Enchantments was unlocked after the cataclysmic siege concluded. Had it been active during the forty-nine days, the endless hordes of enchanted undead would have provided an instant, astronomical harvest of grimoires.”

”The modifiers are magnificent, but extracting them systematically from scratch will demand steady labor. Our villager trading complexes will likely need to expand by at least a dozen wings.”

The leaders set down their quills, gently rotating their stiff, aching wrists.

Ganyu spoke in a gentle, soothing tone.

”Unlocking More Enchantments now is for the best. Had it been active during the siege, the undead would have wielded these exact modifiers against us.”

”Our defense of Redstone City would have been exponentially bloodier, and our casualties far heavier.”

Ryen nodded, offering an easy smile. ”I was merely remarking on the missed loot.”

Sangonomiya Kokomi rested her chin on her hand, speaking after a moment of quiet tactical thought.

”More Enchantments is a system that warrants our maximum developmental priority. Whether for elevating the baseline of our common infantry or raising the combat ceiling of our elite champions, it stands firmly in the premier tier alongside the Wizardry mod.”

”Relying solely on villager trading centers to scale production will be too slow, however.”

”Fortunately, we possess distinct shortcuts.”

Kokomi’s eyes brightened, a strategic smile gracing her lips.

”Our automated mob grinders produce hundreds of armored zombies daily, providing a steady baseline stream of enchanted drops.”

”Our exploration forces sweeping the New Continent will undoubtedly encounter many such creatures in the field as well.”

”We must instruct the troops to maintain high vigilance. While More Enchantments will make wild monsters hit harder, mindless undead lack the intellect to maximize their gear’s synergy.”

”Backed by our modern firearms, our soldiers can neutralize them with minimal risk.”

”Beyond mob farming, our most crucial source remains Lucky Blocks.”

”Lucky Blocks frequently yield fully realized enchanted grimoires and masterwork weapons.”

”As our expansion across the New Continent accelerates, we will inevitably unearth vast clusters of Lucky Blocks. Channeling Miss Ganyu’s extraordinary fortune will undoubtedly propel our enchantment progress forward at blistering speed.”

”Unlike modules such as SlashBlade, which required us to construct specialized metallurgical pipelines from absolute zero, the enchantment system is a framework we have already mastered and integrated.”

”Given a short runway, our military apparatus may very well master More Enchantments far faster than the Wizardry mod. Our troops understand enchanting intimately; with sufficient manpower, execution will be second nature.”

The leaders nodded in unanimous agreement.

This had been precisely the reasoning behind Ryen and Ningguang’s selection.

Building upon existing infrastructure ensured rapid returns, allowing their operational efficiency to outpace foreign systems and escalate baseline strength without delay.

With custom selection available, Ryen possessed the tools to launch everyone’s growth into an exponential trajectory.

”The tactical framework of More Enchantments is clear to all,” Zhongli said, offering a slow, dignified nod. ”It is undeniably an exceptional addition. That being the case, the second custom selection must surely offer even greater promise, correct?”

As the words left his mouth, Zhongli caught a fleeting, peculiar glint in the eyes of Ryen and Yae Miko.

It looked...

Remarkably like suppressed, mischievous amusement.

A wide grin tugged at the corner of Ryen’s lips as he gave a firm, enthusiastic nod.

”Indeed. The second module is designed to elevate our absolute ceiling. In fact, for everyone in this room, its developmental curve will be far simpler than More Enchantments.”

”Truth be told, I likely will not need to explain a single mechanic to you.”

Anticipation stirred across the room, Zhongli and the Archons looking at him with genuine curiosity.

Ryen dropped all pretense of suspense, speaking in a bright, clear voice.

”Our second custom module is titled... Genshin Impact.”

”What on earth...?”

”The module name: Genshin Impact!”
