Genshin x Minecraft: Building the Temple of Virtue

”The... Genshin Impact module?”

The women exchanged bewildered glances, an inexplicable sense of discord settling over the parlor.

”Ryen, what do you mean by that?”

Ganyu paused her quill, looking up with wide, questioning eyes. After a moment of hesitation, she ventured a cautious guess.

”Could it be a module designed to manufacture Visions in vast quantities?”

Ryen chuckled softly, shaking his head with an amused smile.

”Think on a grander scale, Ganyu. Expand your imagination.”

”Why assume it is merely an accessory? Why can it not represent the entirety of Teyvat, compressed and integrated directly into this universe as a functional module?”

Ganyu sat frozen, her lips parted in silence. Around the table, not a single voice rose to break the stillness.

An eerie, overwhelming chill swept through the room as the sheer absurdity of the block world pressed down upon their thoughts.

”What do you mean...”

Paimon hovered closer to Ryen, her tiny hands trembling as she whispered with wide, horrified eyes.

”Is this block world preparing to swallow Teyvat whole?”

A subtle twitch pulled at the corner of Ryen’s mouth. He genuinely could not fathom how the little mascot managed to reach such a dramatic, catastrophic conclusion.

”What Ryen means,” Lumine interrupted, clamping her palm over Paimon’s mouth to muffle further panic, ”is that every defining element of Teyvat, Visions, Gnoses, elemental leylines, regional materials, and monsters, is compiled into an operational mod and installed into this realm. In essence, this world simply adopts the parameters of Teyvat.”

Lisa’s brow furrowed, her emerald eyes fixing Ryen with a look of profound disbelief.

”Can an entire reality genuinely be duplicated in such a manner?”

”Why shouldn’t it be possible?”

Ryen watched her with quiet amusement, prompting the librarian to let out a slow, conflicted breath.

”Yet this is Teyvat we speak of. A complete, mature universe possessing rigid elemental systems that have evolved across countless eras.”

”Can the underlying logic and fundamental leylines of an entire cosmos be replicated through a single module? That defies all natural reason.”

Ryen let out a soft laugh, resting his chin in his hand as he countered with an easy grin.

”Tell me, when has this block world ever bothered adhering to natural reason?”

Lisa was struck completely speechless.

The previous modules, terrifying and wondrous as they were, had only delivered external shocks to their understanding. No matter how absurd a mechanic appeared, spending enough weeks within this realm allowed one to accept it with a shrug.

This development, however, was fundamentally different.

This was Teyvat. The sacred cradle where every one of them had drawn their first breath, the world where their ancestors had walked.

They might not comprehend every hidden secret of their homeland, but they understood its weight intimately.

Now, Ryen was telling them that their entire reality was about to be packaged as an auxiliary mod and loaded into this voxel engine.

A universe that had endured through the ancient myths of the Primordial One, the reign of the Seven Dragon Sovereigns, the tragic descent of the Three Moon Sisters, and the First Throne of the Heavens.

A civilization forged through the fires of the Archon War and the blood-soaked ruin of Khaenri’ah.

Millennia of epic, agonizing history were about to be reduced, in the span of a single heartbeat, to a downloadable module installed into a sandbox.

It felt precisely like a group of determined entrepreneurs spending decades building a prosperous enterprise, weathering every storm until their business reached a valuation in the tens of billions.

Only for a mysterious magnate to stroll into town, decide he fancied their trade, and casually purchase their life’s work before afternoon tea.

He declared his intent to build a company on Monday, and by Tuesday morning, his conglomerate controlled the entire market.

It was impossible to process, defying every instinct they possessed.

Yet beneath the vertigo lay an undeniable truth.

”In the grand scheme, it remains an extraordinary blessing,” Ningguang murmured, pressing her fingers against her temples as she forced herself to swallow the sheer absurdity of the concept.

”The Genshin Impact module...”

Ei let out a slow, melancholy sigh, caught between profound wonder and quiet existential grief.

This was the sovereign domain she had shed blood to protect for centuries. Yet within the rules of this universe, it was treated like a casual trinket, summoned into existence simply because Ryen took an interest.

Such a psychological drop was enough to leave even seasoned gods like Zhongli dazed for days.

Had the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles caught wind of this, she would have fainted from pure, unadulterated outrage.

Yet trying to isolate why they felt so conflicted proved impossible.

It was an undeniable boon, yet none of them could summon a bright smile.

After a long pause, Ningguang looked up, her amber eyes locking onto his.

”You claimed this module suits our alliance better than all others.”

Ryen nodded gently, sliding his hands smoothly toward Guizhong and Lumine as he settled deeper into the cushions.

”Naturally. You are the native children of Teyvat. Even if you do not command absolute knowledge of every obscure secret, you understand the vast majority of its materials and creatures, don’t you?”

”Whatever slips your memory can be located within the archives of your academies, and should all else fail, you hold Zhongli as a living encyclopedia.”

”Having walked the earth for over six millennia, he knows Teyvat down to its bedrock.”

”That single reality spares me the tedious chore of walking you through endless technical manuals.”

”As for elemental resonance, you are all Vision wielders and sovereign gods; you understand elemental reactions intimately. Once this module deploys, you will be able to channel elemental forces and trigger elemental reactions legitimately beneath the skies of this universe.”

Ryen paused, his cadence turning bright and expansive.

”You may visualize it as the sudden manifestation of an infinite mirror of Teyvat. Compared to your native realm, this mirror world possesses boundless territorial acreage and inexhaustible resources, lacking only cities and civilian populations.”

