Genshin x Minecraft: Building the Temple of Virtue

”Suitable?”

Absurd was the only fitting word.

The women stared at Ryen with deeply conflicted expressions, utterly speechless before the sheer ridiculousness of the Genshin Impact module.

Discovering that the world where they had spent their entire mortal lives was merely a modded expansion pack inside this universe was disorienting enough.

Now, even the sacred armaments and rarest treasures of Teyvat were about to be turned into mass-produced assembly-line commodities.

That psychological whiplash was something Ryen, viewing the cosmos from his sovereign plane, could scarcely appreciate.

Ningguang held a hundred burning inquiries, yet with the module not yet installed, she hardly knew where to begin.

After a protracted silence, a sudden realization crossed her mind, and she spoke in a soft, measured voice.

”I have a question.”

Ryen glanced at her, catching her line of thought in an instant.

”You wish to know whether Artifacts and divine weapons can receive enchantments, correct?”

Ningguang nodded slowly.

Ryen answered without a heartbeat of hesitation.

”Without question. Within the framework of this world, Artifacts function as specialized armor sets, and weapons adhere to standard weapon matrices.”

”Furthermore, if we commit to the Genshin Impact module, our selection for the secondary foundational mod practically settles itself.”

”More Enchants.”

Ningguang and the leaders blinked, the full strategic picture snapping into sharp focus.

Bizarre as the concept felt, integrating the system into the voxel physics of this universe meant that the ceiling of the Genshin Impact module would transcend the furthest reaches of their imagination.

”Picture the possibilities,” Ryen murmured, his voice rich with anticipation.

”Pairing More Enchants with the Genshin Impact module opens a boundless catalog of affix combinations for your blades.”

”Atmospheric enchantments, ancient runic enchantments, elemental damage multipliers, the same rules apply to Artifact pieces as well.”

”The baseline combat parameters of divine weapons and sacred relics will undergo an unprecedented qualitative leap.”

”The resulting destructive output will defy all mortal description.”

The women nodded in solemn agreement. A faint, wistful light flickered within Ei’s violet eyes.

”Both the Musou Isshin and our forged SlashBlades could be elevated to unimaginable heights through those runic scripts.”

”I can scarcely fathom what manner of power the blade will unleash once those enchantments take hold.”

Ryen leaned forward slightly, pressing the advantage.

”Yet weapon enhancements are merely the surface. To each of you as individuals, the supreme prize is that you will finally unlock an active experience bar, accompanied by material reserves like Hero’s Wit.”

An experience bar was a concept they understood intimately.

In earlier months, enchanting gear had been a constant puzzle because none of them possessed personal experience levels, forcing them to rely on enchanted books while Ryen alone gathered ambient experience orbs.

Though Ningguang and the council had felt a quiet twinge of regret at the time, Ryen’s casual assurance that raw experience held little direct consequence had allowed them to set the issue aside.

Now, if a module was unlocking an authentic experience progression bar, it meant only one thing.

Experience was about to tether directly to personal combat prowess.

Lisa was the first to grasp the implication, leaning forward with emerald eyes shimmering with breathless interest.

”Does it function as I suspect? Texts like Hero’s Wit exist across Teyvat, but they are typically handwritten memoirs detailing an adventurer’s expeditions or martial treatises on swordcraft.”

Ryen chuckled, nodding in confirmation.

”Once the Genshin Impact module deploys, Hero’s Wit possesses a singular, absolute property: it directly elevates your experience point pool.”

”It is literally a consumable leveling manual from a video game!”

Lumine stared at him in utter disbelief.

Ryen shrugged with complete nonchalance.

”Why else did you imagine I suggested you treat this realm as playing a game called Genshin Impact?”

”Your experience pool will link directly to your Visions. The higher your accumulated experience, the more terrifying your elemental resonance becomes.”

”If you stockpile enough experience, you could theoretically ascend into full godhood on the back of your Vision alone.”

”The exact numerical threshold is something we must test in the field, but you must remember: within this block world, experience is the cheapest, most abundant resource in existence.”