”Simply treat it as playing a game called Genshin Impact inside the block world.”

As the words left his lips, Ryen could not help but chuckle.

Native Teyvatians playing Genshin Impact within modded Minecraft.

The concept was absurd enough to shatter the fourth wall completely.

This block world was indisputably the most ridiculous universe in existence.

As a game, it broke every conventional boundary; as a physical reality, its very existence felt like an impossible cosmic jest.

His frequent boast that nothing lay beyond the reach of this world, so long as one could imagine it, was proven true once more.

With sufficient ambition, every game across creation could be simulated within these blocks.

Nearby, Ganyu pressed her lips together, quietly setting aside her drafting quill.

Recording notes for a Genshin Impact module felt thoroughly redundant.

Moreover, judging by Ryen’s radiant expression, the selection for their martial ascension mod was already set in stone.

What was there to catalog?

The resources introduced by the module were the very commodities they had touched since childhood.

If an anomaly surfaced, they needed only to cross the portal and pull a regional encyclopedia from the shelves of the library.

Tracing his logic, Ganyu spoke in a gentle, melodic cadence.

”Following Ryen’s reasoning, our alliance truly requires no agonizing deliberations; this system aligns with our needs far better than foreign disciplines.”

”We possess an intimate understanding of Teyvat’s ecology. If the Genshin Impact module is integrated, our troops will require zero orientation cycles.”

”We can plunge straight into full-scale extraction on day one.”

”The infinite reserves of native materials generated by this realm can be funneled directly back to our homeland, demanding zero alteration to our existing craftsmanship.”

”It essentially provides our nations with a bottomless, inexhaustible storehouse.”

”As for elevating our personal combat parameters...”

Ganyu hesitated for a second, and Ningguang smoothly caught the thread without missing a beat.

”Adhering to the rule-breaking logic of this universe, elevating our martial strength implies something far grander, does it not?”

”It likely means Visions and Gnoses can be manufactured in mass quantities.”

”Alongside an armory of high-tier weaponry...”

Ryen lifted a finger, shaking his head with an easy, confident smirk.

”Let us be precise: divine armaments.”

Catching their bewildered stares, Ryen offered a brief breakdown.

”Hu Tao’s Staff of Homa, Ei’s Musou Isshin, Guizhong’s Memory of Dust, Jean’s Aquila Favonia.”

”Those legendary weapons can be synthesized repeatedly in bulk, requiring merely a surplus of raw components.”

”Once our industrial lines are established, manufacturing crates of those divine blades will become routine labor.”

”Furthermore, as you understand, every mechanic in this world is governed by rigorous system logic, meaning these weapons will feature digitized combat metrics.”

”Their exact stat multipliers and passive scaling will be visible at a glance, allowing you to forge whatever armaments complement your personal arts.”

”Moreover, when the immense mass of this world’s materials merges with the physical laws of this universe, carrying those forged blades back to Teyvat will see their output magnified even further under the blessing of your native leylines.”

The women stared at him with numb, glassy expressions, nodding mechanically as their minds struggled to keep pace.

Ryen pressed forward, entirely unperturbed.

”Beyond armaments, there are Artifacts.”

”Across Teyvat, relics enriched by ancient leyline memories provide monumental leaps to your elemental combat.”

”Yet native Artifacts remain exceptionally scarce, making it impossible to outfit an entire standing vanguard with matched sets.”

”Once the Genshin Impact module settles into the system, however, complete Artifact sets become farmable commodities that can be mass-produced through standard harvesting.”

”Consider the Crimson Witch of Flames set. Across the whole of Teyvat, perhaps a single complete set exists in the wild, demanding perilous expeditions to recover.”

”Within this realm, standard mining or defeating wilderness hostiles grants direct drop chances.”

”The numeric scaling of the Witch set is fully digitized: the two-piece bonus grants a fifteen percent amplification to Pyro damage.”

”The four-piece bonus elevates Overloaded, Burning, and Burgeon damage by forty percent, while increasing Vaporize and Melt multipliers by fifteen percent.”

”Additionally, activating an Elemental Skill amplifies the two-piece effect by fifty percent for a sustained window.”

”While its output might differ slightly from the mythical essence of the original relic, such focused stat scaling represents an apex enhancement for any Pyro wielder, does it not?”

Hearing the exact multipliers laid bare, Hu Tao performed swift mental calculations, factoring in the sixty percent universal attribute bonus already provided by her Master Staff.

”By that calculation, does that mean...”

Hu Tao stared at Ryen with wide, disbelieving eyes, her canine tooth flashing.

”If I don a complete Crimson Witch set while channeling through an Advanced Fire Wand elevated to the master tier, my combat parameters will instantly reach the threshold of a mid-tier deity?”

”Could it even propel me toward the heights of an ancient, high-tier god?”

Ryen chuckled, nodding with absolute certainty.

”Precisely. I cannot recite the precise thresholds dividing your local deities, but the general trajectory aligns with your estimate.”

To Ryen’s mind, whether one stood as a minor god or an ancient sovereign mattered little; both dissolved under a single swing of his fist. He had zero interest in parsing the minute nuances of divine power tiers.

”Furthermore, there is the crafting of authentic Visions,” Ryen added casually.

”Though each of you already commands a native Vision, a Delusion, and a custom Gnosis, loading this module allows you to equip a secondary system Vision upon your frame.”

”What manner of cataclysmic resonance will erupt when you harmonize three distinct elements across your arts is something even I cannot fully foresee.”

”Yet looking at both our baseline logistical floor and our supreme martial ceiling, no system in existence matches this module.”