”Crossing blades with monsters, excavating subterranean shafts, every single action rains experience upon your head.”

”In practical terms, your rate of martial growth, your progression velocity, will multiply a thousand times over.”

Ryen could not suppress an amused smirk.

”Under traditional rules, elevating your martial standing required years of meditating upon elemental leylines and courting mortal peril in live combat.”

”With this module running, should you desire a breakthrough...”

”Stand beneath a mob grinder tower for three days, and your combat parameters will surge with visible, terrifying speed.”

”That covers your personal martial ascension. Do you comprehend where the supreme strategic value of the module lies regarding our global alliance?”

Ningguang was silent for several long seconds before offering a tentative reply.

”Is it... the boundless abundance of materials, and the universal distribution of Visions?”

Ryen smiled warmly, nodding in approval.

”Take a guess: what manner of components are required to forge a Vision?”

Ningguang hesitated. Beside her, Ei’s brow furrowed slightly as she offered her own divine deduction.

”Across Teyvat, the bestowing of Visions is regulated by the Sustainer and dispensed through the administration of Celestia.”

”At its foundational core, a Vision is a crystallization of pure elemental leylines. Must we synthesize concentrated elemental cores?”

”And must those cores be harvested by slaying apex monsters spawned across the frontier?”

Ryen blinked in genuine surprise, casting an admiring glance toward the Electro Archon.

”You have grown remarkably literate in the mechanics of this universe, haven’t you?”

Ei held his gaze with calm, dignified composure.

”I have walked these stone thoroughfares for months. Does the Wizardry module not follow that exact logic? Elevating a casting staff requires slaying monsters to harvest their drops.”

”Your tactical reasoning is impeccable,” Ryen laughed, shaking his head.

”Yet you severely underestimate the sheer absurdity of this module. Synthesizing a masterless Vision requires merely four pieces of stone.”

”Four... pieces of stone?!”

Hu Tao’s jaw dropped, her canine tooth flashing as she stared at him in total shock.

”Are you certain it is plain stone, and not some sacred, unrefined ore?”

Ryen spread his hands in total innocence.

”Ordinary stone. Any common mineral will suffice: rough cobblestone, obsidian, or common granite, every single one can synthesize a Vision.”

”You can even select the regional casing of your choice.”

”Four stones yield a masterless Vision bearing Liyue’s diamond frame. Place that Liyue frame back onto the crafting table, and without spending a single grain of dust, it transmutes into the winged frame of Mondstadt.”

”Mondstadt cycles into Inazuma, Inazuma into Sumeru, Sumeru into Fontaine, Fontaine into Natlan, and Natlan into Snezhnaya.”

”Finally, the Snezhnayan frame cycles smoothly back to Liyue, consuming zero raw materials throughout the entire loop.”

”A single tap upon the crafting bench, and the vessel is complete.”

”Remarkably convenient, wouldn’t you say? It can double as an identity badge for our allied regiments upon the battlefield.”

Ryen offered the explanation with a cheerful grin.

The women sat in paralyzed, breathless disbelief.

Using sacred Visions as military identification tags.

Only Ryen could conceive of such a ludicrous deployment.

Yet upon sober reflection, the proposal was terrifyingly viable.

The entire procedure consumed merely four common rocks. This block world lacked many things, but stone was inexhaustible.

The decorative flagstones paving the courtyards of the City Lord Manor alone were enough to forge an entire mountain of Visions.

”Then...”

Yae Miko’s fox-like eyes flickered with intense intrigue, her voice dropping into a soft, sultry purr.

”What of elementally awakened Visions?”

”For elementally awakened variants...”

Ryen paused, scouring his memory. Lacking a physical crafting manual on hand, the finer recipes were slightly blurred, yet the overarching pattern remained fresh in his mind.

”Electro requires an Electro Crystal. Pyro requires a Flaming Flower Stamen. Geo requires a piece of Cor Lapis...”

”The remaining recipes escape me for the moment, but considering how common those three catalysts are, none of the elements demand precious rarities.”

A deafening, suffocating silence fell over the room.

The women looked down at the Visions resting upon their sashes, feeling their lifelong treasures suddenly appear painfully cheap.

They had assumed elemental awakening would demand rigorous alchemical rites; after all, these were sacred conduits of the divine.

Yet these ingredients...

Electro Crystals, Cor Lapis...

These were common commodities scattered across every mountain path.

Back in Teyvat, while not entirely worthless, they were practically bargain-bin goods that could be quarried by the cartload.

Flaming Flower Stamens were slightly more troublesome to pluck, but in the grand scheme of things, what right did a common fiery bloom possess to compose a divine Vision?

A Vision was the highest aspiration of mortal humanity, the foundational bedrock of transcendent might across seven nations.

How could common minerals like Electro Crystals dare stand in the same breath as the divine eye?

Worse still, those resources were considered common back in Teyvat.

Within the boundless geometry of the block world, where mineral veins generated with terrifying density, one could scarcely walk ten paces without kicking a cluster of glowing ores.

”By that calculation,” Lisa murmured, her emerald eyes fixing Ryen with a faint, glazed stare, ”the moment the Genshin Impact module deploys, Visions can be manufactured on an automated industrial assembly line?”

Ryen let out a warm, sympathetic chuckle.

”It certainly deals a harsh blow to your traditional worldview, but the conclusion is absolute.”

”Very well... this universe has shattered my sensibilities so thoroughly that a few more cracks hardly matter... not in the slightest...”

Lisa pressed her trembling hand against her chest, taking slow, deliberate deep breaths to steady her racing heart.

Watching her bosom rise and fall, Ryen felt a sudden warmth stirring in his palms.

He was hardly going to sit idly by. Gliding his hand smoothly from Lumine’s shoulder to rest against Lisa’s bodice, he murmured with a virtuous, solemn smile, ”Allow me to assist with your breathing.”

Lisa cast a dry, exasperated sidelong glance downward, her lips twitching.

”I am quite certain sliding your hand inside my robes does not qualify as assisting with my breathing.”

”It allows our hearts to resonate closer, ensuring deeper relaxation,” Ryen countered with absolute, shameless conviction.

Lisa let out a soft, defeated sigh, too exhausted by the cosmic revelation to swat his fingers away.

Ningguang shook her head gently, steering the deliberation back to statecraft.

”It seems our grand vision of an all-Vision infantry division is about to become an immediate reality.”

”What of the secondary strategic dividend you mentioned?”

Ryen spread his arms wide, leaning back against the cushions.

”Resources.”

”Consider the boundless scale of this cosmos. Recall the hundreds of mining shafts your regiments have already cleared, and consider the sheer mineral density of this earth.”

”The landmass of the Main Continent alone matches the entire acreage of Teyvat, does it not?”

”And your legions hold absolute operational control over every charted cavern within our perimeter.”

”Which means: once the Genshin Impact module is anchored, will those existing shafts not yield an ocean of native Teyvat minerals?”

”Will our mob grinder towers not spawn native Teyvat creatures? And will those creatures not drop the exact materials your alchemists crave?”

Guided by his quiet, measured cadence, the breathing of the women grew noticeably heavy.

Given the immense scale of the Main Continent and their total mastery over its subterranean networks, the implications of loading the module were staggering.

The benefits were beyond Ningguang’s wildest projections.

The rarest reagents of Teyvat would become everyday clutter within this realm.

The chronic material deficits that had throttled the development of their homeland would dissolve overnight.

Furthermore, monster drops were essential components for high-tier craftsmanship.

Harvesting them safely and endlessly from automated water channels without risking a single soldier’s life was a logistical paradise.

Watching their eyes blaze with electric, ravenous ambition, Ryen offered a slow, mysterious grin, preparing to drop his final conversational bomb.

Looking at Ningguang with exaggerated innocence, he tilted his head.

”I do have one final inquiry.”

”In your estimation: Iron Chunks, White Iron Chunks, Crystal Chunks, Magical Crystal Chunks, Cor Lapis, and Vajrada Amethyst...”

”How many raw shards would it take to compress into a solid cubic meter?”

The room went completely, terrifyingly still.
